After making her statement, she'd paused for a moment before she turned on her heel with a bit of dramatic flourish before leaving the strange room behind. All she wanted was to get back home. Besides, she had work that night and she did want to visit her family. Fortunately, she didn't tell them of her intentions. If she did, she was sure her older brother would demand he come with her if he couldn't talk her out of it.

Besides, having to return empty-handed to an expectant/hopeful family would be a HUGE blow to her ego.

It was as she was leaving that she heard the sound of footsteps coming up from behind her. She heard them speak and introduce themselves but didn't respond yet. And it was right as she emerged from the temple that she whirled to face them. Taking a moment, she let her eyes roam over him in curiosity. The last area they were in was a bit dark after the artifact burst so she didn't get a good look at anyone. But Ariah? She liked.

Finally bringing her eyes back up to his face, she responded.

"Oh, I know who you are. You know, the whole strange mind... thing. Regardless, it's a true pleasure. I am Mila." She could hear the charm he added to his voice to try and 'sweet-talk' her. Having done the same thing in her own line of work, she wasn't surprised by it and could pick up on it pretty well. It was... cute.

Motioning for him to follow, she took off in the direction of her boat without looking behind her. He would follow.
@LylaOh, okay. Gotcha. I have been gone for the past, like, 3 days so I'll get on that when I finish responding to some stuff!

Used typically for Death Note RP's but can be used for others.
Mila

Now, Mila wasn't one for waltzing into dangerous situations without a plan or... period, really. Sure, she enjoyed adventure more than the average person but she prided herself on having a pretty strong self-preservation instinct AND for knowing when to move on and take her winnings and/or losses.

So... when she ended up traveling to some remote island by boat to try and get some mystical artifact that may not exist only to THEN find it and THEN have it burst into sparks and THEN find herself able to hear the thoughts of those around them and them hear hers?

*Deep mental breath*

Yes, every instinct was telling her to run. To leave the ruins and hop on that boat and leave. She would return to her home, wallow in self-pity for about a half-hour and then get ready for work. But, for some reason or another, instead of leaving... she hesitated by the doorway. She watched the others try and figure out a situation to get back to their homes. (Most herding towards the girl who was closest to the artifact, she noted with some amusement. Although an annoying voice in the back of her mind told her the 'girl' was named Sophia.)

She briefly thought of offering a ride back but thought against it, figuring Sophia (There, she acknowledged it.) would be able to play hero and give them a ride back. Prepared to take her leave, she was distracted when Nina (For crying out loud...) grew upset for some reason or another, getting a stern tone with Ariah and possibly Kairos. (Oh, forget it...)

She's apparently worried about losing her ride back to the mainlands.

Even though she wanted to just leave this strangeness behind, she decided to play nice... this once. Stepping forward once more as the mediator, she spoke.

"To take some of the attention of Sophia over here... if anyone needs a ride, I'll also offer transportation. However, once you're on land, you're on your own. I'm also heading to the coast of Otadica so... keep that in mind."

She said all this in a casual manner, almost careless even. If she received no confirmations, it was really no matter to her. She'd be able to go home either way. Besides, at least then no one could say she hadn't been generous in her offering.
@LylaOh gods, I feel bad. I didn't know you were waiting on me, fuck. I'll get something up within the hour. Sorry!
