The flesh on his arms suddenly regained energy, as her muscles tensed all of a sudden.

"You're awake."

Acion heard her request to let her down, saying that she could walk. The winged boy wasn't sure whether or not she could really do it, but apparently, the fact that her muscles twitched the moment she opened her eyes proved that she was still capable of using it properly.

Complying to her words, he let her down, his six wings spread out again. She could really indeed walk, so it wasn't quite terrible injury it seemed. But the fact that she slammed her shoulder to the corner of the wall and then offered to carry the blind girl...maybe was a little bit overboard. Acion noticed from the beginning her dislocated shoulder, and that was no joking business. Did she really have to endure the pain because of something she felt really obliged to do? Who can say, but if he could really lend her a hand, he would...

"Are you sure you can carry her? Your arm is injured."

'And now what?'

The earlier battle failed to entertain him. His opponent was too weak, although he did show passion in his moves. It's just wasn't enough.

Garuda waited inside the arena for a few more moments, before leaving, after seeing that the students weren't willing to provide him or anyone else a duel. If they didn't want to, then the Natron mage couldn't help it. He was bored.

Perhaps a book or two would entertain him.

After all, books are the gate to the world, a path to greatness, to knowledge. Knowledge is a mysterious power. Many desired for it, but only a few was able to grasp it. But when a mind is capable enough, the power he possessed could never be measured by any sort of system. And those who knew such a power, knew to bow to it. Only a few would have the courage, or foolishness, to resist.

That was what Garuda yearned for.

Power.

Given enough time, any man may master the physical. With enough knowledge, any man may become wise. But only a true warrior, a true champion, is capable of mastering both.

Garuda entered the library quietly, careful not to bother anyone who was busy in their activities. He had the manner not to. But because of the fact that he was bulky in size, being a muscular man he was, when he began walking in tight places, collision with one another was pretty much inevitable.

Which was something that just happened.

Garuda suddenly bumped into a young man, a blonde young man with a somewhat Eastern style of clothing. Turning around to look at him, so that he could apologize, Garuda realized that the clothes he was wearing originated from the far Eastern country of Abazin. And it wasn't common clothing. The word royal came to his mind immediately, seeing how well-dressed he was.

Garuda's interests in this guy was sparked, but he wasn't the one to quickly forget his manner.

"Are you from Abazin? My apologies, for the earlier display of clumsiness."

I was gonna post. However, I'm not very sure who to interact with, so I'll wait for a few others to post. I might approach Lyvir, but Idk just yet

"Of course."

This might cause him to be late for the next elective, but who cares. They are electives. It may or may not be necessary for his journey of justice.

"Let's get you there, shall we?"

Acion bended his knees as he crouched next to Jojo, placing his two arms beneath her, one below the knee joints, and one on her back. Using all his might, he tried to stand up. The seemingly simple task proved to be more difficult than he had expected.

Man, she was heavy.

Probably even heavier than Acion himself.

He was able to stand up, but that was pretty much thanks to him trying to do the standing procedure of a weightlifter. The problem was walking while having her firmly on his hand, without falling over, or causing her to fall face first on the porcelain tile-paved floor. He better not, otherwise it's gonna end in tears. Definitely.

Oh...

'Why not that?'

He had six powerful wings muscles. Why not use it to his advantage? If he could place them beneath his arms for support, then he may be able to do it a lot easier. Not easy, but it would relieve the weigh of her body on his arm muscles. That's it. That's the solution.

Instantly, the wings that were spread out, gradually bent forward. The top wings was then placed nicely beneath his arms, trying not to cut his own limbs with his sharp and hardened feathers. Then came the middle ones. Then the bottom ones. And when all six were in place, he began lifting it, with everything he had. And it worked...

He now managed to walk more properly with this approach. Though this would draw a bit of attention from several curious students.

Acion, with Jojo on his hand, supported by all six angelic steel wings, also walked out of the gym, following Arsenal to the nurse office.

The sound of the alarm coming from inside the simulation chamber knocked Acion from his dreamy state of mind, as he was busy looking for the best equipment for him to use. As he turned towards the sound, the sheer destruction of the chamber was the thing pulling him towards it.

"God..."

What in the world happened there?

The image of the crane and trucks come crashing down onto those at point C of the first exercise suddenly flashed through his mind, reminded by the scene in front of him. Jesus...Is another student attempting to kill one another?

