Biography Lia's life has been relatively simple, her father raised her from a young age, though he wasn't alone. When Lia was about 5 years old, her father got married to a woman who had two sons already who were a few years older than her, her step-mother Lauren, and her new step-brothers Mitchell and Chase, were all fairly nice to her, and accepted her into their family.
She was good at sports growing up, generally playing any sort of sport that she was allowed to, and she tended to practice with her brothers, which added another one to the list, giving her a half-brother name Jonathan who was about 3 years younger than she was. Being the only girl in the house aside from her step-mother was a bit difficult, but she could easily hold her own against Mitchell and Chase, who were 3 and 4 years older than her.
It wasn't until she was around 12 that she started to notice anything weird around her. Stares on occasion from complete strangers, or what she thought was something weird lurking around corners. One day, when she was almost 13 years old, she asked her father about it. He pulled her aside and told her the truth about her mother, and how he had met her. Her father was a cop, one who sometimes took things a bit into his own hands, still did on occasion, when he met her mother Nemesis.
The woman wasn't who he had expected, but he grew to care, and even love the woman. Unlike some people, he didn't actually do something wrong to have her appear, but rather was doing something right, making sure people got justice for crimes committed against them. When Lia was born, Nemesis revealed who she really was, and ended up leaving him alone with Lia.
Amalia was shocked to hear this revelation, but he told her that the rest of her family didn't know, and that she couldn't tell them, which was understandable in her mind. Who would want to find out that someone in your family was a Demigod? He told her about a camp that was for people like her, and she went to Camp Half-Blood the very next summer, generally sticking to being a summer camper only and going back to her family afterwards.
How Long Have They Been At Camp Half-Blood: Her father had told her that she was a Demigod, and mentioned the camp as a place for people like her to train and learn. She was eager to go, so when the summer rolled around, she went to the camp for the very first time. Since she is a summer camper only though, every summer she leaves at the end and heads back home to Montana. She didn't want to abandon her family entirely, so just spending each summer there was good enough for her, and she came up with things to tell the rest of her family (aside from her father of course) about what she did at camp. She has currently been attending the camp for the past 3 years.
