Flynn said nothing in response to what Wanda had said, he had essentially done what Tinley had asked him to, which was to attack the Sentinels coming towards them, not his fault that they both exploded and sent debris raining down on them. There wasn't much else he could really do at the moment as he just waited patiently for the elevator to get them to the R&D department. He still wasn't too thrilled with the idea that back on the first floor they had essentially killed a kid, that probably was going to stay with him for a while. One more instant of how badly screwed up the world was becoming.

When the elevator opened up, he glanced out and saw the android, and that android did not look like any other ones that they had really come across before. What the hell was with this one? It definitely was strange, and seeing it take out Spider-Gwen and then Captain Marvel with power dampening chains on her made him a bit concerned with how best to deal with the situation. "Alright Abercrombie, got any bright ideas to get us out of this mess? Since I don't think just blasting at him and attacking is going to really work..."

"Alright, if you say so Guin," Flynn said, nodding his head when she mentioned going to investigate. However, he did have to agree that she did have a point, and he definitely was not okay with someone thinking that Miranda had anything to do with it. Not to mention he wouldn't be surprised if his mother was able to hear everything that was going on around her.

As if right on cue, Miranda started to stir slightly, before she opened up her eyes and slowly sat up off of the bed. "Are you okay?" he asked her, concerned about her well being.

"I am alright Flynn, and yes, I was able to hear what you all were saying, but do not worry... I won't tell anyone about what it is you all were discussing here," she said, before looking over at Carolina. "To answer your question, I am alright," she said in response to Annie.

"...So you are perfectly fine with the conversation we all were having just right now then?" Flynn asked her a bit dubiously.

"Yes..." she responded, but it was obvious she wasn't telling the full truth. Well, she was telling the truth about not going to tell anyone about what they were discussing, but it was somewhat obvious that she was hiding something.

"What is it mother?" he asked, instantly picking up on the fact that she was hiding something.

"It is nothing, do not worry," she replied, still looking over at Carolina.

"Whatever you say kid," Wolverine grunted slightly, only somewhat acknowledging what Max had said to him. Banner walked through the portal now, as did Shelly.

"Runa, do you wish to let that man through? Since if I had to guess, probably not," Klara asked her cousin, looking through the portal right at her, nodding her head slightly in James' direction.

"Only if this portal sends him to Niflheim," Runa muttered darkly

She just nodded her head simply, before her sword started glowing with a blackened aura as she unsheathed it, "You are not coming through the portal," she said coldly to James, before there was a large blast that shot forward, slamming into James and sending him flat on his back on the ground. It likely was going to be a bit difficult for him to get up considering his legs were still stuck together. With that, she turned to look at Max, "You let him through a portal and you are dead."

"No killing inside," Hawkeye reminded Klara. Banner raised an eyebrow, but he couldn't blame her. He was a little weirded out by Runa's choice of words, but she was from Norway - maybe she really did believe in Norse gods and all.

Lance shook his head slightly when Novikova restored his memories of the real world. He was somewhat confused by the flash of images that went through his head. It was strange, since he didn't know Runa in the main reality, but he for some reason didn't really care, instead, he focused somewhat on what Max asked Novikova, and despite never having met her in the real world, he realized that he had the answer to his question. "Well my head feels like it's about to explode honestly," he said, responding to Novikova's question. "She has Dimensional Energy Perception as a power, so when she looks at a person she can see a whole bunch of alternate realities... Could explain why she was able to do that. Also not sure how I know that considering the fact that I have never met her... And uh, thanks for the jacket, in any reality I am used to the heat and don't care for the cold at all..." he responded to Max, despite living years in New York in the real world, he still wasn't too used to the cold.

Klara wasn't really paying any attention to what the others were saying about alternate realities, she was more focused also on the fact that Max had essentially just insulted her. Max would be able to see her pull out her own sling ring, identical to the one that Runa was using to keep open the portal from Australia, and she quickly whirled her hands around and a portal opened up underneath Max, sending him falling through. His own portal he had opened shut when he fell through, and now he'd find himself continuously falling.

"Okay, okay, that's enough," Hawkeye said, shaking his head a bit. "You've made your point."

"He insulted me!"

"And you made your point."

"...Fine, but if he insults me again I'm going to drop him from 100,000 feet and watch him hit the ground," she grumbled, before she used magic again to bring Max back. It would have felt like he had been falling for about 10 minutes, and unfortunately he didn't hit the ground very gracefully. Instead what happened was he basically did a belly flop onto the ground, his nose hitting the floor with a loud crack as it hit. Hawkeye didn’t make a comment. He knew Klara was cruel and he didn’t expect his words to change that.

