Current It's been a long time, RPGuild. I hope you're all well.

Bio

HI THERE~!

Thank you for visiting my profile!

You can call me Destiny. I am a 26-year-old pansexual woman from the USA who has been roleplaying since 2007. I got my start on a Kingdom Hearts fan-forum, and now here I am! My roleplaying interests include slice-of-life, romance, drama, fantasy, and anime fandom. Did I mention I am a HUGE otaku? :D

I write at a high-casual/advanced level as far as the amount of content I write per-post, but I'm not into flowery language most of the time. My writing is very simple, with a lot of the focus being on the characters and how their thoughts and feelings are developing. Realism is the name of my game! This stems from the fact that, when I am not roleplaying or slaving away for a large technology conglomerate at my day job, I am working on plays and films as a professional actress. With this being my passion, it's quite literally my job to pick apart each character's brain to find the motivation behind their words and actions. I'm just saying, that kind of obsession shows in my writing.

For my partners, I mostly do 1x1 RPs unless a group really catches my eye. I expect 2-3 paragraphs per post and prefer those who can respond at least once a day. Original stories catch my eye more than fandoms, but I don't rule anything out until I've tried it- trust me, if something's not working I'll let you know. I do not write smut, but if it is story-driven I will consider 18+. I'm really not picky; these are just guidelines for how to *guarantee* I will love our RP! I've been surprised before!

A fair warning in advance: I'm also a little crazy. I am diagnosed with Anxiety and Depression, so if I am feeling off I may just stop responding. My mental health does come first. Rest assured, I will pick up the pieces and clear my head enough to reply soon. I use my writing as an outlet, so I can never stay away more than a couple of days. That being said, my Guild partners are my family. Y'all have helped me through the worst times of my life and continue to remind me why I'm still alive on this Earth. So just know that I am here to do the same for any of you, even if we've just met. :)

Anywho, if this sounds like your thing then shoot me a PM! I swear I'm friendly, albeit a little strange, and I don't bite (hard)!

@OliveYou Ahaha I was hoping the crying would make Minkyu uncomfortable.He's so cute! <3
Mari gave a tiny bow of thanks as she took the tissue from Minkyu, feeling too choked up to muster a response. Everyone here was so kind. It felt wrong to get her hopes up, but she really hoped to be able to work with all of them! The environment seemed very welcoming, and it would be very fun to wear cat ears every day! The ones her interviewer wore actually helped to ease her nerves a bit. Quietly, she blew her running nose into the tissue and sniffled once again. "T-Thank you..." She murmured. Now that she was beginning to calm down, he seemed rather uncomfortable. She mentally smacked herself for crying, understanding that was why he felt that way. I don't know how to handle someone who's crying, either... Gah, I'm so stupid!

Even though the young barista hurried off, he did still seem rather pleased. It was almost cute the way he had perked up, before. Even with her crying, this overall felt like it went very well! "T-Thank you again for the interview!" She managed to sputter out as she shot to her feet. Mari bowed deeply as he left and then stood there awkwardly, for a moment. I, uh... I guess I should go, now? It was over, right? He had said they would contact her that evening. So, quietly, she wiped her eyes dry and walked back out into the main lobby.

The pink-haired woman seemed preoccupied dealing with a customer, so she would not intrude. Instead, she gave an awkward wave toward the dining room, for whoever might be looking, not anyone in particular, before slipping out the front door. Her heart felt full, and she practically hummed with happiness on the way home. I think even if I don't end up working there, I would want to be a customer... A cat cafe! It was even cuter than I imagined!
@OliveYou Works for me! ^.^
Is this still going?? :(
Macy had found her way to her feet the moment Kris approached her, having seen the glimmer in her eye. The young mage was bloodthirsty, but not blind- she knew that the ex-princess was up to something. Her own muscles twitched from the proximity alone, so she knew that no good would come of whatever she was scheming. She had taken a share of food that seemed proper; now she wanted to be left alone. Her gaze was effectively drawn from Arguth, but the small pouch of food had remained on the ground as her hands already contained both her rapier, coated with a fresh paint of dried blood, and her dagger. When had she drawn them? The young woman could not remember. Her mind was too clouded by thoughts of Kris- what her dagger would feel like with the point pressed into the supple skin of her neck... She was close enough to see the beautiful red come pouring from her jugular...