Acion's thoughts were confirmed as he walked closer to the battle arena. Two girls, the apparently blind one and one more, was pretty much on top of each other, battered, beaten up and was barely conscious. Well, it seemed that one was already out, and the other was barely able to hold it any longer.

"This isn't the wrath of God, and yet the sceneries looked no different."

Well, who was he kidding? There were two maidens inside that place who needed help, and as nobody was paying attention, the responsibility was laid onto this winged boy here. It was his duty. Nobody said it personally, but it really was his duty

Acion wasted no time walking to the entrance, and slowly approached the two girls while observing the 'post-apocalyptic' sceneries. Who would have known that every single debris here was done by this two girls right here

"I did not watch your fight, but judging by your current state right now, it appears that you two require a helping hand. To the nurse office."

I've posted. Lol, long one indeed
There was a place where all mages desired to visit.

A place where all wanted to one time capture its view and sight and engrave it deep into the very edge of their memories, but only a few succeeded to.

People knew it by a name:

The Arcanium

It was a promise of power

A glimpse of a new world

A passage of knowledge

A light shining open the future of mortals

But only a few may reach it. Those who dared, and willed to succeed.

Garuda Pacifier

"Time to battle!"

The journey of a thousand miles ended right here.

"The Arcanium..."

The prestigious academy that many desired to attend.

"Indeed it is extraordinary..."

Throughout the orientation, Garuda was taken aback by the sheer size of the school. From the library, to the teacher's hall, to even the specific bathing section. There was absolutely nothing here that could be taken as inconvenient. For the mage to complain of course. But perhaps the most interesting section of the school would be the dueling arena. This would be the place he would be getting along for at least a year here. Of course, along with these conveniences were strict policies regarding the etiquette and usage of these facilities. But Garuda had no problems with it.

After a long walk was the interesting part, the duel arena. No, not the duel part. Their fight was too one-sided, and the fight wasn't enough to show the true power of the combatants, specifically, their flexibility of each duelists. Still, their fighting style, power and mind, he would have to remember it. The most important part of the orientation was the challenge etiquette. Yes, the thing that Garuda would definitely have to keep in mind, since he would be going for many others in this academy.

But he didn't even need to wait long, as he was immediately approached by one student after orientation was over and Garuda returned to the battle arena. He had chocolate brown hair and deep blue eyes that glowed deeply, reflecting a side of him that the uncompassionate would never be able to see: inner determination.

"Hello there. Do you want to spar with me? You look strong..."

'His manner of speech was not very impressive, but who can say the same if his inner will were the same...'

Garuda thought as he glanced up and down his attire. He was wearing the typical mage clothing seen everywhere: a robe that covered from top to bottom.

"Well, your form is certainly less intimidating. But if you had asked, it would be rude of me not to accept it, right?"

Garuda turned to apply for a dueling session, and when he was finished, he turned back to the boy.

"Now, let us proceed. With utmost sincerity, I accept your request."

The two duelists wasted no time taking their position in the field, in two opposite sides to each other, waiting for their opponent and referee to finish their preparation. As the referee beginning their countdown, Garuda began taking stances, his two hands raised in front of him as if he was holding a ball his hands. A rather aggressive stance, comparing to his opponent's: a more defensive and more 'ready-to-cast-spell' kind of posture. Tensions were also raised, but much less comparing to the earlier battle, since most students were busy with their own business.

And then finally...

"Begin!"

Not a second after the signal was called, Garuda charged forward, his two hands burst into red flames, as he quickly closed the distance with the young boy, his countenance fixed firmly with aggressiveness onto his eyes. The boy was caught off-guard, not expecting how fast Garuda was. And he quickly paid the price, as a punch was sent his way. A fiery uppercut to his abdomen. And the fist landed gracefully on its target.

For a brief moment, Garuda thought this might have been a quick and boring fight. But as the boy was sent flying, he quickly regained his balance, planting his feet onto the ground and used frictions to bring the fist's momentum to a stop. After regaining balance, he quickly murmured something, as water began to stimulate around him. It quickly gathered up into a water ball, and was sent to Garuda's way. He certainly had good reactions and a fair common sense, since water countered fire. But such a simple attack would not be enough. Not even close.

Garuda simply dodged to the right to avoid the ball, but as his vision of his opponent was still vague, the boy suddenly appeared right in front of him, his fist raised to attack him. A fist that was made of water, shaped like a drill, and hardened by his magical ability. The fist that found his way on its target as well. An ironic tactic, as Garuda just previously used it against him.