"Klara, be nice okay?" Alex commented, walking over to all of the commotion, before glancing around at the group. "So, what's this about some weird reality stuff, since that guy mentioned it before," he said, nodding his head towards Max.

Klara shot another glare at Max before looking over at Runa, "Come through the portal Runa and close it, you'll tire yourself out too much if you keep it open much longer, and I wouldn't mind talking a little bit with you."

"Oh, Hawkeye, Jade got back a little while ago. We can almost ensure that the King is going to make some sort of move to try and draw us out or something, because of what happened earlier. So what's the plan?"

Hawkeye nodded, thinking for a moment. He then eyed the newcomers. “We make our move first. Tomorrow, we storm the Palace.”

Jack was looking at his brother with a confused expression on his face. "Once again, what the hell are you talking about Casper? That makes absolutely no sense. Fairly sure you mean Lexi and she's sound asleep right now. Are you sure you are okay? Since you are continuously making absolutely no sense whatsoever..." he said to his brother, a bit concerned about why the hell he'd be talking like that, Lexi was his niece, and for some weird reason he seemed to be acting like he didn't know her at all.

"I'm fine Bobbi, honestly I've been hit with a whole lot worse," Jack said with a slight shrug, before looking back at Casper. His brother was starting to worry him a little bit when it came to this whole situation. Why was he asking questions that made no sense? "And like hell I actually believe you when you say you are okay Casper..."

“Lock her up.” Gambit responded simply to the group, ignoring Bobbi's outburst that had been directed towards him. The Guild did have some holding cells down the hallways a bit, off at the far end of their base. It was like that so that they wouldn't have to deal with any of their prisoners accidentally overhearing things that the Guild was planning.

Mary was being relatively quiet right now as a ghost, figuring it was probably best not to say too much to Casper at the moment. She wasn't too sure what she could even do at the moment, but figured that it might be best to be quiet now.

Queen Valda

Location: The Marram Marshes

"A dragon boat? Sounds a bit strange to me, but then again, I suppose anything is possible... So it seems like the boat can obviously fly... Do you think that perchance the boat could take us back to the Castle? Since obviously we can't go back the way that we came, it's been destroyed for whatever reason, I am still unsure what even caused that earthquake of sorts... We need to see about getting back to the Castle, to see if anyone knows what's going on, or what has happened..." Valda said simply to her sister as the boat rose up into the air.

Hearing her sister's words about the Dragon Boat made her curious as to how the boat ended up way out here, or if perhaps the boat trying to rise from the ground is what caused the earth to split. It did not matter to her very much, as she glanced over and saw Titan as the boat rose from the ground. She just waved slightly at him as they reached the surface, "Hey, how's it going there?" she asked him with a slight smile.

Bruce Banner

Location: The Palace - The Entrance Hall (E7-E5)
Skills: Cosmic Manipulation

Bruce glanced over, noticing Amarantha there as he walked forward towards the vampires, staring right at them. Fire flashed across his eyes as he glared at them. "I have no idea where the Queen may be, however there is something else you should know, and that is that I don't take too kindly to a bunch of vampires deciding to show up and try and murder everyone... Sure, I'm used to dead creatures of sorts, but namely because I have a little sister who can actually raise the dead. So, I think it's time for you all to burn right now," he said somewhat calmly, before he held his hand out and his staff Gandr appeared in his hand now.

There was swirling fire now, that danced along the staff itself. He hadn't really had to deal too much with this many enemies outside, so it hadn't called for him pulling out the staff. However, now that there were multiple enemies, as well as someone beside him who he didn't really want to injure, it definitely warranted a bit more control for sure. With the fire surrounding him, he sent a flame blast flying right at the vampires, and he managed to take out half of them with one hit, killing Philomena, Vivian, Nostro, Lex, Prudence, and Indie.

"Now, anyone else want to cause problems?" he asked the remaining vampires.

Sylvi the Bard

Location: The Palace Courtyard - D6 -> D5
Skills: Jack of All Trades

Hearing Tate's words, she fell silent, unsure of what to really say about everything. She was a vampire, and there wasn't anything that they could do about it. Sylvi wasn't sure what she could do right now, but something about Myth's words struck a cord with her. Her mind started racing as she realized why Myth had said what she had said to Tate. The woman was afraid that she'd hurt him, or others, and Sylvi was still fighting back tears as she looked at Tate and backed away slowly a little ways from them.

