History: Shannon grew up in a rural Texas town as Vance. Ever since Vance was little he always knew he was different than other boys his age. He loved dresses and makeup while the other boys liked football and cars. As he got older he knew he had to suppress those thoughts. But at the age of 14 Vance attempted suicide because he couldn't live the lie anymore. After intense therapy he finally came out of the closet and began his transition into Shannon.

When his friends found out they were not thrilled, trying to goad Vance into killing himself again. His parents decided to move as soon as Vance finished becoming Shannon. Two years later Shannon and family finally arrived at Pineridge, the now young woman still has some deep trust issues, but being the newest girl she still made a couple of friends. She is third in class.

Cassandra woke up a little after one in the afternoon. She grabbed the bottle from last night and took a swing to wake her up. Looking out the window she had a good view of Vermillion City's port. Her Haunter came floating over to her with a wide smile on it's face.

"Yeah I know buddy, it's early for me too. I'ma grab a shower and a bite to eat than we have to move on to the next gig." She said to the ghostly pokemon as she made her way to the shower. "And don't touch the bottle, last time you did we lost all our money."

Two hours later

Cassandra slung her small bag over her shoulder, she had to figure a way to land a record deal, and she was getting just desperate to try the gimmick that guy a few weeks ago suggested. But she didn't want to be a singing trainer, that was a last ditch effort. She left Vermillion City behind, it was time to visit home, in Saffron.

Background: Cassandra grew up on the outskirts of Saffron City, her father was sent to prison for running a Team Rocket smuggling operation. She spent most of her time out on Route 8 playing with wild pokemon. When she was 16 she got a job at Celadons casino as a singer. Shortly after her 18th birthday, police would raid the place tying it to Team Rocket and arresting all staff. When the officers found out who her father was they charged her as an accessory, assuming she had followed in her father's footsteps. After her case was dismissed, Cass left home trying to escape her father's sordid past.

During her travels she came across a man attacking and torturing a Ghastly, Cass stepped in chased off the attacker. The Ghastly decided to join her and became her first pokemon, and is hardly found in it's pokeball. Soon after they managed to capture a few more pokemon, using Cass's singing to help pay for their travels.
