Bio

Alright Soooo here it is,
I'm an old man (post 30's) who has been at the RP game since I was in Middle School. Happily Married and a huge Nerd. My main interests for RP's and such are Medieval Realistic Fantasy, As in no one person wielding a massive 200 lb weapon in one hand or going way over the top with crazy 25 hit combos in the air. I like things to play out as they would normally of course with magic, magic is always fun. I also like Futuristic Space (Star Wars, Mass Effect, and almost anything involving some sort of Mech). I work a crap ton and cant really get into a real post every day but I do try. If you think you got something I might like hit me up.

Silas listened to the criticisms and complements from the squad taking notes from those with more experience, then took note of his position for the assault before giving a bit of a salute to Holly, "Yes Ma'am" He said before turning back to the transport. It didn't take him long to get to and enter his suit. After doing his diagnostic checks and getting all the green lights he would move himself into position. Opting to take a spot in the hanger. Once in position the waiting game would begin.
After listening to his guard Leonidas started to divide them out among the defenders. To the West he assigned Merik and it also seemed that Rodolph had been assigned the western gate as well and Merik was given the go ahead to use the explosive charges he requested. To the east Faira and Manald were sent to deal with those who dared climb the ladders. Up north was going to be Leonidas and Zatana to face off against the orcs themselves. And finally down in the sewers was Acrius placed somewhere where he could go a little wild if the enemy were able to smash the barricades that had been put in place. And Balthazar would remain in the war room assisting with troop redeployment and rotations.

---About an Hour later---

It was still early in the morning, a chilling breeze was in the air and a light drizzle started to fall. Leonidas stood on the wall Bow in had with a cauldron of arrows at one side his Warhammer leaned against the wall on the other. As he breathed you could see his breath hang in the air. "Don't you go running off on your own today. The orcs probably won't be as nice as the Goblins and run away from you." he said with a grin looking at Zatana. It was about this time that war horns started to sound in the distance and a massive chorus roars started to sound from the mountains. "Well, looks like its about time to start." And the attack came. Rocks flew from behind their cover aimed at the Northern and Western walls. Goblins flooded out rushing to assault the West and East walls and a green tide of orcs charged the North. As the forces rushed forward the cannons facing each side started to open fire. Leonidas started to sling arrows at the approaching Orcs trying to thin their numbers, but the green beasts were resilient most taking multiple arrows without even flinching.

---West Gate---

As the war horns blew goblins spilled forth rushing the gate. As the goblins approached it seemed they wanted to try the gate again, although in lesser numbers this time. Only three sappers rushed at the western gate in the initial charge but those three were quickly taken down by the focused fire of the guardsmen. With the failure of the sappers the battering ram started to emerge from its hiding spot. slowly making its way to the gate.

---East Gate---

The goblins rushing the eastern wall didn't waste any time at all their lead ranks rushing forward while carrying the siege ladders. There were about 20 ladders in total making their way to the walls, and the ladders seemed big enough that the goblins could climb them two at a time. To make things more difficult two massive armored war trolls were also deployed to this side, one wielding a massive hammer, the other a huge great axe. The trolls made their way to the gate forcing the defenders to split their focus between the ladders and the trolls.

---Sewers---

Things were quiet down in the sewers at the start. With each of the cannon shots above the sewers shook a little and the guardsmen below seemed a little shaken. And as the battle continued things were boring especially for Acrius. That was until there was a bit of a boom. The barricade that had been built to close the sewer entrance was blown apart by a goblin sapping team. As goblins started to race into the tunnel the guardsmen readied themselves.
Darius watched as the young lady approached his table and introduced herself. This "Will" was not exactly what he had pictured and by her first impression did not look to be the hardened smuggler who makes a living bypassing Imperial Blockades that he had been hoping for... But she was the only Captain willing to take on a fresh new hire on this rock so she would have to do. He smiled at her, "Darius Gallant at your service." He said while shaking her hand. His grip was firm, but gentle at the same time. "Now would you like to go over the details of the job I found here? Or would you prefer somewhere more private to talk about these matters?" He asked her after they finished the hand shake. "Or we can leave the business talk till after we get to know each other a bit. I'm hoping this will turn into a long term partnership as I'm quite tired of jumping ship to ship." He said with a smile.
After his sudden departure form the Lions Silas needed something to get him away and out of sight. Signing up to defend a small town in the middle of nowhere sounded like just the ticket. But as he got off the transport things looked in worse shape than he had thought. It looked like the town had already been hit before, outer defenses compromised and even some of the inner walls as well.