"I-I-I don't want to hurt anyone," she said softly, her eyes now flickering somewhat towards the fire now. She knew what Tate's original thought had been about everything, and a small part of her was wondering if she should have just gone along with it, but she wasn't too sure about it still. She looked back at Tate, looking him in the eyes again, "I really don't want to hurt anyone..." she repeated softly, saying nothing else about it.

Lance Banner

"Then you can stay behind if you want to... Honestly they are kind of annoying me, a lot, and act like we can't do anything... I've never been afraid of the Hulk, or anyone like the Hulk, so this sort of thing, well... I'm honestly fine going after them and trying to fight them... You can stay behind if you want to, but I'm going outside to see what is going on and try and help out... Your choice Guin," Lance said, before he walked away from her.

This wasn't really just about what Hawkeye, Black Widow and Captain America had said. This was also about what Sterns had essentially done, he was mad, and sure, Lance was pretty sure he had inherited anger problems, but this was something else. Recreating the Hulk in any form is a bad idea, and someone purposefully doing that was just messed up. There wasn't much he could even think to do, all he knew was that he wanted to get back up onto the roof and beat the crap out of Sterns himself.

Demetria Clarke

Location: Serval Industries - Ballroom

Sapphire never was one to really care about appearances, how she looked, or how others viewed her. Honestly their opinions were dumb in her mind, so it didn't really matter to her too much what she wore to the party. She did at least decide to dress somewhat nicely, or more nicely then her usual appearance. She was wearing a dark blue skirt, shirt, a trench coat of sorts with a pair of black boots, it was nicer then her typical jeans and leather outfit, and yet it still allowed her easy movement to use her powers or being in a combat situation.

The party was under way, everything had been going for about an hour now, (so it's been 3 hours since they were sitting around a table talking), and honestly she was getting more then a bit bored being surrounded by all of these rich people. As if there wasn't anything else that could possibly put her in a bad mood, it was being surrounded by a bunch of people who probably thought like Watts and felt like they were better then everyone else.

The group had the doors covered fairly well, so no one was easily going to cause trouble or try and enter without being seen. This was helpful at least, it meant that they could keep everyone in one place and hopefully stop anyone from ripping each other apart, especially considering both Tony Stark and Hank Pym were notorious for not getting along and they were both in attendance. Bella before the party would have been told don't use force unless absolutely necessary to break up a fight if one broke out, while Wesley would have simply received a word about the team leader job from Psylocke who just mentioned that Gardner would have to approve whoever they chose since she'd have to deal with whoever it was more often.

Things seemed to be going fairly well, that is, before they got a call over their communications from a certain engineer who was currently sneaking into Gardner's office.

Andrew Rossi

Location: Serval Industries - Gardner's Office

Andrew didn't really say much to Watts or the others after it was essentially decided what they needed to do, and he had immediately gone to work on repairing his suit. He was not too thrilled that Watts had decided to say something about the fact that his suit hadn't been working before, and that hadn't exactly been entirely accurate. Andrew had only been having problems keeping the power running without the thing completely short circuiting, he hadn't wanted to risk being stuck shrunk down! The entire thing wasn't broken, but now that it was repaired, he didn't have to worry about anything like that. "I really don't like this idea too much... But oh well... Nothing I can do about it now," he muttered to himself before he shrunk down and took off into the air.

The plan for him was to shift back to his normal size once inside, but this way would at least make it so that no one would question him or see him enter the office itself. That definitely was a necessity, especially since Gardner at the moment was out at the party, so the room was empty. He snuck in through the air vents, finding his way to her office, and once out of the vents, he landed on the ground and went back to his normal size again. "Alright... Let's see what sort of things we can find here..."

Standing up straight, he decided to just start with the files on her desk, one was labelled strangely, that much was obvious. No Electronic Copies was what the label said, and this was a bit odd, as usually you would have electronic copies of just about any file you'd have in existence. Opening it up, he saw some weird design for what could only be really described as a weapon of sorts, or something like that. Reading through the file, he noted the capabilities of the machine. The ability to transfer someone's mind into another person's body, but essentially killing the person who was having someone else's mind into them. They'd essentially be brain dead in theory, or potentially just have everything about them suppressed, he wasn't too sure what the outcome of that would be. From the looks of things, the machine hadn't actually been created yet, so that was a good thing.

"...What the hell is Gardner up to?" he muttered to himself, a part of his brain was trying to rationalize it as just something for a client of Serval, but that didn't make any sense really. As this sort of thing would have been sent down to the engineering lab to be built, so why would she keep it hidden? He set the file down before what sounded almost like a whirlwind outside of the door caught his attention. Without hesitating, Andrew immediately shrunk back down and flew up into the vent again. Just in time to avoid being seen by the person who came rushing into the room in a gust of wind.

