Bio

Hi.

I'm an Interdiscplinary BA, searching for a job in the current market, and this site has been my introduction to role-play. I prefer medieval and/or sci-fi roleplays and am a fan of Star Trek, Star Wars, RWBY, Fire Emblem Awakening, Superheroes, and Fairy Tail.

Yeah, and while you're doing that, pray to the Goddess that naked Nortiz won't be subjected fully onto the world. My boy did not consider having a second set of clothes today and he had to tear off what he was wearing in order to transform quickly.
Nortiz - Dawn, Mirica

"Black-winged beast!" He called hatefully. "Get down here, or be brought down!"

Nortiz glanced back at the scene. When had a random disturbance involving Laguez been considered important enough to involve mages (even it had involved a destroyed tavern)? Archers, he'd been expecting. Mages though, that was a different thing entirely, especially if the guy had wind magic on him. The raven swooped downwards, aiming to go behind the tallest building around and fly from there until the chase was given up on (not thinking about what could happen if he didn't get away, nope not at all). The guard couldn't be desperate enough yet that they'd destroy property to bring him down. So his best bet was to get out of the mage guy's range and line of sight while avoiding any other guards' attempts to bring him down. If he'd thought to bring a second set of clothes, maybe he could find a place out of sight, change, then attempt to disappear into the crowd, but he'd not imagined this kind of scenario happening today. What he had though was flight and speed. With a little bit of luck, he might still manage to shake off his pursuit, get into clothes, then plot out his next course of action. No way would he willing submit again, even if (when) this made things harder for him.

At the very least, "beast" was a better word than "pet".
And the next gm post is posted!
Black Jack's Roost

Cicero Bladewalker, Dalious, & Gwyneria

Gwyn sighed, collected the dropped off bag, and followed after Cicero as the remnants of the fight continued on around them. One would think that a PIRATE with a price on his head would know something about being discrete. But of course she'd find out that she'd been saddled with two imbeciles (though in very different ways), but the objective right now was to make it back to the ship intact. Since her knight was occupied carrying the lughead around, that left her in need of watching out for threats on the way there. As most of her concentration was taken up though in navigating the main bar fight without injury, she missed a certain observant fellow elf at the bar.

The street the merry band exited onto would have been a typical closed in alleyway if the bright seaside sunshine hadn't shone through. Gwyn's eyes darted around the street, only to consider it a reasonable certainty that they was not anyone nearby. She sighed in relief before asking her companion, "Straight shot to the ship or a more roundabout way? If we have attracted unfortunate attentions, shaking anyone following us off would be the safer bet. However, unless our fearless captain wakes up, we have a high chance of getting lost in this town and attracting attention from other threats we do not want to deal with."
Nylah Aldaos

The barkeep shook his head as he looked at the gold coin. "Unfortunately lass, I don'nae know anything worth a gold coin. I've only been employed here two weeks." He pointed at the group in question as they passed through the remaining barfight. "I've never seen that group before in me life and frankly, those two not unconscious are too conspicuous looking to be regulars to this kind of dive. Look like they're trying too hard to play the part of regular customers, especially with those hoods." Then he pointed towards the other side of the room where a squinty eyed older pirate sat out of the fight, still smoking his pipe. "He's among the oldest regulars here. If anyone knows about Dalious or any of the famous rogues, it'd be Old Deke."

Will Nylah pursue this source of potential info or follow the strange group out of curiosity or gut feeling?
Happy for you to join the party! Nice to have a representative of the three main laguez types.
In the meantime, we could work on what type of character you would want to play.
I'll get onto my post sometime this week.
Nortiz - Dawn, Mirica

Oh no. Soldiers. The raven laguez knew the stories. The heavy soldier fortunately jumped out of his claws as soon as he saw his prince as Nortiz forced his aching wings to fly high and away. The humans would be fine (hopefully the other laguez would be as well as long as she was with the prince). Fellow humans were still viewed with basic civility even if they did seek to help the "half-animals". Any laguez though, especially one caught breaking the new "laws"...

Nortiz struggled to fly faster onwards, desperately hoping they either missed him when they were looking to arrest or didn't have bows. If he escaped this, he could either go back to his original plan or see if they needed help later on. In order to help though, he needed to not fall into their hands. And to do that, he needed to fly.
Back from travels. Debating whether Nortiz would land or try to fly away.
Good to hear.
