Question: Does the hero have to be a canon DC character (even if they are heavily edited) or are OC's accepted?
The rp HEAVILY focused on modified canons.
But I might accept an OC idea if I really like it.

Superman is dead, the Justice League is broken, and the world they protected is in need of Heroes. From the ashes of the devastation caused by Doomsday, one Dick Grayson has reformed an initiative from the days of his own youth, The Teen Titans. Previously founded by the efforts of Bruce Wayne, his ex-protegee has taken up this mantle with the former's absence since the unofficial disbanding of the Justice League.
Players may take on the role of original returning Titans, established members of the new team or recent additions. Characters are not simply limited to canonical Titans, but may also be version of DC characters altered to fit into the Titans, be that through changes to age of character. Players are encouraged to experiment with characters, while keeping the core of the characters alive.

Prospective players are highly encouraged to join our discord server, for idea bouncing and later to aid in the running of the game. There may even be IC channels once the RP kicks off.
The general feel of the game is a contained Sandbox, players are allowed to pursue their own storylines, while the Titans as a whole will have to deal with episodic threats building up to larger plot arcs. At the same time, the rp will not solely be about the superhero element of the Titans but also about their own coming of age, and the social side of their lives.

Rules
1. While certain discussion is acceptable, the ruling of the GM, or Co-GMs, is considered the final word on any subject.
2. Play to the setting, any efforts to power/meta game or to subvert the theme of the game won't be accepted.
3. No previous sheets have been accepted, while Myself and the Co-GMs may have provided feedback, until they are posted in the OOC I won't accept/deny them. After a sheet is accepted it may be posted in the Character Tab.
4. Have fun, don't ruin others' fun.

Hello there, welcome to the Interest Check for Titans: West Coast. This RP will take a DC Universe in which the Dead of Superman, at the hands of Doomsday, has recently occurred, shattering the Justice League Trinity and leaving the world in a confused state of vulnerability. The current Teen Titans project is the second generation, a previous group of Titans having been raised under the wing of the Trinity into the original members of the Justice League. Now with Superman dead, and the world short on heroes, the powers that be have once again gathered to prepare a new generation of heroes. Dick Grayson, recently turned Nightwing, has now restarted the Titans project in an effort to fill the void.
Players can take on the role of any Titans character, or, they can 'titanify' other DC heroes. A prime example of this will be myself, playing a version of Barry Allen as the first flash, with his background altered to suit joining the Titans at this stage.
In terms of setting, the DC world of the rp is much the same as ours. While Superheroes have been a known quantity for some time, they have not been in vast numbers. The Titans are being trained up to be fully fledged heroes out of necessity, rather than simply to contain a group of superpowered/dangerous teenagers.
The rp is something of a sandbox, enabling characters to pursue their own storylines, but has episodic elements that will bind the team and character arcs together, resulting in several large 'plots' to pursue.
GMs will be myself and Ruby.