It was Pietro Maximoff.

"Wow, not much of a place here really... To think this place is a high tech and weapons manufacturing company... You'd think that they'd have enough money to get their CEO a decent office. It would be a shame if someone were to rip it apart... Need to see if they've got any info on the thingy that we are after though... Any extra bit helps!" he said gleefully, before he started speeding around the office, ripping things apart looking for anything useful. Andrew was definitely glad he had gotten up into the vents when he did.

"Uh guys? We might have a bit of a problem..." Andrew said over the communication system, everyone else would be able to hear him too. He pulled up a display on his arm just in time to see an alarm go off in the lab. "Okay, make that a really big problem. And before anyone says anything it had nothing to do with me breaking into Gardner's office, but we have a few unexpected guests here..."

"What's going on?" Sapphire's voice immediately responded.

"Looks like the Maximoff twins are after something here at Serval, considering the fact that I just barely managed to avoid Quicksilver finding me..."

"Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, here?" Psylocke's voice chimed in the instant he had mentioned the pair.

"Yeah, well, fairly certain it is both of them, I mean I only see Quicksilver at the moment here in Gardner's office, and he's ripping the place to shreds... But an alarm went off up in the Engineering Lab, so odds are that's where his sister is if I had to guess. I'm going to head that way now, see if I can figure out what they're after, since I honestly think Quicksilver is just having fun destroying things in Gardner's office at the moment," Andrew said, before he started flying through the vents to reach the Engineering Lab hopefully.

Penance just listened to the words coming from those around them. It was definitely something that needed to be discussed, all things considering, but there was no way that they could do anything if they couldn't see a thing. Without a light source, they were essentially sitting ducks, and it was getting more then just a little bit annoying. She didn't really want to move too much, otherwise she felt like she'd knock someone else over who was attempting to find something, anything, that could be used to create a light source. Though a fire inside of a house in a not so controlled area likely was going to end badly.

"If you can shed some light in here quickly it would be appreciated, as for the door, we might not need too much in order to be able to open it or unlock. Would help if we could see something as mentioned before, however if we can see in here, I might be able to get the door open," she said simply in response to the others, shrugging slightly despite no one else really being able to see her. Penance didn't care much to see about explaining what it is that she'd do to try and open the door, deciding to just let the others potentially speculate about it. This wasn't how she had expected things to be in this little attic room, but unfortunately it was the best that they could ask for really. At least right now it didn't seem like they had anyone around to cause even more problems for them or something.

Andrew Rossi and Demetria Clarke

Location:Briefing Room

Andrew fell silent at that, and he was starting to get more then a little annoyed by everyone constantly teasing him over a few things. Then again, he could somewhat understand it, however now was not the time for Watts' usual remarks basically calling him an idiot. There were other things that needed to be done, namely what their job was. Sure, no one had flat out accused Gardner of murder, but it was clear that more then a few people had that sort of thinking based on what they were saying.

"Well mes amis, it's simple - while we are guardin' this event, someone can go and search her office, see what skeletons are in her closet," Gambit suggested, shuffling his cards.

"I still don't really think that we should worry too much about Gardner, she doesn't seem like the type of person who would do something like that anyway."

"Well I like the suggestion all things considering, I say we should go along with that suggestion," Sapphire chimed in. "I mean, even if she didn't kill Snow, if the CEO is hiding secrets from us then don't you think we ought to know about them? That sort of thing gets irritating!"

"If it makes everyone feel better, then sure, we can at least see what we can find out, since let's be honest, I don't think anyone here actually knows much about who Gardner is. So, the question remains, who should be the one to go in, since think about it, Gardner is going to be at the party and expects all of us to be there, so it would have to be someone who wouldn't easily be missed."

"How about the guy who can shrink and grow? I mean honestly, no brainer there. Since Gardner knows probably a lot about all of us, so odds are she definitely knows about his history with a few people who are going to be there. So he can just use the excuse of wanting to not cause trouble and sneak out that way." Sapphire pointed out, before nodding her head towards Andrew.

"I don't really know about this..."

"Actually, I agree with her. Since from the sound of it, the only other person who might be able to easily search the office is him," Rogue added, pointing at Watts, "But sounds like he'd obviously be missin' since he wants to talk to a lot of other people clearly."

"Not to mention Andrew, sounds like you probably are one of the few people in this room who aren't really bias against her either."

"I'm still not sure this is a good idea... I mean yeah, I can easily get in there without being seen, but still, what exactly am I suppose to say if I oh I don't know, get caught?"

