I hoped to find the gleam of the fallen dew, but nothing can I see. Why did you go yonder to Mount Ogura?"

II. Introduction

So I have been away from the site for more than a year. I haven’t really had a lot of time to participate in any of the storylines due to school and other various reasons. So now that I am slightly more scheduled. I will be actively searching for new partners. I’m looking for people who can at least post once a day or week. This way I can ease my way back into the fold with a few one on one role-plays.

III. Ideas of the Week:

Idea: Syfy plot (Any pairing)
Plot & Theme: Werewolf & Shapeshifter

IV. Brief list of Desires

::Post & Post Lengths » I try to give as much in a post as I can. In my intros I can generally get up to a good four or five paragraphs (when I am in a good mood), and have a good idea where the plot is, and understand the story of the world we are going to play in. When one of these are lacking I will try to make up for it by using the story details you provide. I also understand writer's block, I would rather have quality so go ahead and take a break but make sure you inform me.

::Series » Right now I’m going through this phase, where I’m enjoying what I like to call role-play series. Its where I’m taking the secondary characters from my one of my other role-plays and linking the story by giving that particular character its own plot. I just finished a six-part sequence with a very good friend of mind, and I really loved it. I might try here on here sometime near the distant future. Also, if you have an idea that you would like to branch out in this direction feel free to PM me.

Anubis

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

When Anubis agreed to join the group on their venture to thing the monsters ranks. She had been truth for in her intent. She would offer her cleric skills in service. The added information she would gain on this little adventure was just a added bonus. However she cared not how much anyone of the guild masters blustered. She would not work for free. It was that simple. Anubis watched as Ragar left with his prisoner, he said the Fox Tale would spend in few days in jail. Seem fitting considering the crime. The know as Chopper then reentered the conversation. He was going to check out the PK situation that definitely pique Anubis's interest. She had intend to look into the Pk situation once the mission with the monsters were dealt with. That guy who had used those low level players to gain a meeting with her still rubbed Anubis the wrong way.

She made a mental not to check in with Chopper once they returned. She was pretty sure she could find someone around the city in contact with him. If he gained any new information on the Pk situation it was worth picking his brain. She was certain he would part with information for the right price. Mama Fang's voice dominated the conversation once more as a back and forth continued between she and the assassin Relka. Anubis understood the guidmasters of the fang family point of view. No this was not a game any longer and the situation they found themselves in was both a puzzling and pressing one. However until they found answers on how the apocalypse happened and who brought them here and how to get home. People had to live, eat and maintain their gear. That cost money. So a reward would not do. She worked for gold. "Unfortunately I agree with Ms. Relka." Anubis was polite but firm in her tone. "I work for a fee. We can negotiate but my price is steep." She continue, opening her inventory through the interface. She had something that may interest the group.

"I know your concern Mama Fang is that there maybe inexperienced players trying to make a bit of coin on the expedition." Anubis pulled out a scroll. "I can assure I am not." Which was true. Anibis was far inexperienced played. Before the apocalypse and the Novasphere Pioneers (Homesteading the Noosphere) expansion dropped Anubis had participated in static group for a good number of high tier raids. After the expansion dropped and the apocalypse happened most of the static group had been online. Once things settle down the group tests out a high tier endeavors. Though after the Noth Wen Alliance had taken over here they left for another city on the server. Anubis elected to stay. So yeah Anubis knew how to handle herself in this world. She had learned the secret to combat and healing in the world a while back.

"However I will sweeten the deal to convince you." This time Anubis looked at both Mama Fang as well as Parks. "This is a map of terrain between the city Arokan and a few of the other city states on the server." Anubis had had this map commissioned by a scribed she knew a while back. When she had decided to hold back on her alchemy business and focus on brokering information. Anubis had felt a map navigating territories of the landers, players, monster spawn and of the majors cities held significant value. The map didn't cover every territory yet but it covered the bases of the monster spawns in the area and the best routes for less time. It had taken a lot of reading and traveling outside of the city to get this information. "The map and my services are yours. However this is my price." She continue placing the scroll on the table. "I want seven thousands in gold. Half now and the other when the job is complete." Anubis also wanted something else. "Also any information gain on the expedition. I keep." Mainly she wanted information on the apocalypse, landers or anything that helped her gain new info to sell or direction on the mystery that had lead them to be placed in the game.

