He’s a guy. Don’t mind the long hair and androgynous figure. Some fellas are just born pretty. Zane’ll still call himself handsome though.

Ethnicity:
Hungarian, apparently. You wouldn’t know it though.

Sexuality:
That’s for Zane to know. And his past and present significant others, obviously. Still, that’s for Zane.

Appearance:
Tall, kinda skinny with long limbs and not too much meat on him. He isn't bony or anything like that, just definitely not an imposing figure. He has a strong grip, though, with calloused knuckles and long fingers. His skin is lightly toned and for the most part unblemished.

He has tired, shadowy kinds of eyes with brown irises and a hazy gaze. His face is well put together with strong features that don’t go out of their way to call your attention to them. Partially covering that face is an unruly mop of dirty blonde hair that extends to just past the shoulders.

Personality:
Zane likes to keep things easy. He tries to be a mellow sort of guy. He doesn’t always succeed, obviously, but, he tries. Or whatever. Doesn't always work out like that and then maybe things get ugly and that's not really that great. So yeah, Zane likes to take it easy. Stay mellow.

In layman's terms, Zane is not a very happy person, but he tries to be. Probably not always in very intelligent or responsible ways, but what about it? Sue him.

Though he definitely prefers quieter more intimate settings, Zane is just as comfortable bumping and grinding in a crowded rave as he is swapping stories and laughing with a small group gathered around a campfire. He loves to be social, keeps him engaged and attentive. And distracted from his own head.

He knows the difference between right and wrong, and it isn't that he doesn't care, he just seems to have a somewhat different definition than some people do of what constitutes said right and wrong behavior. Shoplifting bits and pieces from a convenience store? So what? Cheating on your girlfriend? Go to hell. That's how Zane sees things. Whether he's a good person or a bad person isn't really too much of a concern to him anyways. He's got bigger things to worry about, and all that.

Just, when he says that he takes care of his friends, don't doubt it for a second. You know.

Drifting off into space when nothing much is going on.

Zane likes a lot of stuff. Why not? Though, you know, some things stand out to him. Like the sound of rain. And cloudy days. A ton of music, he doesn't really dislike any of it. Not picky. Eating. Definitely eating too. Food is good, yeah? One of his favorite things, obviously, is friendly strangers. Or friendly people in general. That's always nice.

Dislikes:
Nah. Not much bothers Zane and not much gets him worked up. Some things do, obviously. Like wind. Wind is the worst. Gets his hair all mussed up. Also rain. It sounds nice but he hates getting wet. You know. Confrontation isn't great either. Conflict in general, really. Sometimes you gotta deal with that stuff though. Or whatever.

@The Survivor If it's all the same to you, I'd rather have my introduction post as a solo one, and then once we've made contact we could probably do a collab for ease of conversation.

Either way, I think we're waiting for @Opposition to set the scene for us. In the meantime, chit chats are nice.

Honestly I'm a little concerned that Kane is going to end up being the obvious black sheep of this whole deal. I mean, I wrote the character accepting that possibility (cause I do like me some group friction) but hopefully one or two folks might take to him just a little bit.

Also, big kudos to you for writing a character that's charismatic and flashy but actually generally good-hearted, unlike a lot of the types that you see in various forms of media that are either somewhat or totally slimy and self serving.

@The Survivor I'm pretty interested to see the interactions between Kane and Phineas play out. It seems like they both want the same thing, bettering the city, but both have very different ideas of what that better is and how to go about achieving it.