He quickly made some rounds taking notes before returning to Widow. "Took a quick look around Ma'am outer defenses are shot. With that hole in the wall there isn't anything to keep them at bay." He said reporting quickly. "Then on the interior there isn't much cover either so this might be an open firefight.... Unless...." He continued before going into a bit of thought. "What if we placed our units in the hanger, that northern building with the hole and the ramparts and hid until the enemy came into the main courtyard. Once they were in the center we hit them from all sides. we would have walls to use as cover and they wouldn't have anywhere to run." He quickly said after thinking out the plan. "Could work don't you think?" He asked in a questioning way, seeming to second guess his own plan.
As night became morning the City of Bergkoff was a buzz with soldiers retaking their places while those from the night watch made their way to rest. As things in the city start to kick off Leonidas called a strategy meeting calling in all of the royal guard as well as the captains of the city. Once everyone had gathered he started. "Everyone, Thank you for coming this morning, Our reports from last night pointed that the Orc forces are planning a large scale attack today from every front. That being said I wanted to get you all together before this happened so we know what we are up against. To the west they are bringing Battering Rams, probably aiming to break the weakened gate. Reports from the North says that the Orcs are planning to join the fray and attack in full force from that side. Siege ladders to the East and finally it seems that they were trying to use explosion to hit us from below from the sewers. Luckily we confiscated the explosives that were left in the sewers, but that is still s weak spot. We have fortified the area for now, but I don't think it will hold long. With that being said we don't have much time. Imperial Soldiers report to your positions we don't know when the assault will begin. As for my guard we will spread ourselves across the city to assist on every front. I have thoughts on where to place you, but if you have a preference let me know now." He explained letting the Captains leave the room before turning to his guard looking for their answers.
Elizabeth gave a little frown hearing Acrius' words. "Both? I didn't think you to be such a playboy. And if you have a duty to the prince I understand." She says while letting go of him. "But first." She moves in and kisses him passionately. "If you already have two I don't see the difference in one more." She says as she walks back "Have a good night, I'll see you on the walls tomorrow" She says walking away from him leaving him alone for the night.

Merik's hunt leading into the sewers was quite uneventful although very informative. Although he doesn't find any goblins or orcs he is able to track the sent to a sewer grate outside the city that has recently been removed and it seems just inside the sewer sets of sapping supplies were left for use at a later time.

----

After scouting out the Eastern front Zatana and Faira returned to the city reporting what they found. It wouldn't be long before Balthazar would be given the reports. The attacks on the tunnels were delayed and an emergency strategy meeting would be held in the morning.

134 lbs 5'7" tall fairly Athletic build

Gender: Male

Age: 23

Bio: Silas' childhood wasn't anything special, poor kid who grew up on the wrong side of town, and usually the wrong side of the law. Although he never did any serious crimes he stole to survive and got caught up with a bad crowd. As he reached his teen years he got caught stealing from a mercenary of the Flaming Lions which was a bad idea. But instead of beating him senseless the group took him in and raised him among the group. Sure at the start is was just keeping him around to do chores and odd jobs none of the members wanted to do, but as Silas grew he began to find his place among the team eventually working himself into a Lancer Unit. It was amazing, more than Silas could ever ask for, at least at the start. As Silas was starting to be put into the field, he finally saw first hand what kind of work the Flaming Lions did. And it wasn't something he agreed with.

Silas "left" the Lions when during a mission his orders were to fire upon an unarmed civilian transport. Instead he opened fire disabling his squads units and fled with the transport. It wasn't exactly a good parting and the Lions have been after him since he left the group.

Elizabeth smiled at Acrius. "Oh your not tired yet are you? You seem to be like someone who would have a lot of stamina. And of course my mother has allowed this." She said to him looking at Faira. "Thank you for the warning, but I'm Sure I can handle myself. Stay safe out there." She said to her waving as Faira left. Elizabeth was then about to pull Acrius away from the main street when another of what seemed to be Acrius' companions came up. Although this one was covered up the voice gave it away another woman, Elizabeth once again held onto Acrius but it seemed this woman was merely greeting him while moving on and didn't stop to chat. Alone once again Elizabeth finally decided to let go of Acrius' arm and then went to look him in the eyes, "Hey Acrius, you don't have a girlfriend or anything at home do you? Are you involved with one of those women?" She asked him while standing in a kind of shy pose arms behind her back while standing mostly on one leg turning back and forth.

Merik's hunt through the streets seemed to create a little bit of a commotion but it wasn't anything major that would stop him from his hunt. As he ran through the streets it took a bit, about half a hour before he found something, the sent of goblins. Immediately he would follow the sent rushing through the city his pace increasing as he did until he came to the point where he assumed the sent originated from a manhole cover leading into the sewer system underneath the city. It wouldn't take much effort to open the cover and continue the chase if he so pleased, but in making it this far would he really stop now?

----

Faira and Zatana would soon leave the city on their scouting mission heading to the east. There was little cover to hide their approach to the mountain side, but everything seemed quiet as they road. It wouldn't take them long before something would catch their attention. A hammering sound, sounds of conversation just around the corner of the mountain. Something was up, The pair quietly got off their horses to sneak a peak at what was going on. And after getting a look they would see a bit of a surprising thing. The goblins were making siege ladders from what they could make out about 20 ladders in total, and over 50 goblins out working on them. If they sat and watched for a bit the would be able to get a rough location of a tunnel entrance. Or they could try to sneak into the area and find an opening. But there wasn't any fires or light sources around to impede their vision, and goblins had decent vision at night meaning it might be a dangerous play to try and move around in the open.
