Important Backstory Information
Mary Hishamie had a rather unusual pregnancy when she was pregnant with Akiva and his twin sister Camille. Mary would become extremely fatigued very often and for seemingly no reason, then at times she would feel like she was so full of energy she could run a marathon. She would always feel like there was something else in her belly, as opposed to how she thought having children would feel like. She would at times feel like her pregnant belly bump would give off strange heat waves, as if something inside was energized and pumping hard. But the only thing she had in her stomach was children? The reality of it was that at some point early on in her pregnancy Mary had been affected by mysterious mutagens that were leaked into the civilian population. Where exactly? Mary would never find the answer to that question but Akiva guessed since they lived in Tortuga that it could have been several different places, if not in the air itself.
Either way it didn't matter, as Akiva was then affected by the Mutagens and gained a startling power. As he developed more and more into a human baby inside Mary his body changed on a cellular level. After about five months of pregnancy is when the changes started to effect others. Akiva had turned into a human generator and when his body, mind, and powers had developed enough he started to unconsciously draw the newborn energy of Camille and the energy from his mother. At times when he collected too much for his small still developing body, he would discharge energy outwards which is what would give Mary random surges of energy. All this drawing from and discharging hurt Camille and her mother but in different ways. His mother was older than Camille and had more energy to spare, so he drew mightily from his mother. This weakened her incredibly, on the inside even more than outside, and after giving birth to the twins her body and mind would give out. Marys body had taking a beating with the irregular taking and giving of energy, so when her body was no longer hooked up per say to the tiny generator growing inside her her body simply could not work properly anymore. Mary died, but with her children in her arms and a smile on her face. In the end, she thought, it was worth it. Camille on the other hand survived being born but at a cost. Camille's life force was essentially weaker as she born due to Akiva constantly draining her. Her immune system was extremely weak, her muscles would never be as well developed, and overall have several health issues in the years to come.
The father, Verdock, was never the same after the loss of his wife. He tried his best to not place blame, to never make Akiva feel like it was his fault. But there were times, mostly when he had taken to drinking, when he could not hide his anguish. As dark of times as his drunken states were, Akiva and Camille were brought up as best as their father could raise them. They never had much money and always seemed to owe more than made, but they were a peaceful family. With a mountain of debt, a frail sister, and a alcoholic father, Akiva took it upon himself to help make money after he was old enough. Verdock was a better father when the twins were babies because they depended on him so much more than they did when they grew older, and took to drinking heavier after the twins turned eight.
Akiva grew up with his father always speaking of being forgiving and compassionate because life is filled evil but never understood how good and evil could be so hypocritical in themselves. He saw he father be kind to him and be a loving father, but then at a later time be an irresponsible ass. How his sister was always having to be extra careful because of her condition when she herself was a charming and caring human being. So many other examples raced in Akiva's mind whenever he tried to reason what Good was and Evil was. His father made him keep his powers a secret as much as possible from others, saying that in age where people are getting powers there will be guys who will take advantage of them. Better to stay clear of that mess. For most part he did, with his sister helping him at most times. Akiva always felt guilty about Camille and always swore to protect her. It gets difficult though when Camille does things that put herself in danger.
Something odd though is that Akiva learned that his power did not work when trying to heal Camille. For some reason her body would always refuse to accept his energy, doing nothing but numbing whatever bad sensation she was feeling at the moment.
When Akiva was eighteen his father passed away in his sleep. The years of bad drinking and depression simply shortened his life span. Akiva and Camille left their home, being placed at the owners of the insane amount of debt his father had accrued. Though willing to break whatever law they needed to survive, they tried to follow a sort of moral compass. Lines not to be crossed. Akiva felt the strongest, taking his fathers words of compassion to heart, where as Camille was more willing to push Akiva to do what was necessary.

Generator
Akiva is basically a human generator of energy. Due to the experiments he was subjected to his body was now no different than an actual generator in the way that his body creates its own inner energy. His brain gives off the electricity his body needs simply by being on which fuels his body so that he can generate energy. His body has a cell count that is unusually low, and his body has to constantly generate new cells. Akiva can excel his bodies energy creation flow or slow it down, and he can also siphon off the energy given off other people or sources. Using the energy made he can speed up the flow of cells in other people by replacing the energy in that persons body with his own or he could slow down the cell count by siphoning the energy of other people. Using this method he can also overload senses. Using his powers drains not only the energy he makes, but since the energy he makes is what allows him to live, if he were to run out of energy and try to use more than he had it would possibly kill him. His body is constantly generating energy on the count of his low cell count, so not having energy and trying to emit more would cause his organs to shut down and for his body to deteriorate.
- Mercy Touch - Akiva centers creating energy and sending it to his hand or hands, and by touching another person with his hand(s) he can accelerate the healing speed for wounds and illness to mere seconds. The more intense the injury the longer it takes and more energy it cost.
- Ill Intentions - Similar to Mercy Touch except that instead of healing the person Akiva can send his energy into his target and spread his energy throughout their entire body. Too much of this energy will overload his target and start injure them from the inside. If proper contact and concentration is applied then Akiva can target what his energy specifically injures such as destroying their immune system. If contact is broken soon enough then small injuries given will repair themselves
- Conduit - His body is a generator, and using his body he can redirect flows of energy. Type of energy does not matter, but if it is harmful energy it can hurt or even kill him. He can also store energy for a time.
- Maximum Overdrive - This ability only works once a day, can only be used for three minutes, and uses all of his power. When activated Akiva is covered in a thick golden steam that comes from his own body. This is the side effect of his body working as fast it can and producing as much energy as possible. Mercy Touch can be applied without contact, so long as target is within three feet of Akiva. Using Mercy Touch shortens the time MO can be active. While active the Gold steam that is emitted acts a defense of sorts, able to block most energy based attacks, physical attacks can bypass this. This does not count for weapons that are modded with an energy based source, which can be blocked by this ability. After three minutes, Akiva is drained of all energy generated and very fatigued. Used as a final trump card.
Other
Akiva has a basic knowledge of street fighting combatics, lockpicking, quick tactical thinking in high stakes scenarios
(Also I would like to submit an application for a character as this characters sister. She is a non powered person and normally I plan on writing for both of them and my posts would consist of them both in one post. I will make her when this one is accepted. If)