"Just say you are wanting to avoid Hank Pym!"

"...Alright fine... I'll do it if it makes everyone feel better... I still don't think there is anything weird about Gardner, I mean sure, she did just toss us off the deep end, but still... She's probably just overwhelmed by everything, but since you people want someone to sneak into her office, then fine... I'll do it just so we can end this conversation."

"Now with that out of the way, back to business. There are two main entrance points into the area from the staircases it seems, and a few from the elevators, so, shouldn't be too difficult for us to keep an eye out from those points as well as keep an eye on the guests, since as many people have pointed out, there is a mixture of people here who likely are going to cause a fight... So keep an eye out for anyone who looks like they might be starting to stir up trouble. Got it?" Psylocke said, before looking up at Belladonna. "We were discussing the best way to ensure that there are no problems during the event, but you are quite correct. We all have a party to go to."

Sapphire

Location: The Mutant Underground - Washington D.C. Station
Skills N/A

Sapphire was still not too thrilled about the newbies essentially crashing the Underground over night. It was a pain, and the fact that no one questioned anything was stupid to her. At least on this mission the people who actually were with the Underground outnumbered the newbies. Not by much, but it was definitely something in her mind. She already had decided that she didn't like Glimpse, and Tome she hadn't really gotten to know, so she didn't have an opinion of him too much. However she didn't trust him too much unless he proved to her otherwise.

Hearing Veil call her name, she walked over to where the group was forming. "Sure, I'll drive, then hopefully we'll get there in one piece. But remind me to teach you how to drive one of these days Veil, it is definitely a useful skill to have no matter what you do in the world," she said to her friend with a bit of a laugh. She was perfectly fine driving, since she knew perfectly well how Havok drove, and she did not want to get in a car with someone she still didn't full trust driving if avoidable.

Jack Theriot

Location: Morlock Tunnels
Skills: N/A

"Casper... As far as I know, you are almost always bored, so I don't think you being bored right now is because of what's going on around you. I think you'll be perfectly fine, okay?" Jack said to his brother, shaking his head somewhat at him. He didn't exactly trust Casper to be alone for more then a few seconds considering how often he tended to wander. It was definitely problematic for him, considering the fact that when Jack had told him to stay put the day before he had gone off somewhere else.

He wasn't too thrilled about Sunshine getting that brand on her face, in his mind she was a bit too young to be able to make that choice. Jack didn't say anything to Sunshine, or to the others about it, considering he had already attempted to talk people out of it. They knew how he felt about the entire thing, so that wasn't exactly helping this for him. Part of him wanted to see about walking away for a few minutes or something, since he didn't really want to be there for this entire thing.

Marygold Isley

Location: Camp Half-Blood - Dining Pavilion -> Demeter Cabin

"Well, I probably will, nothing better to do anyway," she said with a smile to her sister before she heard what the teams were for the game. Mary frowned slightly, making a little bit of a weird face when she heard what team she was on and then let out a sigh before looking over at Eva. "Yeah, sounds like we are, that's such a bummer! But I guess we have to make the most of what we've got, and even though I feel like the odds are against us, hopefully our team will win."

With that last sentence, Mary got up from where she was as well, before making her way towards her cabin to gear up. Of course she was going to be participating in the game, sure she didn't care much for the team that she was stuck on, but still, it was better then not playing at all for some dumb reason. She went into the cabin and grabbed her sword, she was perfectly fine not using any real magical weapons that shifted to other items, after all, she basically could make whatever she wanted out of the plants around her, there wasn't really a need to. Once she had her sword and gear, she headed out again, ready to go play the game. And hopefully beat the Athena Cabin's team.

Frederick Flynn

Location: Serval Industries First Floor (F12 -> E4)
Skills: N/A

Flynn hadn't expected the girl's powers to act that way, it was obvious she was trying to hurt them, but he had not expect there to be a shield of green smoke around her. There was something that he noticed now though, and it was not something he would have expected. "...She used to be one of the Morlocks, that brand she has, they generally did that for anyone without a physical mutation who joined there community would get a brand like that... Usually the group wasn't much of a threat unless you attacked them first or threatened their community..."

This was definitely not a situation he wanted to think about. The fact that they essentially probably just caused the death of a kid or something. They were supposed to basically be helping people still in a way, but considering how screwy the world had become that sort of thinking was long gone for the most part. Now though that there was the thought that they might be able to fix everything and stop the world from ever becoming like this (if the scientist people actually managed to pull it off) then in the long run it wouldn't really matter, but still, he felt really bad for the kid.
