Did you know that Dante's inferno is called a divine comedy because things work out for the protagonist? Back in the day, the only two genres were comedy and drama. The only difference was that in a comedy, the protagonist is better off at the end, and a drama is the opposite. So that's why a story about going through hell can still be considered a comedy, even if it's not funny.

Name:
Broken Promise, BP, Boss

Age:
Old enough to know better, too young to care. (that is to say 30's)

Preferred RPs:
I Prefer to make my own, but will occasionally join something if it looks interesting. I'll join just about anything so long as it isn’t overly edgy/sweet, though it's rare for me to do. I don't do 1x1s too often either.

Preferred Roles:
I tend to play adorable characters everyone wants to befriend or proper assholes everyone wants to stay away from. I try not to play moral paragons or prime evils.

RP Conquests:
I've completed quite a few RP's off site, but most of them are on private forums or have simply been lost to the ravages of server crashes. As for stuff here, I'm sure everyone who sees me post in the off topic sections has seen me find an excuse to talk about Danganronpa: Tower of Carnage. It's a project that took over 4 years to complete and I feel pride not only for myself but all the wonderful people who helped make it enjoyable during its run. Re: Zero: The High Council Is technically my first, but it was just something I kind of took over and ended up ending the story after just six months. It finished, but eh...

Last RP I finished was Symphony of Espers which turned out pretty good.

RP's in progress:
For some reason I can't seem to stay away from Ari's magical girl RP, even if I'm not sure why I'm still in it.

As for my own projects, I'm doing Symphony on High to continue the gigachad adventures of the espers in Pax Septimus.

RP Graveyard:
I've been pretty fortunate on this forum. I think I joined one when I first came on the site that didn't really do anything, and there are a few 1x1 things that didn't go anywhere. It's disappointing when an RP ends before it can be finished, but I've come to look at them as learning experiences.

And then there's that london magical girl RP, and that dark magical girl RP. I think I'm done joining magical girl RPs for a while.

Other interests:
Videos
I watch a lot of educational videos on youtube. Usually as research for something I’m writing or purely because a topic interests me. I like channels like Tier Zoo and Daryl Talks Games, and I’ll also watch things like Critical Drinker or Literature Devil to deepen my understanding of story telling. Though I also like memes and jokes, to which I’ll find myself watching stuff like Sseth, but usually find myself surfing through meme videos. I gotta work on that.

Games
I have a rather long history of playing virtually every platformer to come into existence during the indie boom, as well as quite a few other indie games. I’ve played Meatboy, Binding of Issac, Gunvolt, Cuphead, Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt, Classic Metroid, Warcraft 3, Final Fantasy 7,8, and 14, Left 4 Dead, Shantae, Celeste, Danganronpa, God Eater, the list goes on. What I’ve played is kind of all over the place. I don’t play many games these days, I tend to pick things that look interesting and go on a decent steam sale.

Painting Minis
I do this in moderation. Otherwise, it's a pretty expensive hobby to start...

Music
I listen to everything, save most country/rap songs. I have too many favorites to name.

Personality:
Not one to take life or the internet too seriously. Is only serious about writing well and having a good time.

People to Insult:
Dalton is a Dingus.

I think river forgot Briza's request

Anyway, I'd request something else, but he just made me these. And I've grown sort of attached to them.
Seems I was wrong. Corrected then.

”Oh yea, and that's Henry Masson, the five foot pianist. Yes, I did say that right, you pervs.” Monokuma sighed. ”Introducing you all is exausting. I'm going to go hibernate. Wake me up when they start killing, okay? But here, for those of you that don't already have them, here are your hand books.” and then the bear dropped into the floor.

At this point, Emily very badly wanted to just walk away from the whole scene. Calvin at least seemed a bit more relaxed. Well, as relaxed as one could be in this situation. ”Sorry everyone, you just caught us at a bad time.” Emily did her best to smile. ”I think most of us are going to head straight for bed, but for those of you who aren't tired, I'll brew us something to drink. Cyrus is pretty good at catching people up on the situation.” She placed a hand on her chest. ”My name is Emily. I'm... A care taker.”