Macy froze at the sight of Scar's dagger. She had not even realized herself taking a single step forward. This was getting dangerous. Macy did not wish to hurt her friends, but she could not contain the urge any longer. Scar now appealed to her as a fun challenge - a chase for good prey - and Kris had her title to make the kill so satisfying. Her hands clasped her weapons so tightly that her knuckles were white. Scar's dagger was the only thing holding her back, and she thought through three or four different scenarios where she might disarm him and satisfy this practically painful need. The look in her eyes was wild, and her breathing had become heavy as she bit her lip. Even the slight pain couldn't hold her back any longer- it was too late. I... I can't wait, anymore...

Just then, something in the air made her stand up from her lowered stance, where she had been prepared to lunge and attack. The atmosphere had shifted, become heavy, and her attention was drawn to the rather large man walking towards her. His steps were heavy, his armor still calling to her as a challenge, but there was something else... A sound? Like bombs going off, each step sent a shiver up her spine. He had such a presence in the room, she wondered if this were even real. A dream, perhaps? Maybe Scar had already knocked her out. The fire she saw glimmered in her eyes, and without meaning to she began to giggle as she looked at him. She was at her limit, it seemed to make her nearly go mad. Still, Macy saw this exactly for what it was- an invitation. The word screamed in her mind, loud and clear, and though the others could not hear it she knew it was a calling she could not refuse. Arguth stood before her, his stomach just begging to be ripped open.

What could she do? Her body convulsed, and she sent a sort of panicked look to Scar- one that begged him to take her out. This newcomer did not know what he was doing. He had not experienced her losing control, before. Scar needed to stop her, before they made an enemy of this guy. Whether or not the fox was able to was a more difficult question, but she felt frantic. There was nothing she could do to prevent what he was calling for. Closing her eyes, she let out a scream, loud and blood-curdling, as she tried with all of her strength to resist... before she lunged forward.

The steel ripped through the flesh of his stomach with such a satisfying noise! It sounded like bells to her, and a warm feeling flooded through her entire being. But oh no, one slice wasn't enough. Having come at him with all of her force, she now twisted the blade and pulled it back out, only to thrust it deep into his stomach once more. Over and over. Again and again. Until she was satisfied, she continued to rip and pull and slice. Macy herself had no ill will for him, but his strength egged her to continue as long as she was able, blood flying and pooling around them. It was a gruesome sight, and through it all she let out a maniacal laugh, her face filled with delight.

Slowly but surely, she grew tired, and with her energy the need to cut drained from her body. Her strikes became slower, and slower, and the joy flitted from her face. The last blow she dealt him was the weakest one- no more than a poke, really, before she stumbled back. Her weapons dropped from her hands, now covered in red, and the red liquid dripped from her hands to show that it was over. She no longer had anything to hold back, but she did not feel satisfied. Rather, her expression was twisted into one of pain, and regret at what she had done, as tears streamed down her face to mix with the blood that was not her own. Her mind filled with thoughts of her friend from long ago, taken too soon, and all she could do was cry at the pain she had brought once again. Macy was not one to show emotion, so this moment would be the first her comrades had seen her truly upset. Her shoulders bobbed with the weight of her actions, as all she could do was cry and stare at her mistake, like a child. What have I done...?
Sorry for the delay...!
@OliveYou

Mari perked up a bit when Minkyu mentioned these kinds of characters were really popular. "R-Really?" She didn't watch a ton of anime, herself, but if that was true then maybe she really would be able to do this job! His positivity about her lack of skills could have been seen as just being polite, but the young woman was a bit naive when it came to these sorts of things. She was happy he felt that she would have a place at the cafe, though from the way he spoke she could tell he wouldn't be the one making the decision. It was all a bit strange, to her, the way things were ran... Still, he seemed very kind.

I know I really just need any job, but... I would like for it to be here. Mari was very quick to make decisions like this, and her eyes sparkled when he said that he would put in a good word for her. "Y-You would really do that for me?" She asked him, the rays of innocence in her practically blinding. Her hands moved to take the notebook, slowly, and she wrote down her contact info. This felt like a positive thing. Thank goodness! Her parents had said she didn't need to worry, and that work wasn't something she was suited for yet, but here she was... in an interview. And they were going to say it went well!

