Okay I'm now on the fence about the cult with how the intro is, I might go with a Squat instead

Burn the mutant, Kill the Heretic and Purge the Unclean (40k Space marine Terminators)

I'll see what Chapter we end up with, but chances are I won't be able to participate in this RP as my others are too active, but you can probably put me on the list to replace leavers.

It was a wistful little song when sung by the veteran but it helped clear Don's mind. Walking through the alley the old man couldn't help but sing; after all, there were people there that had it worse than him. He remembered he had a little exchange with another guy down on his luck it was oh... three months ago now? The gentleman was confused by his cheery outlook, while Don in turn was confused by his counterpart's absence of one. The man said that even if there were those that were worse off did it not mean that one - it was possible for things to be worse and that two - it meant there was more worse in the world?

Those were awfully silly points to bring up! Though many would be too blind with luxury to realize Donny was in fact a gentleman of leisure. He could wander the open skies and ponder the important matters of life without having silly things like responsibilities to chain him! He replied to the other homeless fellow - Charlie, now that he remembered - that it wasn't so simple. Now in school and on Thanksgiving they told you that seeing others were so much more unfortunate would make you enjoy what you had more, this all is true. However he certainly believed that there was more to the joys of poverty which he could reveal to Charlie. He had already described the aforementioned lack of responsibility, but he felt that Charlie didn't quite grasp the point. That day he took the man on a train where they both pissed in the starbucks of a hipster, too late realizing they should have finished it first. Still the beanie wearing man drank it and then spilled the hot contents as he shuddered in disgust, much to the chagrin of the two men. Yin-yang, the locals called Donny and Charlie. The two men did well in tandem, looking quite funny with one being white with a dark beard and the other dark with a white beard.

Charlie was stabbed in his sleep a few weeks back. Donny wasn't too hurt by this, he was drunk and the steak house had thrown out some really nice cuts that day and Charlie died as happy as he would be for a while.

The veteran got out of his thoughtful stupor as he nearly slipped, looking down to see what messed with his footing. The offending object was a phone, a quite pretty one with a case covered in plastic diamonds. He had just walked out of the alley and looked up to see no one — then he turned around and saw two young women walking by having an evening chat. Oh the urge, they could certainly live without this toy that they lost but was it a fact he could? No. But... that wasn't the point was it. Don sighed somewhat annoyed at being stupid enough to do the right thing, but then smiled remembering the proverb ignorance is bliss.

“Err, miss? Hello?”

It took a moment for the girls to turn, both of whom looked at Donny with some good confusion.

“I uhh, think this belongs to you. One of you, anyway.”

The two looked at him with some confusion before one snatched it from the man's hand.

“You fucking freak!”

The girl's pink lips moving was the last thing Donny saw before seeing started to hurt a lot. He keeled over clutching his eyes while the two offenders walked away as though naught happened. Maybe half an hour passed, before at last the old man got up.

“Ingrate bitches....”

He could probably find them if he tried, it seemed they were heading to the mall and with a bit of prowling he could make their day a lot, lot worse. Yet there was just enough of Private Barretto left to stop Donny. He sighed, standing up to brush himself off and wander on to the next place fate would take him.

Fabios roared in contempt as his shoulder hit the knife-ear, rapidly turning to bring down his weapon on the vile creature. His mordhau strike insured that blade, crossguard, grip and pommel all hit the foe at once and the consequent slicing, piercing and bludgeoning force all in one made another fantastic spray of red stuff all across the Knight. He let out a weary exhalation, momentarily recuperating after all the exerted violence. As his shoulders sagged up an down with the air going in and out he barely noticed the poisoned arrow strike his face. Quickly falling out of his stupor he squatted to reach into his backpack and produced his helm. Fabios pulled up his chainmail and cloth coif over his head before snugly placing his helmet into its rightful position. He was covered from head to toe in plate and chainmail but he knew he couldn't relax. If the elf arrows bounced off of thick steel he knew the bastards were often deadeye shots and had a decent chance of hitting him through his helmet slit or neck or some other exposed spot if he didn't stay on his toes.

The man slapped his cheek a few times to try and get some sense back into it but gave up after the fourth try, and instead turned to watch the assault upon Heda. Well, she was a big lass and thus it was quite expected that such frenzied bastards as these elves would go after her first. While he pitied the woman somewhat, he did rejoice some what as all those assaulting her exposed themselves to some nasty stabs in the back.

The Paladin quickly sheathed his two-handed blade and replaced it with his falchion knowing the shorter blade would be better in the tighter fighting his comrade was going through. He ran towards the aid of Heda giving his weapon a few flourishes to adjust to a new blade's balance, his expression now dead as the poison spread throughout him. The man would waste no time as he neared going straight to stab the closest target in the flesh. However he maintained vigilance, not only did he have to insure that he wasn't pounced from the sides he had to focus on a prayer so that the light might go and mend the wounds that were getting worse by the moment on Heda. At the same time, he had to count how many elves were still alive, because he'd like to get at least one to have a friendly chat with.