But unlike the previous case, despite having a hardened water drill, the brown-haired boy's physical ability was considerably weak, as Garuda only flinched a bit from his position, and quickly sent a reply to him. Garuda grabbed his arm, the one that was used to attack him, and raised him all the way up, his head matching Garuda's head level, before finally swinging him away from him. This was a lot more hardcore, and a lot more difficult to regain himself.

This was it.

It was the perfect moment to end the match.

With all his might, Garuda focused a part of his energy into his hand, as the natural air flow around him began to change. And then suddenly, a glowing white ball was materialized, hovering a few inches from his hand. Most of the remaining spectators watched in awe at the display of such bizarre magical ability. The ball was only as large as a tennis ball, but it shone like a thousand shooting stars. And its powers...

The Natron particles...

Garuda then threw the ball at the boy. And as he expected it, the boy was unable to retreat from the explosive blast, and was at its mercy. The ball made contact with the ground, and immediately exploded, sending the amount of energy around a ton's worth of force onto the boy. He was sent flying again, and this time was for good. The boy landed at the edge of the arena, his face planted on the ground, as he failed to stand. And once a duelist failed to stand up in a duel...

"Victory is mine."

He said, as he straightened his suit, his countenance not breaking from his adversary. He wasn't worried, as the attack, the power of the blast and landing position was all in his calculation. The guy was ok, though he might need a little bit of time before he could stand.

Garuda simply waited for him to fix himself, before approaching him.

"Be proud warrior, you fought well."

With all the honesty possible. Speaking of raw strength, he was still incapable of becoming his worthy opponent, not even close. Yet, for all that might, he had a good mind, and a determination fairly proven to be adequate. If he continued on this path, he might someday be worthy enough. Perhaps...Hopefully...

With that said, Garuda simply turned away and walked out of the arena. It wasn't exactly a satisfactory fight, but he would make do with it.

Sorry for double post
Unless Shamir is able to get range on Kyvir, it won't be a very fair fight. Shamir is likely to be a lot faster than Kyvir, but Kyvir is pretty light on his feet for the mountain he is. That, plus Shamir is an "Average" swordsman, whereas Kyvir is only alive because he was the best fighter Surthay could produce. Right now, the only people I'm seeing that could take him on would be Alexander, Garuda, or obviously, Isilfarrel.

However, with that all being said, his greatest weakness is his loyalty. Unless ordered to do otherwise by Isilfarrel, he won't attack or get into fights with people. Even if someone picks a fight with him, he will play it defensively and do little actual damage to them, only doing enough to stop them from continuing to attack him.

Garuda might actually befriend both Isilfarrel and Kyvir, since they are both powerful. Though that might depend if they actually show determination in a real duel, which I think only Isilfarrel satisfied it.

Talking about match-ups, it's kind of cool to think about it. Garuda vs Kyvir would be the most exciting, since they are all close-quartered capable, and even powerful in that regards. Garuda excels at midrange, good at close range, but normally cant finish off close, since the ball would inflict damage on himself also (he could actually beat his opponent up with his explosive balls and then finish off close, or just deal with them without the ball, if they aren't that powerful). So a Kyvir vs Garuda would be intense.

Garuda vs Isilfarrel. It would be second most interesting, since it's more calculative than a close up brawl, like how to lure the enemy into the trap, and how much magic will I need kind of thing.

Garuda vs Alexander. Both is a counter to each other, so if one could maintain their advantages, it's a bad day for the other. But who knows.

Against Shamir...well his magical prowess is no match for Garuda, since he's a support kind of magic, while Garuda is a direct combat one, but he can go swordfighting with Garuda. And he can also be creative in his approach, though I don't know how smart he is. So it might not be fair, but if you want to show progression that you have improved, and be the underdog, beating or drawing him in an even match, then I will be willing to go with your demand.

I know I know, Garuda is probably the most powerful character speaking generally, but that's the whole idea of this character: be a rival. So that initially weaker characters can improve and beat him. If there aren't any powerful characters and anyone's the same, it will be boring. And it may be fun writing his prideful characteristics

EDIT: I think I will write a fight myself as an opening post, against an NPC student I create, to give a general idea of his style of battling
Great! Hopefully I can get my first post up soon. Currently, I'm busy with real life stuff, so if anyone wants to interact with my character before my first post, you can. Probably I'll compose one tonight or tomorrow afternoon
