Lucas smiled and looked up at her "Alright, thanks." he said. It certainly wasn't a no, and that gave him hope. As he looked at her he noticed how different her eyes were. "Wow, I never noticed, but your eyes are very beautiful and unique. I like it." he said in awe.

"S-sorry, didn't mean to catch you off guard!" he said. Once she had answered him, and said she'd never been kissed, he blushed more and said "N-neither have I." He scooched closer to her, not realizing his hand was lightly resting on hers, as he asked "W-would you like to, um, idk, go out with me or something?" He looked down, hoping she couldn't see how red his face was, and that's when he noticed his hand on hers, turning even redder.
