Back when dinosaurs ruled the Earth, I got started with writing online on the Spore forums. Man, those were the days. We're talking like 12 years ago!

I've been here on and off for almost as long, and have GM'd a bunch of different things to varying success.

I know I've kept you guys waiting for literal months. It's just both chronologically and thematically better if I finish this Slag post with Termite, and preferably also finish the next Murmur post. Both are meant to take place between Xos' temporary retreat and his return which sparks the big confrontation.
I don't mind a new Divinus in the future, but I know that this Divinus still has a lot of life left in it. Its song is not yet sung, and numerous storylines and ideas are far from complete anyway.

I'm just trying to get the idea out there. We move so slowly that this thing would take at the very least a year to close anyways, by my estimates.
I’m gonna go on a hiatus. I just can’t muster motivation to write for Vestec or the things I created here. Maybe I just spread myself too thin, or maybe I’ve just written Vestec for too long. I’m not sure, honestly. I’m don’t know if it’l be permanent or not, but feel free to use Vestec and my creations however you wish (or just murder them all).

I had a really good time writing with you all here, and will remember my times and plots in Divinus fondly. (And, hopefully, make new ones if my motivation comes back.)

You’re all terrific writers and I hope this RP keeps going for a long time.

Xos is gonna kick his ass again

(but i'll let him live!)

In all seriousness I get it, though. I've also been feeling like I've spread my stuff too thin and have been dealing with the same characters for way too long. I still try to get out occasional posts, but at this point I feel inclined to suggest that we consider writing towards a conclusion for this Divinus so that it can have a proper ending as opposed to a slow death. Then we'd be able to start a new one, of course.
Hey, a post. Nice. I'll have to add dealing with Osveril's infestation to Teknall's to-do list.

What's everyone else up to? I was doing a collab with Kho but he's been offline for 12 days now. I should find something else to write in the mean time.

He's alive but burnt out on the post-exam blues.

As in for myself, I have some crappy Slag post in the works with brother Termite. @Antarctic Termite it's your turn on there, by the way.
What, I just randomly guessed the truth?
Pffft, probably was just some dumb ole rainbow djinni.
I would like to continue with the arc where Stog is trying to stomp out the confederation of tribal plains hain that have fortified the big mesa. Following that, I'll try to get more stuff rolling in the Vetros region.

Xos is simmering on the backburner right now. Maybe @Antarctic Termite and I can finally get around to some planned collab shenanigans that have been tying up the Xos plotline. In the meantime we'll just say Xos is taking his sweet time back on Caelum.

Muttonhawk, let's race! You have a significant head start, so you'd better have more Yorum stuff for me by the time I figure out what on Galbar to do with Stog's story trajectory and manage to write it out!
A djinn civil war? Damn, perhaps I should pay more attention to the djinn since that I have a minor character that's a djinn.

Where should I start to catch up on this?

I dunno dude, I feel like I’ve had it going on for pages. Read the summaries if nothing else
@KabenSaal

I'll point out that humans aren't the only species to consider. The hain are more prevalent, both in terms of population and (probably) in terms of peoples' characters that you could interact with.

And then there are the rovaick, the ogres, and the dwarves. The dwarves in particular are in a desperate situation since their kingdom was just overrun by a horde of firedjinn, so perhaps that desperation is an alleyway for the ritual that causes Legio to come about. You could talk to Rainbow about that.

In any case you seem intent on using a human and using that specific ritual, but if you were more flexible with either of those choices you'd have an easier time fitting in somewhere without it feeling forced.
To the Captain of the Guard, a missive from Uklonko, personal scribe of Giwabi:

By decree of the majestic King Giwabi (forever may he live!) who is merciful to all his true subjects and yet terrible to all his enemies, the warlock called Uhulmikown is proclaimed an infidel and traitor. As prescribed by the holy texts, he shall be arrested and condemned to the scorpion pits that their venom may cleanse the evil from his blood. His family compound is to be seized as well, and all those within shall be put to justice too. For one pound of silver his daughters and nieces may be spared, but all others are to put to the scourge and then brined; should they survive for three days following the lashing, they are to be brought to the markets and sold. King Giwabi is charitable, so let any such profits from their sale go towards alms for the poor.
