Current It's been three years since we lost Polymorpheus, a dear friend. It's felt like a lot longer, that time. I still think about Poly every so often, and how I miss them so very much. I won't forget them.

Bio

uhhhh, hi there

I am here and I sorta exist so yes this is my ‘bio’ and it will probably be rather brief and suck and be sloppy, just like me.
So, without further ado..

stuff about me

Most people call me Barti or Bart as well as a few other things since it’s just easier or meaner than the actual thing - I invite you to do so as well.

I’m a 23-year-old (bday June 20th!) Texan who enjoys thunderstorms and rain far too much, and likes anime, running, metal music, and copious amounts of DRUGS candy, among many other cool things - like DnD and MTG.

I enjoy group rps as well as 1x1s. For groups I have what I think is a decent array of interests, most of it being profusely weeb-y. I like Fantasystuffs (Modern especially), supernatural themes, pretty much all Japanese stuff - including historically accurate settings - as well as general dark/grim themes, comedic slice of life trash, academy rps, unique plots, etc. etc. As for 1x1s I pretty much do romance, but I can do non-romantic stuff too if you give me something to work with xP
The only genre I find myself not entirely comfortable with is really sci-fi stuff, but, if the plot/idea catches me enough it can hold my interest. Oh, and my writing level is high casual to low advanced.

I’m a sarcastic, snarky, bipolar-depressed, degenerate garbage can, but generally people seem to like me (I don’t know why in the hot hell you would) - but if you would also like to be my friendo lemme know.
I don’t bite.
Usually owo xd rawr

welppp...I guess that’s okay for now
thanks for reading, you potatoes

Hmm. Well lag fucked me over.
Well I must say I quite like it :P @HereComesTheSnow
Mimir Kamiya

Mimir sat seemingly entranced by the display of violence in front of him as he ate. The transfer student, as Mimir had already noted, used no IED to combat his opponent; however, it didn't seem like he needed it. To any layperson, the Thai's stance could be considered odd, with the distinguished elevated front leg(though slightly less-so in Kasemchai's case). When compared to the more basic 'styles' one could encounter on the street - the untrained ones, you could say it was. While Mimir was certainly no expert - he could recognize it as Muay Thai pretty easily. He knew the basic stances of many styles, and even used a variety of ostensibly unrelated techniques from various martial arts in his own free-form style. He could recognize the skill behind the fighter's movements almost as soon as he made his first attack.
Similarly, he could also recognize the challenger's stance. His father had been a fan of baseball in his earlier years, and was apparently not bad at it, by his tales. While Mimir had never caught on to the American pastime, he knew how it was supposed to look.

The two went at it, measuring each other's potential as they jabbed at each other with their attacks. Mimir's eyes dazzled as the two started to heat up their engagement, revealing bits of their respective arsenals to try and obtain the upper hand against the other.

He stood up and pumped his fist into the air, "Ywuhhh! Beat hus a-" he attempted to cheer them on, before almost choking on a mouthful of food he'd yet to finish. He recovered, albeit with pink-tinged cheeks, and continued watching the two duke it out, gripping his long ponytail in anticipation for the result. He really did enjoy a good fight - It was like TV, but better! And free front-row tickets to boot!
Gonna make my next post after King Cosmos'. Probably won't have an effect on anything, but Mimir may provide the two combatants' ears with some oddly-inciteful shouts muffled by food. :P
I find this an interesting engagement. Mimir will definitely be making notes :3
Mimir Kamiya

Reclining in the high sun of near-noon was one of the best ways to begin lunch. At least in Mimir's lunchtime philosophy. He usually went directly from his class to one of the school's yards, which was a usual lunch-spot for many, and today was no exception. He sat comfortably alone on one of the many benches, his posture leaned back as if he was leaning against a very comfortable chair - yet nothing seemed to be supporting the weight of his upper body, as the student seemingly rested with the brim of his hat tilted down over his eyes.

He preferred to begin his lunch this way, his eyes closed to block out visual distractions as he thought about whatever he desired - sometimes schoolwork, sometimes battle, sometimes other things. Today it was the transfer girl from yesterday's lunch period. Mimir had been wandering around as was common for him, as he witnessed the scene. A scene he'd wished occurred more often.

He found that new students with no ranking commonly did not stand up for themselves - a mistake in his eyes. If only they showed some semblance of a spine it would likely boost their initiative, and lead them on a path towards the higher ranks, if they had enough potential. Not only would this improve their stature in the school, but it could benefit him as well. He was always glad to make friends - especially those he could compete with fairly, and gain ranking from.

Perhaps this one would be different. He allowed a slight grin to come across his partially-concealed face.

Soon, his moment of thought was jarred by the sounds of a supposed nearby challenge. He sat up, looking over towards the voice as he removed his hat. The challenger was a rather short character, accompanied by a glaring crimson bat. The challenged - a Thai transfer student by the name of Kasemchai. He was the only Thai student Mimir knew by name - though he didn't know him by level, he just remembered that the student didn't appear to use an IED.

He also liked his hair.

Mimir seemingly stuck his arm far into the innards of his hat, soon after pulling his arm out and drawing a simple lunch pail from within. He set the pail to the side as he replaced the hat onto his head. Opening the pail, he removed a simple whole-wheat sandwich and a smaller canister of rice, and began chowing down as he watched the scene intently. He was always a fan of a good battle, regardless of whether he participated. He often took mental notes, even.

It looked like today he might be having dinner and a show.
Suzume is already making me cringe, lmao.
I’m more than willing to have Mimir join a club, not sure what it would be. He practices more of a free-style martial philosopher, so probably not a martial arts club - potentially in the future.

Don’t really feel like making a club either, so...maybe if someone else has one that seems cool for him. Combat related or not. Or he can be forced invited to a club IC by someone stubborn enough x3
No need for apology ^^ just wanted to make sure ya didn’t forget little ol’ hat-throwing guy. Heh.
