Jen heard the question and smiled. "I better know, my Dad works there! From here it's that way." she said pointing towards a slightly taller and more protected building. She sighed. "I wish we weren't forced to go there. I mean, most of us aren't a threat unless were criminally active, but that's everybody, not just mutants. It's sad."

Jentoi looked at the now handsomely dressed Quinn with wide yellow eyes and a blush. Her hands started twisting her tail as she stuttered. "Oh, y-you d-d-don't have t-to do that. Sss-ince your n-nicsse about i-it, I-I guesss s-sso." and she quickly took Liz into the other room. Liz started to chuckle quietly. "Now look at what you did!" Snickering, Liz retorted "I didn't do anything, plus you might like spending time with him." Jen just stood there, pulling at her frills. "Ooohhh...okay I give in..." and she walked back out. She then put her cowl back over her head and gestured to the door. "Shall we?"

@Beeve Di returned upstairs and saw Marrie putting a lot of sugar in another cup of tea. She walked over and stopped Marie. "I think that's enough sugar Missy. You don't want to get sick, do you?" she said with nurturing authority. She let go and phased through the counter, stopping in front of Marie. She crossed her arms and looked at her worriedly. "I know it's your stress food, but you should really control yourself. This reminds me a lot of when you were younger, no taller than my waist. You would try sneak a cookie and I would stop you right when you attempted to. The look on your face was so cute!" she said reminiscing. She then came back to earth and started at Marrie with a sad smile. "Then when the proper time for deserts came around and I would sneak you an extra one. Especially on a bad day." she said and grabbed the sugar. "Marie, please at least attempt to control yourself. I know you are mature in the eyes off humans and see us as children,
but your like a little sister to me. I've always watched out for you. Please remember that next time you decide to get a sugar high." she said with worry on her face.

Jentoi's face scales seem to flash the color behind her. She smiled sheepishly at Quinn's gesture. "I wouldn't call me a lady, I'm nothing special." Her tail swayed betraying her thoughts of the subject. He's flirty it seems. Well, he is kinda handsome- NO! Bad Jen! No thoughts like that! She then got herself more controlled, but again she blushed and her tail swayed. "Please don't do any noble gestures, their not necessary." she said putting her arms behind her.
Liz snickered. "Flirting Mr. Whitfoot? She's not that easy..." she stopped, then Jen noticed Liz glaring at her. "...On second thought maybe she is." Jen's jaw dropped and her eyes widened. "Hey! I am not easy!" She was fuming at her friends accusation. Liz laughed, finishing a stitch. She then whispered into Quinn's ear. "...Shes quite easy. Just keep flattering her. If your interested in the lizard." "I-sss- heard that-sss-! I sssee your going to make thisss a big deal-sss-!" she hissed, her teeth showing past her scaly lips. Liz giggled. "Looksss like your hissssing again! Haha!"

She heard the boy of wood and her friend say hi. She giggled at the boy getting nice clothes yet looking like a tree. She decided to wait for her friend and talk to the boy. "I didn't expect anyone to be here this early, let alone another mutant. My names Jentoi, but call me Jen. I've only heard of one person with the tree mutation in this city, so I assume you're name is Quinn, yesss?" she said purposely putting her tongue out playfully. She went over to him and lifted slightly wagged her tail while holding her hand out and taking off her cowl. The Tailor's interior was darker than outside, so it was tolerable, but she still squinted slightly. "So am I right?" she said holding her hand to shake.

*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*

A slim tail came out of the covers and pressed the alarm clock's button. The room was dark, but the yellow eyes at the foot of the bed could see fine. The blue covers lifted, revealing a young women, but lizard like in appearance. She swirled around, getting on her knees and stretching with a rattling sound. She slumped and scratched behind her frills. She got up and put some shorts and small shirt on. Then rapping a cowl around her head. She braced herself and opened the door letting a lot of light inside the dark room. She walked down the stairs with smell of fruit, bacon, eggs and strawberry pancakes heavy in the air. "Hey Mom! Dad already out?" she said behind the shade of the cowl. Her Mom jumped at the squeak of her daughter. "Honey! You scared the hell out of me! I thought you'd be asleep a little longer, so I figured prepare breakfast. As to your father, yeah, he went to the lab and he took some of your scales as well." Jen sighed heavily. "He always does that. Why can't he just stop and be happy with how I am..." she said putting on sunglasses and letting the cowl hang on her back. "Your father wants you to be happy without being treated like vermin. Even if he is going about it the wrong way." she said handing her daughter a plate of cut fruit, 2 boiled eggs, and a stack of 3 pancakes. Jen licked her lips with her snake-ish tongue. "Thanks Mom...I guess he is a case of the wrong things for the right reasons." and she slurped the boiled eggs up with her tongue. Her mom laughed. "Table manners little lady!"
After her breakfast, Jentoi put her cowl back on and grabbed her satchel. "By Mom, I'm going to the tailor's, I'll be back around eight." "Okay! But avoid the new-to-town-ers! You can't be too careful!" and she went out the door. She waved to the people she's known for years on the way and entered the shop her friend owned. She opened the door and went to the back. "Hey Liz!"

Noticing the key he got, she quickly went up to him and sighed. "Looks like you'll deal with the true menace of our deranged little family. I'll visit, but just remember to carry a cross or something. I don't want to lose another human friend to that bastard." and she stuck her head through the floor. "You here me asshole? Don't torment him! He's my human!
Or I swear on all that is unholy and foul I'll twist your insides and make you squeal like a pig!" She then noticed the writing in jam on the wall. "Volky, you do know they're not children right? And I'm pretty sure they won't be scared, they'll probably laugh their asses off." and she completely shifted down and nudged him. "You going soft. I like it." and she bear hugged him before floating off.
