Andras

The arrow skimmed awfully close to Andras. Her eyes watered with the rushing of air and the thought of what might have happened if she had so much as twitched in the wrong direction. 'W-Wolf sure is confident in his aim...' Andras briefly gave an pained smile.

Setting aside her concerns about being ventilated, Andras prepared to spring into action. She had never really taken any self-defense classes, but she knew that if your kidnapper only has one arm it tends to be easier to evade their grasp. As the doll's arm shattered with the impact, Andras tried to leverage herself out of the hold she was in, but suddenly-

A car had swerved right into the fray. The sound of screeching tires and the smell of burnt rubber rushed between Andras and her captor. The door flung open, and a masked woman driver beckoned from within.

"...The fallen one?!" Andras's mind focused, recovering from her horrible farce of a few seconds ago. A new challenger had appeared. A masked yet beautiful girl descended, claiming to be a fallen one. Andras's eye narrowed. "A fallen one is but an imitation of true infernal power. Inferior to that of a Demon."

Andras's reply was almost by reflex. She had written lots of poetry on the difference between fallen angels and demons, so she had her thoughts organized on the topic already. 'But still, who is this? Is she perhaps related to this new kidnapping attempt? Nobody else would have such timing. She must be the getaway driver.'

"A true fallen one, I see. Trying to drag the Demon Lady back to the Abyss...?" Andras gave a low chuckle. At the same time, she dug in her heels and tried to squirm out of the doll's grasp. "A fair plan. But neither the forces of Heaven nor Hell can lay claim to the Root!"
Andras

'Huh? She's actually going to accept my help? Maybe I misju-'

Taken by surprise while in her own thoughts, Andras was grabbed by someone she couldn't see. Well, that wasn't entirely true, because she could see a hand, that was now covering her mouth. Another hand grabbed her arm, and was trying to lead her away from the area. Andras's voice was weak - both from the sudden shock of being grabbed and also from the residual fear of being verbally assaulted, so for a moment she feared that Vera was going to not even notice her been taken away.

Luckily, Vera noticed. Calling out to Wolf, he sprang into action. Very quickly.

Andras was mildly terrified of Wolf's sudden and violent attack. Even though she knew he was helping her, seeing him bring down such an attack that close to her was enough to make her legs weak. Which didn't help the girl (Golem? Construct? Andras wasn't entirely sure what to classify them as after seeing one shatter) who was trying to drag her off, but Andras wasn't really in a helping mood with that. Andras was trying to struggle out but she was kept in the grip. She didn't have any spells that she could cast hands-free, so she just had to rely on her friends.

And what friends they were. Even William was cutting a rather heroic figure in Andras's eyes. But one thing really stood out to Andras. Something Vera said. "Your sympathy can wait! Isn't she your friend or some shit?"

Andras couldn't help but sniffle. Her vision was becoming blurry. She had expected Wolf to do something (Maybe not immediately and swiftly pound the assailant into the ground, admittedly) but even Vera was trying to motivate Wolf to fight harder to help her. She got the name wrong, but this was a huge step. She cared enough to say something. Andras had unfairly pegged her as a rotten girl, but she had some good in her. "Y-You guys..." Andras cried, imagining the fate that may have befallen her if she didn't have them around. Andras cursed her inability to cover her face with her hands, because she was definitely crying now.

'What are you doing?! Demons don't cry because they're overwhelmed by how amazing their friends are! Say something cool!' A voice in Andras's mind called out.

Trying to steady her breathing and voice, Andras tried again. "Y-You all are t-truly worthy-" Andras's voice cracked, and she had to pause. "-of b-being warriors at my s-side..."

The words echoed within Andras's mind. Each echo sounded dumber than the last. 'Forget the kidnapping. I'm going to die from embarrassment.'
Working on a character idea. I'll post it if it comes to fruition.
I've got some tentative interest.
Andras

Andras watched the fight unfold in a span of seconds. To be honest, she was still reeling from Vera's onslaught of words, so when Wolf and Vernon started fighting she wasn't as fast as she wanted to be.

Andras's eye moved between the two fighting boys and the girl who was bleeding on the ground. To the fighters. Back to the girl. 'Is it worth trying to help Vera, or trying to break up this fight...' Andras mentally recalled her available spells. Maybe some spectacle was possible, but considering the power these two were throwing around, it could be a waste entirely. 'I'll save these for if it gets any worse. Which means...'

Andras braced herself slightly before taking off her hood and crouching next to Vera. "How bad is it? Should I take you to the medical staff?" Andras offered a hand to the girl in a show of goodwill.
Andras

Andras heard the call of a familiar voice. She had made it a point to remember as much as she could of her fellow Vigilantes, in case they wanted to start a fruitful friendship. It was a voice Andras knew always came bundled with another one-

"Ooh, I like crazy. Keeps me awake."