"I will take my leave." Anubis stood up, placing the contents she carried back in her inventory. "If of you like to discuss this further fill free to contact me." The interface opened as Anubis sent both guild masters a friend request. She sent one to Relka as well. She had a feeling the assassin would make a beneficial contact. Anubis was also aware they would want to study the contents of the scroll to see if she was telling the truth. She was more than willing to do so, but hope they had a navigator in the group because Anubis had a horrible sense of direction.

There were a good number strategies foruming in Eli's head but none of them would have any substance until he gained further information from his newly acquired prisoner. Eli cursed mentally as he pushed forward down the hall. The blood from his earlier encounter had finally dried but his hands were stilled stained. He looked down at them, gripping them into a fist. Hunter had placed them in a undesired predicament. If he had just left the angel after subduing her, Eli would only be looking at a formal address from the seraph's archangel. They would chastise Eli of course for not being able to control his subjects. However the undertone would be that they would overlook the transgression and continue to maintain their current relationship. Unfortunately his left hand, who knew their political climate hadn't made the smart decision and Eli could not figure out why. He turned a corner the vampire in question coming into view. Hunter was standing there in his disheveled suit with a few cuts spamming his hands and cheeks. He was obviously healing and drinking a glass of blood to speed up the process. Eli stepped in front of Hunter looking him over.

"Well..." He began. "...you look like merde." Hunter smiled at Eli's words. He knew he did not look at his top forum, yet after the encounter he had had who could blame him. "Well I met the woman of my dreams..." He pointed towards the glass. "...and she turned out to be a hellion." He quipped back. Hunter took another sip of his drink. He knew that Eli was not here to trade barbs. Xander had left here a while ago just before giving him a tongue lashing about his actions. He was certain that the aide had already updated Eli on the current situation. Which left Hunter to fill in the details. Xander had demanded earlier to know why he had brought the Seraph into custody. He wanted a logical conclusion where Hunter left the angel to stew in her wounds til she was retrieved. Even her death would have been far more preferable in Xander's eyes. Hunter disagreed he had happened upon the dispute by chance, but found opportunity.

Eli had charge him with an investigation on a new drug called heat that had hit the streets. Humans, as well as vampires were turning up dead and the lycans were suspected to be the cause. The lycan alpha was looking for a way to change the scales of power and Eli thought the new drug was apart of that plan. That was how Hunter had happened upon the one side scuffle. He had gain intelligence that one of the dealers for heat frequented a particular club called Nova. It was a hot spot in town, many vampires used it as hunting grounds. So Hunter knew no one would be suspicious if he came to the club for some entertainment. His plan had been simple. He would lounge around the club til the target was spotted. Hunter would then follow him back to his holdings and eventually back to the supplier. That had been the plan but then...she had come along. At first Hunter had thought it was just a dispute between mortals. He had seen this multiple times over the centuries and generally he left it to the police to handle.

What had changed his mind from walking away had been two things. One he realized that the group attacking were vampires and not just any vampires. The marks on their necks had told him they were Elandria's bloodline. The second reason had been because the one giving them a thrashing wasn't normal either. She was an angel and not just any class. She was a guardian, most likely Michael's clan. Hunter should have left the young whelps to receive their beating, they most likely deserved it. However if Elandria found out that her children hurt or even killed by someone who is not one of their own. She would use this to undermine Eli and call the thirteen bloodlines. The last thing his master needed was another power play to deal with. Not with the lycans being an even more pressing threat. So Hunter stepped in. He first detangled the younglings from her grasp. They quickly left and that was when they real fun had begun. Hunter could only describe her as one thing. A Valkyrie. The way she pulled out her weapons. Held her blades and even moved. It was like they had engaged in elegant dance.

She was a skilled fighter, for every wound Hunter gave her. The angel repaid him in kind. They moved fast pivoted using the terrain to its peak. Hunter had kept most of his attacks to a surface wound. He hadn't wanted to kill the seraph just subdue her. Since the beginning of the fight he had studied and tested her strength. Making sure he matched her skill, speed and vitality. Hunter had been so certain he had the fight in his control but he underestimated one thing. Strategy. She had had a plan. One that had nearly wounded Hunter gravely. The angel had seen an opening and seized it. Jumping on Hunter's back she pulled out two dagger and stabbed him. The pain surged through the back of Hunters chest. He tried to grab her to pull her forward, but she only dug in. Without any other option he pivoted back and rammed her against the building. However Hunters new lead was short lived as she pulled out her wings. She the force of the to free herself, flip him over onto his back. That was when he notice the weapon angling down towards his chest for the kill. Hunter knew he could no longer hold back anymore. He grabbed the angel by the throat, knocked her weapons away, stood up and used his head to knock her out.

