Lots of weird stuff. He can infuse it into himself or into things around him as a power boost or to control it, he can make auras around himself or in an area from it, or just use it to attack or curse someone. Different deaths create different ectoplasm, which change his powers to have a variety of strange effects. For instance, an attack using Cold Wind ectoplasm, harvested from a death from exposure or a sky burial, is an icy attack that can inflict frostbite.
Kind of. Here's my concept then: a character who can manipulate ectoplasm, the ethereal psuedo-matter left behind as a resonance of death. As a result he has powers that resemble necromancy but aren't truly, and is cast out of "decent" magical society and has taken refuge with Dark Shadow.
I have a quick question, why are Dark Shadow members still restricted from "forbidden powers?" Which, themselves, are quite ill-defined. Like I have no idea what Rune Magic is.

Asking primarily because I have an idea for a character that interacts with ghosts/the dead and while that could ostensibly be considered necromancy I don't think it's anything worth banning as I currently envision it.
I could be interested, depending on how things go.
I would be down to clown. Been trying to scratch my superhero itch for a while now.
Hello, been having a very busy week on an impromptu vacation. Dropping in to say that you can move on without me, I might drop in again later if it's feasible.
Sounds good, I like it. I think a little radiotherapy is in order for our hydra friend.
I might try a crack at this. How would an alien psychic (Starfire expy) go over?
@Blackstripe My point was that my character only sounds smiliar if you're being reductive. As I'm really not planning him doing any performing IC he would be more like "hip hop celebrity who is secretly a demigod pharaoh from thousands of years in the past." That's about as different as I can make it without tearing out the foundation of the idea, which I don't think is as reasonable a suggestion as you might think.

@DC The Dragon It's actually my firm intention to have an interesting antagonist for the younger characters. So Virgil could end up seeing my character roll up with his posse, be like "Damn this dude is a has-been, his music sucks and his fashion line is ugly," and then turn around and he's 10 feet tall, made of solid gold, and has scarabs pouring out of his eyes and mouth.
@BlackstripeYes...? Anyway it would only be a conflict because "musician that's secretly magic" almost completely encapsulates Karen's chatacter. Mine would have quite a lot going on comparatively.

But if it concerns you that much I can focus on the other idea.
