@Renny My idea for the tomorrow-timeskip simply boils down to this: During the night Adam posted a video that pretty much went viral. In it he calls King out. He accuses him of being a coward who hides behind internet anonymity and being too afraid to actually show his face. Adam even goes as far as removing his own mask, letting all of GBN see the face of the person who would dare do this. Then he does something else. He accuses King's Gunpla of not even being his own. That it's just a blatantly overpowered machine that GBN provided him. He accuses King of being a fake, a false hero, one who has only reached his rank because it was handed to him on a silver platter by the admins, and not because he actually earned it for real. He ends by telling King that he is welcome to prove him wrong, and then the video cuts off.
Fuck it. If no one is gonna actually do anything, then I guess we're just plain dead. Sorry folks.
@Double I didn't know that the downtime was for conversation. To be honest I was waiting for you to post again lol.

So the fact that Viper left to investigate a hunch and specifically told you guys to investigate in whatever way you deemed necessary wasn't enough of a clue?
Well my character is a one note egotistical jerk who cares more about the stats of the gunpla that he sees than the people flying it. He's already proven himself to be a stick in the mud. If you got a problem with way other people are thinking about your character then you'll either have to express him in a different way, and or ask people kindly to just stop referring to him in such a way. Angry outbursts aren't going to do you any good. I could say any number of things at the moment. In a kingdom hearts roleplay I'm in, its pretty much living dead at this point but thats besides the point, the gm called my character edgy, probably due to his sucky childhood, before I even got a chance to post I just told him I didn't think of it that way, and moved on.

If you wanna keep on raving at us that's your choice but in my opinion you're not doing yourself any favors by doing so.

Not even relevant, so why point that out? It's almost like you're trying to get a reaction out of me. Well I guess it sort of succeeded, but I digress. If you want to compare situations, then okay, let's compare the two scenarios. In the game you mentioned, the GM didn't even use the term edgy. That was one of the other players who, I must stress, is not a GM and therefore whose words were without real weight. The term the GM used specifically, I believe, was "brooding loner". And no, I'm not arguing semantics, I'm arguing that there's a legitimate difference between using a term like "brooding loner" and just straight up calling someone an edgelord. The former is not a negative term, nor does it suggest any sort of negativity. Edgy or Edgelord on the other hand? Those are clearly meant to be insulting and not constructive in anyway.

Oh and by the way, that game is not dead. I'm still very much keeping tabs on it. It's stagnant right now, yes, but that's because I made the mistake of allowing downtime that everyone decided to ignore which of course leads to the current stagnation.
Alright can we take a chill pill before things get out of hand here?

Well pardon me for not wanting to get slapped with a label early on that isn't even remotely accurate. I've seen how this crap plays out. The minute one or two people refer to someone that way, they basically become stuck with it for the rest of the game, regardless of the actual accuracy of the label. And I refuse to be this game's edgelord when my character isn't even remotely in that ballpark.
Where this hell is this "edgy" label coming from? So what, he gets angry like once and suddenly he's this massive edgelord? You'd be annoyed too, don't even try to deny it. And oh yeah, bitch-queen Miyuki thinking someone is edgy? Pot, meet Kettle.
"Bah!" Takatora blurted out, almost sounding like bark or growl, "He makes a friend request and then acts like I don't even exist!" The Meijin addressed everyone to give what he thought were criticisms of their performance and chosen styles of play. He then proceeded to just ignore the hell out of Takatora without so much as a shred of acknowledgement. The racoon's hand balled into fist, trembling for a long moment before he suddenly slammed that fist into the wall, producing a loud and audible thud, "Well screw you too, Meijin!" he shouted, almost hoping the bastard was still in earshot to hear him, "You giant, colossal asshole! What kind of jerk does that?"

He started to quiet down. What was once anger was now just simmering down into quiet hatred. Hatred for what, Takatora didn't know. Sure, the Meijin was a giant bag of dicks but it wasn't like he actually saw Takatora battle in the first mission. He was only interested in the Event with King. King, an even bigger douche than the Meijin as far as Takatora cared. He didn't know what was worse, the fact that these jerks were all getting under his skin or the fact that he didn't have a valid retort for their disregard. Things were so much easier when one could focus all their anger and frustration onto a single target. But in this case there was no single target to really focus on.

"I'll show that bastard. The Meijin, King... I tear them both down from their high horses. Then we'll see who's high and mighty after that." then Takatora suddenly shouted again, "You hear me, Meijin? And you, King? Don't get too comfortable on your thrones, because when I get done I'll reign over both of you!" he punched the wall again, and only then did he finally respond to anything Akira said, "If you want to take that jerk's advice, then knock yourself out. As far as I'm concerned, he just became another target. I'm done here for today. I've got somewhere I need to be." and without any further warning he just vanished, his avatar dissolving into pixels as a sign that the player had logged out.

In the real world, Takatora yanked off his headset and threw it over onto his bed, "Bastard!" he hissed to himself, "Time to see a man about a Gunpla." he hurriedly packed up the Hayabusa and then bolted for the door. His destination? Sakuraba Plastic Models.

I gave you all down time to start up conversations between the characters. If no one is going to take advantage of that I can always move us forward.

@AngelofOctober

Are you planning to post anything with Ianthe soon?

Well, Takatora didn't want to be the one person who refused a friend request from the Meijin. He didn't care for Daigo's personality, but he wasn't exactly personable himself a lot of the time. Reluctantly, he accepted the request, "I don't know what good I am to you. I didn't even take part in the Event." he said with a grumble. All this socializing, it wasn't exactly the reason he logged in that day. He wanted an escape, to be able to focus on something and therefore not have to think about the real world for a little while. To that end, battles were typically a good way to accomplish that. But not the talking. All that did was make him think he was in the real world, and the real world wasn't something he was in any mood to think about.

"Even if I did... I'm not sure I would've seen it through anyway." to keep from having to stare at everyone, he brought up his game menu and just aimlessly read through the Hayabusa's stat screen. Honestly it was a good thing it didn't get destroyed yet. The truth was that Takatora wasn't sure he would even be able to fix it properly if that ever happened. It wasn't his Gunpla. Not his design, and the only person who could even teach it to him was... Takatora hurriedly shut off the menu screen and looked around awkwardly. He was hoping someone, anyone, would say something else and change the subject to shift the focus away from him.