Once she was out cold Hunter dropped her to the ground. His first thought had been to leave her for another angel to find. One would happen upon her eventually and Hunter figured it would be best if he was nowhere near when that happened. He had already underestimated one seraph tonight he didn't need to deal with another. Especially when he was wounded, bleeding and not at his peak. He needed blood to heal and that was back at the palazzo. Hunter turned away from the scene he had taken a few steps forward and then stopped. He turned around looking back at the angel. Humans and vampires were turning up dead from this new drug. The side effects after preliminary testing had shown that the drug made the user stronger, faster and for vampires more powerful. The only thing in legend that was said to do that was angel's blood. Hunter looked at the seraph. He knew that there would be hell to pay if he did this but he could not pass up the opportunity for answers. He scooped her up and brought her back to the palazzo. It had seemed like a good idea at the time. Now staring down the future wrath of his king, Hunter was not so certain.

So instead of making excuses he gave Eli the only detail that would be important to him. "I think that the lycan's are using Seraph's blood to make the drug heat ." That statement alone got Eli's attention. "Are you certain?" Hunter nodded. Eli cursed. He now understood why Hunter had grabbed the angel. He wanted to use her blood to cross reference with the samples of the drug. Now he really could not let the her go. "If you are wrong about this Hunter..." Eli grabbed the vampire's glass knocking back the rest of the remains. "I know Eli there will be hell to pay." He took the glass back pointing him towards the entrance of the interrogation room. Hunter hadn't allowed anyone to speak the angel yet. Not even himself, he left that honor to Eli. "Oh and Eli tell my wildcat I will always remember our night fondly." Eli growled as Hunter saluted him with the empty glass. He really did not like the suggestion in his servants tone. The last thing he needed was for Hunter to throw on the charm and seduce an angel.

They had way more pressing matters to deal with. He moved towards the door pushing it open. Eli stepped in, than closed the exit behind him. He fully expected a volatile prisoner when he entered. However what he had not expected was to see such a tiny figure occupying his interrogation room. This was the seraph? Hunter hadn't described her yet now he could see why he found her fascinating. She was beautiful. Her eyes were blue and so vivid. Almost as if they could bewitch you if you looked away. The curls in her hair shaped around her face in a way that made her seem soft and elegant despite the bruises she carried. Eli was almost tempted to touch her but he fought it. Instead he walked past her and took control. "My name is Eli Jarac De'Vol." He began taking one of the two chairs across the table that was present in the room. "I am the king of this coven. Unfortunately..." He paused, motioning to the chair for the angel to take a seat. "...you are my prisoner and I cannot let you go." Eli had no idea his introduction was irrelevant, nor the shock that was about to enter his eternal life.
No its fine. I left it open for you to do just that.

Eli at first glance, looks like a cool indifferent individual. At times he is a man of few words but strong determinations. Then there are times where he can be very is incredibly curt, and will verbally spar with even the most powerful of foes especially when rubbed the wrong way. Though most of the time he is seemingly unflappable, never seeming to be outwardly fazed by anything, whether he's being attacked by demon in closing it's jaws on him from behind or a Lycan trying to rip off his head. Eli can seem at times to be uncaring, or even callous. However, he actually has a very strong sense of right and wrong, he prefers to fight fair and can be counted on to do the right thing, even if he is making quips the entire time. He has a strong sense of loyalty to his coven and because of predecessor a resolve to fulfill his duty as leader. He drinks blood like any other vampire but does not participate feeding off unwilling victims. He finds it distasteful. Eli is pessimistic, always has a plan for everything, leaves nothing to chance, and will do everything necessary to reach his goals regardless of the cost. Which at times is hard because he must bend his own code.

