Almost as if on cue, two guards started rounding the corner. Chuck let go of James and snuck up behind the guards, taking them both out and dragging them back to the others.
"My idea was to get them disguises and form a temporary truce, so we could cover more ground. It'll give us a better chance to find Meowth, Stufful, and what we're looking for." Chuck offered.
"Never thought I'd hear the two of you talk about caring for Pokémon." Chuck said. "But it works out in our favor. I have a proposition for the two of you that can benefit all of us."
Chuck did the same with James, pulling him into the shadows.
"They deserve a bit of a scare, I think." Chuck said.
"Seems we have a common enemy." Chuck whispered to Liam.
"Wait, there are other intruders besides us?" Chuck asked, shocked as he ducked behind a corner.
"Indeed."
"Yeah." he agreed, bumping up to a jog, ready to stop at a moment's notice should someone come around the corner or something.