Bliss had gone straight to bed, but she wasn't able to sleep. She couldn't get her eyes closed. All the nanny was able to do was look at the ceiling and relive the trial in her mind, over and over again.

Someone used her to commit suicide.

Someone used her to commit murder.

And this wasn't even the first time she had done something like this. Her brother, Mercy, and Felix. Bliss could see their shapes shifting in the darkness. She was sure they all wanted revenge, and she wouldn't close her eyes for even a second. That night.

CHAPTER 4: THE FOUNDING OF INFINITE TALENT

Monokuma theater ti-yawwwwwwwwwn!

Formulas are great aren't they? Without formulas, we wouldn't have the internet, electricity, clean water diapers, mood adjusting medication, guns, poison, war, and despair.

But sometimes formulas can be a bad thing. Like when you turn on the TV to watch your favorite shows. It's a great tool for writers because it lets them easily create new content. But for the viewers, it can come across as lazy and boring.

Perhaps there's a lesson to be learned here. Maybe formulas don't benefit everyone. Mercy Evergreen, I wonder if your formula helped anyone...

”This is going to be... My best breakfast ever!” Emily was making breakfast by herself in the kitchen. She wore a “kiss the cook” apron that was a bit small for her broad chest. Apparently Bliss didn't sleep too well, but reassured Emily that after she got a bit more sleep, she would like to make everyone lunch. ”The best breakfast that anyone has ever had!” She swayed her hips side to side as she turned over several slices of bacon. ”Because Emily's gunna make it like everyone's momma makes it!” She flipped a pancake without looking at it. ”Lots of love, lots of love!” Breakfast wasn't very hard to make, But Bliss was definitely better at prepping the kitchen to make everyone breakfast. The clock was ticking, and Emily only had a few plates of food ready. She doubted everyone would be hungry, but since the killing game had well over 20 people now, it was very likely that not everyone would be able to come and eat right away. At this rate, she wouldn't be done for another hour or so. ”I've just gotta do what I can.” she whispered to herself.
Interested. Will post a character sheet in a bit.
Another thing you could do is put some of the smaller bits of information side by side So it could go something like....

Age ○ Race ○ Gender
Height ○ Weight ○ Build
Eyes ○ Hair ○ Skin tone

And then all filled out it would look like...

35 ○ Lizzard ○ Female
6'2 ○ 225 ○ Athletic
Yellow ○ None ○ Scales

or you could leave the keys in, as I suspect eye and hair color would get mixed up otherwise. But you get the idea, you can save some space this way if you hate tall sheets.
@Bartimaeus The character sheet serves it's purpose, provided you want to know all that information. Most arena fighters are concerned with how your character fights. Things like who they are married to, who/what they want to have sex with, and what their fears are probably aren't important enough to warrant their own section. Some people will find fault with having so many hiders. I heard they are annoying to click on with mobile devices. If you want the character sheet to be smaller so that they can be more easily browsed in the character tab, you could just lump everything inside one hider. People are going to be most interested in what your character can do in combat, which is another reason not to keep that stuff in hiders. Not only that, but it's at the very bottom of the sheet, which is typically where you want your miscellaneous/unimportant stuff. I would consider simplifying the appearance and social behavior section to just a space where one can write a paragraph. If you really want everyone to know your character is married to a lesbian lizard goddess, you can include that in their history/bio section, which would be pretty low on the sheet.

From an aesthetic standpoint, it presents the information it wishes to convey. It's by no means the fanciest, but some people get so into making a CS that it's almost impossible to fill out and even harder to read once all the information is in place. Needless to say, that's kind of the opposite of what you want a CS to do.

If someone wanted to fight me in arena or have me fill this out before joining an RP, I wouldn't be deterred. It's not a bad sheet.

Weaving through Justine's matrix of projectiles wasn't something anyone could describe as easy. Her projectiles were numerous, sometimes fired projectiles of their own, and didn't even all come from Justine's direction. But Sue was a secret touhou was a nimble flier. She wasn't bound to the floor, so she had the option to fly over and under her attacks. It was fortunate that Justine was spreading out her attacks so much. Sue would hate to be the sole target of her barrage.