Ah, yes, the duo. Andras didn't like it when people were sad, but Wolf and Vera were a pair deal, and Vera was enough for her to keep a respectful distance. Andras put her hoodie up. Maybe it would make her harder to detect.

Of course William goes and tells the entire plan to them. Andras wondered to herself if William ever considered discretion with these kinds of things. 'But I guess that's some of his charm, isn't it?' Andras smirked to herself. To make things stranger, his mother called partway through. Andras didn't deal with William's mother that much, but she knew she was pretty intense. Also, if what she heard was right, insanely strong.

Andras sidled over to Wolf, trying to keep Wolf between her and Vera. "King himself sent you? Is this that important of a job to him?" Andras paused for a moment, then considered her wallet, and added, "Do you know how much this is going to pay?"

She'd feel awkward asking William how much she was getting paid for all this.
Lise

Lise took a fairly uneventful walk to her dorm. If anything, she was fascinated by the surroundings she observed. The manor of hers was dark at night and only lit by electric lamps in certain areas, and only after a young Lise complained and complained about it. To think that something as large as a city could have lights along every street. The only thing detracting from her experience were the so-called pants that she was wearing, which felt strange to her.

Between her ability and the strangely dedicated royal guard that was Andreim, Lise felt plenty safe despite the unfamiliar surroundings. It was only after a fairly long stroll did they come upon the familiar territory of Laurels. Walking through the dorm hallway, they eventually stopped at Lise's room.

Lise handed her room key to a shadow maid and turned to Andreim. "Now, boys aren't allowed in these dorms, so I will quickly return your trousers before anyone notices you're here." With that, she disappeared inside her dorm, the door to her room swinging back but not quite closing.

Lise gingerly tugged at the belt of Andreim's pants, eventually getting it loose. She was unfamiliar with commoner clothing, after all, and it could break if she was not careful. For that reason she even refrained from summoning her shadow servants. Their strength could be regulated, but she couldn't risk an accident. Eventually she managed to loosen the belt and buttons of the pants, and she pushed them down around her ankles.

This was a problem. They were much too long for her, and they seemed to bundle up around the ankles when she was taking them off. As she tried to push them off, she lost her balance, falling right on her butt with a thump. Lise felt a twinge of self-consciousness, despite nobody being present. 'Commoner clothing was supposed to be easier to wear and take off, wasn't it?!'

Outside of the room, Andreim could hear a thump.

Andras

Andras nodded at Ascot's plan but she also spoke up to William afterwards, saying, "I can keep track of any cards that I draw for you, but... I can't stay at Laurels all the time. I have some other engagements that I have to see to."

'Like doing more Vigilante work since I'm about to spend some money on new clothes, for one.' Andras's stomach fluttered slightly at the thought of her wardrobe embarrassing her again. 'Hopefully I can get something done with Brutus soon.'

"Plus, I'm not even a student. Wouldn't that raise some concerns if I stayed around there too much?" Andras grudgingly admitted to herself that she already spent too much time at what is essentially a rival school, but she used the excuse that no other school had a library as expansive as Laurels.
Lise

Lise was taken aback. 'Better clothes? Does he not like my current wardrobe-' Her thoughts stopped as she grabbed Andreim's pants, which she was still wearing. 'Oh.'

"It's too late to buy new clothes, all the stores are closed... We'll have to return to my dorm." Lise nodded to herself, thinking it a fine course of action. She stepped forward confidently, then faltered.

'Where are we again?' Lise was glad she was in front of Andreim, because her cheery expression cracked slightly as she realized that she didn't know where she was at all. She studied the nearby buildings and landmarks, finding nothing familiar. 'How far away are we from Laurels? What path did the limo take to get here? C-Could it be that I'm lost?!' Lise's expression turned from a confident princess to a lost child in a moment.

Regaining her composure once more (something she has had to do rather often since coming to Rhea), she turned back to Andreim, and gestured for him to walk ahead. "Lead the way, Andreim!" She gave a pure smile, hiding her inner shame at being lost.
Aww, no pendulums. I'm guessing that means no Links either?
Lise

Lise let Andreim put the pair of pants on her. She wasn't particularly used to wearing pants, but they were a little large on her anyway, so it wasn't really uncomfortable. As Andreim scooped her up, she clung to him without thinking, her eyes firmly closed. She was just glad that she was being taken out of the nightmare scenario from the other room.

She didn't open her eyes until she felt fresh air on her face. Standing outside of the building, the first thing she opened her eyes to was the stars... And Andreim's face. Despite being clear of the situation, Lise's heart didn't stop thumping. If anything, the current situation seemed to make things worse. 'Could it be that... He's the one making me feel like this?!'

Lise shook her head a little. Though her heart was still racing, it was definitely different than when she was in the presence of the ghost and... flesh monster. She couldn't dwell on it all here. As she regained control of her thoughts, she became more and more aware that Andreim was carrying her. "You can let me down now!" Lise said, slowly regaining her normal princess confidence.