Count Eli de Vol was born on July 27th in the year 1700, to his proud parents the Count & Countess Jer de Vol. He was raised with his two younger siblings in the their French estates in the countryside. As the tenth heir to his father’s title, Eli was raised and educated from a young age to fulfill his duty to his family and country. He knew that like many of his social class that much was expected of him. Eli would push his family’s endeavors by making political and business connections, as as eventually finding the right Lady to marrying. It was all in the cards for him. Unfortunately the cards had not shown him her. Eli’s family owned vast lands but the estate connected belonged to his father’s good friend. He was a peer of the realm like his father who had young daughter a year younger than Eli. The first time the young boy had met her they had became fast friends with Eli at times leading them on adventures or the both of them tricking the nanny into giving them extra treats. Their friendship was a strong one an a vast source of strength for him over the years. When Eli left for school at the age of twelve he continue to write her even though their parting had been painful for him. The letters help him maintain his resolve to complete school and make his family proud. Years past and eventually they lost touch until he came to london for a season with a group of his peers. It was his first year after finishing schooling and Eli was given his first bachelor lodgings. One of his mates from school who was a second son to a earl joined him in town. On the first planned soiree of the season Eli and mates attended the festivities for the evening. His parents and younger sister attended for the even, only to have two another guest in attendance in their party for the evening. One was his father best mate and the other was her. Eli at first hadn’t recognized her but after taking studying look at the beauty, he was certain. It was his childhood friend but no no longer was she a young girl but a beautiful woman. However Eli was not the only one who noticed his mate immediately asked for a introduction and that was all that she wrote. After that evening his friend had gained a right to pursue her. He took her carriage rides, picnics in the parks and escorted her on various events. Eli who had fallen hard and fast for her the moment he realized his friend desired to pursue a claim had stepped aside. The only time he had seen his old childhood companion was at dinner parties when they were seated together and when his mother had pushed him to entertain her with strolls in the park. During those brief moments of privacy they discuss old adventures at her home and what she had been up to in the years since their last letters. They had been charming discussion but Eli had never overstepped the mark even though he wanted to. Though on the first bloom of spring the footing would be pulled from right under him. His school mate had asked for her hand in marriage and it was accepted. Eli inwardly had been devastated but supported the match of both of his friends. However two people had noticed his plight. His father and her father. They had know for a very long time that he had harbored feelings for childhood friend. They encouraged him to tell her and convince her to break things off with his mate. Eli search for the answers to this dilemma. He knew himself or his mate would be hurt by this action but he had to try. So he sent a note to her to meet him in the gardens after nightfall. Eli waited in the gardens for a good portion of the evening. She never came but it would not be until the morning he would know why. His father had sent a footman with a note for him to come to the townhome immediately. When he had arrived he had learned why she had never came that night. Her father had found her in her room the next morning dead strangled. Murdered. They never found the man responsible and his school mate stood by her father echoing the grieving fiancee. Grief took over Eli and for years after he would never truly recover. He knew from the moment he had seen her again she had been the one and no other would ever do. He went off the rails for a while drinking, whoring, and fighting whatever was destructive to himself he did it. It took years and his father's death for him to find his footing again. When the Count died and Eli took over he knew he had a duty to fulfill and even though he was dead inside at least he had a purpose. He continued push the wealth of his family and even gained entry in the kings secret service. Eli served his country well but it was his last mission that would end his service and mortal life completely. He had been in the city for little over a year. Eli had been pursuing a lead on the third branch smuggling operation that was beginning to leak into london. If the operation began to grow any larger that begin to hurt legitimate shipping companies. His information had lead him into the heart of he beast. There he gained all the evidence to push for an arrest in for the group responsible. He took the evidence to his superior but before he could see the fruit of his labors. Eli was shot, one of the men peers he had not seen among the operations of that night was also in the kings secret service. His own superior had ordered his death to cover up his involvement before it could linked. The only man who could do this was Eli. After being left for dead in a alleyway Eli faded into death but a shadowed whispered in that darkness. It spoke to him demanding him to either live or die. Eli wanted to be with her but his duty and vengeance demanded he live. He gave in and when he woke Eli was changed. That was when he met the man who change him. His name was Allucard Udinov. He was one of the few remaining pure-blood vampires. However unlike many of his kin he stood at the top of the pyramid. He was their leader of the coven. The king persay and he had chosen and claimed Eli as his son. Allucard then help Eli gain vengeance on those who had taken his life and after he trained him. It took years for Eli not to be resentful towards Alucard for what he had done and even more years for him to look at the man as a father. When he finally had Alucard revealed his true agenda. He had made Eli the only child of his bloodline to replace him as the head of the coven. It was on that night Eli’s mortals connections had died and his life as a vampire had truly begun.