The former familiar needed to have extreme situational awareness to make sure she avoided Justine's projectiles. Fortunately the projectiles distorted the air just enough for Sue to notice. But she wasn't leaving it all to her magical senses. She needed to keep her ears and eyes peeled as well. Perhaps that's why she heard Sil struggling behind her. Sue was still new to her powers, and hadn't learned to tell who was where yet. Even so, the giant marble floor was falling through the sky. Trying to feel their exact location would be difficult even for an experienced magical girl. She couldn't take her eyes off of Justine, so she could only assume Sil was being attacked by Janet. While the elimination of Justine was certainly high on Sue's goals, she also didn't want to lose anyone else. Deni, Amber, she had killed enough people already.

Sue opened her wings and floated backwards with the projectiles, all while evading them as she descended towards the falling platform. At this point Sue was able to properly gauge the situation. As it turned out, Sil was simply going to become an unwilling projectile from one of her allies. If Sue wasn't already furious, this would have angered her further. It would have been preferable if she could keep advancing on Justine's position, especially since she knew Helga was now advancing solo. But seeing Sil positioned like that, accepting her roll as a projectile. She didn't look willing, but it gave Sue an idea. She snatched Sil out of the air and hugged her against her waist. Scout was strong, but throwing struggling people as projectiles wasn't quite in the cards for her. Sue flew herself and Sil behind Alex's barrier to give everyone a quick message.

”I can't steady the platform anymore. Our opponent is too strong.” Sue had been releasing her hold on the falling floor for some time now, but it was going to start falling much faster now that Sue was releasing her full magical grip on it. ”We're going to kill Justine before you reach the ocean. Just survive until then.” And then Sue blasted off. She now had all of her magic to work with. She was going to funnel as much as she could to charging up another attack, but still needed to expend her energy keeping herself afloat. Sue had to keep Sil up too, but that shouldn't be a problem now that she wasn't trying to maintain the floor. ”Here's the deal, Shade.” Justine's projectiles had caught up with Sue again, forcing her to swerve around them. ”Once I get close enough, I'm going to blast you in Justine's direction. So keep your shape as aerodynamic and possible.” She corkscrewed between two large spheres of energy before hovering over a laser. ”And we're not debating this.” Sue was gaining altitude, even going as far as trying to fly over Justine. Just to keep the vampire on her toes, she briefly released an arm on Sil's waist to fire a weak thunder shot at Justine. It might gain the unwanted ire of the vampire, but anything that might help her friends survive was worth trying.

Yeesh, what was Sue smoking? Even Tonya was having a hard time dodging so many projectiles. Fortunately, Alexander's barrier created a bit of cover that she could use. She totally understood why Lily would use him as a pocket healer, even if the notion was one Tonya found a bit crude.
I am curious though... How high can one's luck go?

Name: Shamrock Sally

Appearance:

Apparently, she's a loli with the biggest rack in existence, so she gets +1 luck. Her uniform doesn't matter. (5 Luck so far)

Specialization: Empathic and psych both add +2 (7 luck so far)

Weapon: Doesn't matter, appears to be a handgun though. (7 luck so far)

Power: #1: Shouldn't matter, as nothing adds to Luck.

Perks: You can pick up to three perks from the support side of the table that add to luck. You could also use a copper coin to snag one additional perk, but there's no point since you'll get a point spending the coin on Luck anyway. Also, sally doesn't look like a boy, so I guess she has closure, fated, and a way out.

(10 luck so far)

Patron: Mystical might lets you add +1 to any magical stat, which is Magic or Luck. Because magical girls get a free benefit, she can take this despite working for beacon. (11 luck so far)

Sally probably avoided death, but another magical girl took her place. So she has an extra silver coin. Her 5 silver coins and 4 bronze coins allow her to add 14 more points to Luck. (25 luck so far)

If she really wanted to, she could use her gold coin on luck. but that's sacrilege! (29 luck so far)

So I stand corrected. It is actually possible to get really close with a vanilla magical girl. A monster girl could hit 30+ luck by simply taking a second magic type that added to luck. But do you really want to spend a gold coin on more luck? seems like a waste...
