Not giving her a chance to recover, Christa followed up with a Heavy Slam on the Lopunny as Azriel was knocked out by the Z-Move. Chuck recalled the Alakazam and sent out Ariel, his Primarina, who immediately retaliated with Moonblast on the Incineroar.
That's the problem when battling against people who are supposed to be the best in several regions especially if they're protagonists.
Azriel used a combination of Ally Switch and Psychic to swap places with Christa and grab the Lopunny, who was racing toward it in midair, unable to dodge or evade, and slam her down on the ground. Meanwhile, Christa countered the Moonsault with a Superpower.
Being slow due to it's size and weight, Christa took the hit, but retaliated with another Heavy Slam as Azriel, whose mind could think faster than the Lopunny could move, had already prepared for the counter attack, and countered her Attract with Magic Coat, bouncing it right back at her. At such short range, and presumably not expecting it, there would be no way for her to react fast enough to get out of the way in time.
The Celesteela countered the kick with a punch from it's massive arm as the Alakazam warped out of the range of the hearts, going in once more for a Psychic attack.
Christa used the momentum to land on the ground and swing her arm, flinging the Incineroar far away from the battle. Azriel warped out of the way of the attract and flung another Psychic at the Lopunny. Chuck was surprised at the Lopunny's appearance, but tried not to let her distract him from the battle.
It's just people spouting rumors because they're upset due to no national dex.