As she thought about it, a wave of relief washed over her, and without meaning to tears streamed down her cheeks and she gave small little hiccups as her shoulders bobbed. She hadn't meant to cry, but she was just so happy. "T-Thank you f-for being s-so n-n-nice to m-me..." She managed to squeak out, wiping at her eyes a bit. This wasn't the promise of a job, by any means, but Mari felt very reassured by Minkyu. Sniffling, she wiped her eyes and gave him a bright smile. "I-I am so happy I came here, today...!"
Macy was relieved that Hawke seemed to understand her intent, once again - she hated having to say more than was absolutely necessary, and now more than ever she just wanted to keep herself separate from those around her. She was also thankful that Scar was nearby, as he had dealt with her bloodlust before and was the only one of their group not only strong enough to defend against it, but also knowledgeable enough about it to know how to handle her when she was like this. With him keeping a close eye, like he was doing, she trusted that she would not be able to harm any of their party, including this newcomer. Another shiver ran down her spine as he spoke, the armor appearing to her as a challenge; could her blade penetrate its steel to reveal the soft organs underneath? The young girl would not give herself a chance to find out the answer. She chose not to introduce herself, finding they probably wouldn't speak much anyway, as right now it was best to keep her distance and even then she was not one for conversation.

He seemed to be joining their group in battle, which was both good and disappointing. They did not need to fight him... but also, they did not get to fight him. She rubbed her arm momentarily, looking a bit like someone who was off of their drug fix, yet the friction on her skin helped to distract from the growing frustration within her. Just as she felt her mind begin to grow hazy again, a voice nearby pulled her back to the present. Scar. Something on her expression must have slipped, because she could sense the concern hidden under his straight expression. It was rare for him to show that, so without her full senses about her she figured it meant that he thought she was going to attack somebody. Was it really that bad, this time? She hadn't noticed. Despite her breathing and this clenching in her chest, Macy felt fairly grounded and in control. At his question, she shook her head. "Not yet..." She murmured in quiet reply. Her thoughts were the same as the fox - she would only slow the group down if she were to be unconscious. Still, her words were chosen carefully, to encourage him to keep an eye out as he had been and giving him quiet permission to take her out of commission if he saw fit. His judgement was one she trusted.

Suddenly, she was handed the bag of food, and the young woman jumped slightly at having not realized Arguth had been right in front of her. It was irritating how dulled her senses were by this need to slaughter. Her eyes widened slightly, muscles twitching at the idea that he was close enough to slice... Her hand hovered over the hilt of her rapier, briefly, until he moved away from her once again. As he did, she instead moved her hand to grab one package from the bag and pass the other shares quickly to Kris. Macy needed to get away from the rest if they were to remain here for awhile. It would be good to distract herself with food, if possible, though she could not feel the pangs of hunger from her stomach. All she could feel was this deep agitation.

Quietly, she moved to a corner of the room by herself, where she attempted to eat, nibbling at the cheese that had been in the pouch. She sat with her back against the wall, knees to her chest, though her gaze remained on Arguth. She was unable to break her fixation on him. They had a wise, new companion, it seemed, and a formidable new ally. The strength she could sense from him was the very reason she wanted to fight him so badly. He would be invaluable in the inevitable battle ahead.
Mari nodded and listened intently at Minkyu explained a bit more about the restaurant. Or, really, he explained the things she already understood. There really wasn't much more to this place, though she hadn't expected anything more anyway. A cat-themed cafe with cute food was perfect enough for her! Everything around her was adorable, and it really made her filled with excitement. Could she really work at a place like this?

Her head tilted in confusion when he said he had something, but then he moved on to ask her another question. Feeling flustered, once again, she looked down at her hands which were balled into tiny fists on her lap. "I-I don't know... I-I'm sorry, I've never tried it... I can smile really well! And I like to help people! B-But, uh... I am not good at talking to others..." Her cheeks flushed red and she glanced up at him, nervously. Why wouldn't she stop bringing up things she wasn't good at? Mari's mother had told her that confidence was key in these situations.

"I-I'm willing to try anything, though!" Her face flushed red when the young girl realized how that could be interpreted. Frantically, she waved her arms. "Well, m-maybe not anything... But when it comes to this restaurant, I'm sure I can do my absolute very best with anything that needs to be done! Cleaning, bringing food to people, uh..." She paused, unsure of what else the job would entail. "..." What else could she say? Hopefully her determination was getting through to the barista in front of her.
Just wanted to jump in and let you know I am dropping from this RP.

I'm sorry, it really was fun, but I just can't keep up with the pace. I've only missed a couple of days and there are like 300 posts, now. ^^" Nothing wrong with that, just not for me with work and stuff changing and life getting busy. But I don't like to just ghost on people so I wanted to let you know. Thank you for having me. *bows*
