Lyullia had been considering going over to chat with Marilyn, but the scout - Daelin or something - had beaten her to it. So, instead she decided to go and read her book.

Only to be interrupted by Ilruvae. Sighing, Lyullia closed her book again.
"Yeah, I work with metal. It can get complex, but it's fun and useful."

Lyullia considered following up with a question of her own but she decided against it. She didn't really feel like socialising. At least not yet.
As Lyullia wasn't even part of the game, she didn't have to worry about stopping with playing. Instead, she simply put her book away again as Yvette entered the caravan.

Standing up, Lyullia gave Yvette a polite nod. "Good to meet you, Miss Eridal." Lyullia said, glancing around at the others. She had a feeling that Yvette probably wasn't going to be happy with the fact that her 'colleagues' had been playing a card game.
"I've left my family behind in Marrenfell. They were good people, but ultimately I wanted to go out and do things, not stay in one place forever, so I left for Arcadia."

Closing her book, Lyullia seems lost in thought for a bit. It'd been at least a year since she'd last seen them, and now that she was part of a Caravan she'd be heading back to Marrenfell.

"Perhaps I should visit them if I get the chance, tell them I'm okay, see how they've been doing."
Lyullia sighs as Daelin pulls out a pack of cards, and instead pulls a book out of her bag.

"Sorry, but I'll pass on the cards. I don't know how to play cards and I'd much rather read a book instead, so maybe some other time."

Sitting down somewhere nearby, Lyullia starts reading. The books she'd taken with her were mostly informative, but she'd also taken a novel with her just in case she got really bored, just like now.
"I understand that, and to be fair if I was threatened enough I probably wouldn't hesitate, but I would rather not fight fights that could be avoided by diplomacy or by simply not being a jerk."

Sighing, Lyullia shrugged.

"As for why I became a Knight, it basically was the job that I came across early on that seemed good enough, and I didn't really bother to look further. That being said, my magic is rather limited to me being able to create only metal, so I'd probably be better off as a blacksmith or something rather than something else for a mage."
After taking a quick look at her own hands - they hadn't struck her as worker's hand's per say - before answering Noru.

"Well, you got that right. I'm indeed from Marrenfall, travelled here a year or so ago to find more books to read. Ended up becoming a Knight because I quite liked the prospect of not starving. And now I'm here, in a cart, with you guys. Feeling rather unqualified because while I can make things, I'd rather not kill things even if we have to."
After taking a quick look around at all the available bunks, Lyullia decides to settle for one of the bunks on the left wall, specifically the bottom right one.

"Well, what sort of duties are there anyway Captain? Do you plan on simply assigning us, or do we get to choose?"

Still a bit scared, Lui hides behind the tree, cautiously peeking out from behind it. "Are you really just going to take a nap here, within sight of her?"

Lui had little trust in the Witch. She lived inside a skull after all! And skulls are quite definitely quite scary and dangerous! And she just told everyone to enter a catacomb!

Truth be told, Lui didn't really know for sure what a catacomb is, but it sounded like an unpleasant place to be in.

@Zyngard, @ArkmageddonCat

Pouting, Nona hops off of the skull she's sitting on. "You're no fun, you know that? Live a little, you've got a limited lifespan, and spending all of it sitting under a tree is a waste of what precious little time you have."

"Anyway, tell me a bit about yourself. And preferably the others too. I'd like to know just who I've gotten myself involved with."

Turning her head, Nona looks at the knight who had hid himself in the bushes.

"And you can come out, Mr. Knightguy, hiding won't do you much good, especially not when you hide within something... flammable."

As the group slowly but surely prepares to start on gathering their courage to proceed to contemplating to enter the catacombs, a low rumbling noise slowly but surely draws closer, and soon the source comes into view.

A stampeding horde of strange beasts, almost like massive bears though clearly undead and covered in vines, is approaching their group. Though their intent is hard to discover - are they here to fight, or are they fleeing from something - the amount of creatures is a threat of it's own. Easily outnumbering the group, the stampeding horde quickly approaches. Waiting too long is sure to result in trampling - or worse.

Now if only there was some sort of structure to take shelter in...
"Seven Days until we get back huh? Guess it ain't that bad. But I'll have to agree with the Captain that I'd much prefer to avoid anything bigger than this cart, so you can go off to fight those giant creatures while we leave you behind."

Lyullia sighed. The fact that the trip would take only a week was a bit comforting, as she really didn't like the prospect of spending ages out in the wilderness in this cart, though there was still one part of the mission that was bothering her.

"I must say though, I'm assuming that 'Apprehending Lok'Sha' is a metaphor for getting rid of them in general? I don't see a way to keep prisoners in here after all."
Welcome new person! I hope you have fun here!
