A @Bee & @Ejected collab.
Starring Nicole Milano and Carter Newton

Nicole was floating about, as happy as she could’ve been as she prepared the finishing touches on her dance outfit. The girl was practically bursting at the seams when it came to how excited she was for this dance. Going with someone as cool as Carter had made it much more appealing, despite the fact that everyone there was going as purely platonic couples. It was a ridiculous idea, even for Nicole’s tastes. Going as a couple was part of the fun for the dance! It was a bit of a travesty, and a big disservice to the student body that someone would dare be bold enough to pull off such an idea.

But, bygones had to be bygones, and everyone had to make do with what they were given. It wasn’t much of an issue for Nicole Milano, who, surprisingly enough, didn’t have anything going on romantically. She just didn’t want to bother with the boys and girls that clearly wanted to get in her pants and nothing more than that. Nicole wasn’t exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, but she knew what people wanted when they told her she was pretty over and over again.

Her red dress had complimented her just-as-red lipstick quite nicely. She knew Carter liked it, as she spent hours and hours trying to coordinate these outfits with him. However, she was also curious as to how Carter would put his own spin on his outfit. She knew the colors, but she also knew that Carter had a certain flair to him that was definitely going to show in this outfit of his, which Nicole was, of course, dying to see. At this point, all she had to do was pretty much wait for Carter to show up at her house and pick her up, as was tradition.

She was staring at her phone, the lock screen void of any substantial notification and messages as she glanced outside the window.

Where could Carter be at this point?

As if on cue, Carter Newton suddenly came speeding down the street in his bright, cherry red colored Lexus, his music blasting loud enough to wake the dead from their eternal slumber. Of course, he'd turned down the volume just as he pulled into Nicole's driveway, and after checking his hair in the mirror one final time, he cut the engine and stepped outside.

It had taken Carter a little over an hour to get himself prepared for the Valentine's Day dance, which was probably a little longer than it would've taken the average guy. It was no secret that Carter took great pride in his appearance; he'd been careful to make sure that his ensemble was well put together, and that not even a single strand of hair was out of place. After discussing everything with Nicole, Carter chose to keep things fairly simple: he wore a black button-up shirt, a black pair of pants, and red dress shoes to match Nicole's dress. As usual, Carter wore his typical assortment of jewelry, this time opting for silver instead of gold. He gently twisted one of the rings on his fingers as he approached the front door. It only took a few seconds after him knocking for the door to be pulled wide open.

Hearing the knocking on the door, Nicole shot up faster than a speeding bullet and made her way downstairs. Finally, Carter was here! The few minutes it took from her looking at her phone and waiting for him to arrive had felt like an eternity to the cheerleader. Thank goodness he arrived! Nicole honestly would’ve died of boredom if she had to wait any longer. Now, the two could turn some heads together. They didn’t put so much time into planning to not turn some heads. With their fashion taste put together, they were a storm to reckon, at least in Nicole’s opinion.

”Carter! Oh my god, you look so good!” Nicole said, before leaning in for a big hug. ”We are gonna SLAAY!” She said, a giant smile on that goofy face of hers.

Carter couldn't help but smile as he returned Nicole's hug; her energy was never anything short of infectious. "Of course we're gonna slay," the young man said with a chuckle as he took in Nicole's ensemble. "You look good too, Nicole. You ready to go?"

”Oh heck yeah! I’ve been waiting on you forever!” Nicole beamed, before hooking her arm onto his, ”We’re gonna stun.”

After walking Nicole back out to his car and opening the door for her, Carter returned to his spot in the driver’s seat and started the ignition once more. His music began to play once more, but instead of turning it up like usual, he simply handed Nicole his cell phone and said, "You can be the DJ for the ride, if you want. I'll listen to anything but country music." As he spoke those last few words, he let out a chuckle and started pulling out of the driveway. The drive to the country club wouldn't take too long, especially not with how Carter preferred to drive.

god damn it

The man had looked at Camilla a little funny, before walking off and disappearing into the crowd. Well, that could've gone much better. But, he must've had something or someone much more important to deal with. Camilla wasn't going to be too salty about it. This was a party! Even though it was hard to find someone to hang out with for the time being, she was still determined to make the most out of the party and not waste her time here. Most her friends were preoccupied, sure, but that didn't mean that she wasn't able to have a good time. Hell, maybe she'd run into a stranger back at the drinks table and drink it up there.

Making her way back to the drinks table, she was hoping that she'd at least run into someone she knew, that someone had somehow wandered away and was free for Camilla to tag along with. However, much to Camilla's dismay, there wasn't really anyone like that. Thank god there was some liquid courage nearby, because once she had just a bit in her system, she was going to be chatting up quite a storm. Arriving at the drinks table, she found the strongest alcohol she could get her hands on. Vodka it was - and boy was she pouring a lot of it into her cup. She didn't even like the taste, but if it got her drunk faster, then so be it.

"Bottoms up." She said to herself, downing quite a bit of vodka. Shuddering and coughing a bit from the Russian concoction taking her by storm, she shook her head. It might've just been her mind playing tricks on her, but she could already feel a bit of a buzz coming on. "Alright, let's do this." She said, wandering off into the crowd to see if she could find someone to hang out with for the rest of the party.
i'll slide in with my dude soon!
Persona 5 Royal was easily the best $50 I've spent in 2020. I'm having so much fun with the game and it's already well worth my money.

I'm also enjoying RE3 Remake quite a bit, but I don't think it's worth the $60 given how little content it has relative to its price (even despite the rather shoddy multiplayer)
