Plot Preview
I used to be a horror fan, I used to idolize writers like Stephen King for their morbid creations. I used to live a normal life, I used to scoff at Twilight and Stephanie Meyers. Vampires didn’t fall in love with humans and they most certainly didn’t sparkle like a disco ball. Seriously, I wonder if still to this day Robert Patterson still finds glitter in unimaginable places. I used to be cold, keeping to myself to avoid being hurt by those around me. That all changed when we moved to the middle of nowhere in the state of Texas. My parents were excited to start up a farm, buying a ranch and insisting that they’d buy me that horse that I wanted when I was 7 years old. That’s where I met him; we got along so well but he was so off, I just figured it was because he was bad at socializing or something. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect what would happen, the world I was thrust into unwillingly. I wish I could unlearn what I know now and I wish that Stephanie Meyers interpretation was right. Vampires are terrifying, we walk in day and night.
General Plot
My character is a high school senior while your character is a 500 year old vampire posing as a recent graduate. There are several directions to take this in, which you can choose from and we can build upon.
1.) Your character is from a prestigious vampire coven and is looking to branch off, making a coven of their own. Your character meets mine at the local dinner, deciding to get to know her before he decides to turn her. With or without her consent doesn’t matter to him, at least in the beginning as they’ll have an eternity together anyways. My character eventually sees your character in the act of feeding after a few weeks of hanging out on and off, exposing his identity which is against vampire law. So he reluctantly turns her, though my character is from a long line of warlocks on her fathers side being the first girl born into their lineage. Due to this her turning process is slowed down drastically, going from an hours time to a month. The plot will then revolve around them learning more about one another’s heritage, getting to know one another better and dealing with all the emotions between them.
2.) Flip the plot on its head and the roles are reversed as far as gender.
3.) My character is interested in the occult but doesn’t put a lot of faith into it. Accidentally she casts a mark of death upon herself, a sort of beacon for vampires to come and drink her dry. Your character is the first vampire to see the beacon, rushing to her as soon as they can only to find out that this girl looks exactly like your characters former flame. Your character wanted to give her ancestor the life she deserved, a life alive and that meant giving her up in the end. He regretted that choice as he lost touch with her and soon no longer knew where she was. My character is the spitting image of the woman he lost and he vows to protect her as he will not lose her again. The plot will be heavier due to adult themes such as gore, violence and themes of mental health. While it will have its fluffy moments this plot will put them through the ringer before they get there. More will be discussed in private message.
