Alicia Hayden

Yawning, Alicia made her way onto the deck of the ship, glancing up at the large castle that was nearby with a slowly growing determination as she shook off the weariness which had seeped further in courtesy of her nap. She'd have wanted to take more time after a show like that, but unfortunately Justine wouldn't be so considerate. She would just have to do her best in the circumstances that they had and hope that she didn't have any more troubles that she was unprepared for.

Everyone else seemed ready to go, and she stepped in to join everyone else as they observed their target on the deck. "Of course she is. I'd be expecting trouble if I was enacting my grand ritual," she commented aloud, perhaps a bit grumpy because of the exhaustion and the overall situation she was in.

Still, they at least had a basic plan. Three teams, attack the castle, free the captured girls if they were in a condition to be freed, and a two pronged assault from air and land. Of course Alexander immediately volunteered to go into the dungeon, so he could get Lily back. But that wasn't the most important part that she took out of it. No, the name jogged her memory, flashing her beck to the conversation that had brought Mariette into this little temporary alliance of theirs.

Turning to Mariette, she wasted no time in pursuing that line of thought. "You mentioned Sonia before," she noted aloud. "If you know what she can do, now would be a good time to mention it." Mariette had said something about the girl making Justine untouchable for just Mariette herself, hence why they were in this whole situation. She just didn't know why it was the case.

In the meanwhile, Amber presented a plan for them to follow, in her 'I'm the pirate captain therefore I'm in charge' role. She shot Amber a skeptical look, if only because she found herself dubious about the wiseness of some of these choices. "Am I going with the underground team because I know light magic? Because it feels like I am. My powers are a lot more limited in tight enclosed spaces you know." Her specialization was bombardment magic after all, and she couldn't really bombard in an indoor corridor without hitting someone else at the same time.

Still, she didn't offer up her own assessment of what she thought the teams should be. She didn't have much experience with the other girls aside from Suwako, Scout, Alexander to some extent, and Penny. The same might be true in reverse, though she was fairly confident that she had given a good enough demonstration that her strength laid in being able to really hit a lot, which didn't work indoors.

....To be honest, she also wasn't sure how many of the people here would consider her and Suwako more expendable than the others just because they came from Beacon. They were in a pretty solid minority here, and she would be damned if someone else threw them up to be sacrificed for the mission or their own survival or whatever. They might all be on the same side but they had only fought together once, and with everything that had occurred since Justine had begun this plot, she wasn't ready to put her life into anyone elses hands. Especially not Mariette's.

"I agree with her," she agreed, nodding towards Makoto. "Justine knows we're coming, so we should give our main assault forces the best chance we can to either draw her attention or to get further inside her castle. That should make it easier for the team going after the prisoners, since she'll have to pull resources to fend us off, even knowing that we're coming."
Look I'm sure it's fine. What's she going to do, become a Dark Magical Girl and start killing people? :V
Vivian Everett

Frowning, Vivian crossed her arms over her chest as her gaze swept the room while they discussed exactly how they were going to tackle this problem. Isana was reticent and she couldn't really blame her for that. Not like they had done much in the way of group activities for some time now, and this wasn't exactly the best situation to start trying to mend burnt bridges.

Leaving the jokes aside, she added her own two cents to the current argument. "Isana has a point," she noted aloud. "We don't know how they're tracking us or coordinating their attacks. Whoever is responsible might know that the bait is bait, or they might just choose to attack someone else because they better meet whatever criteria they have. Though I don't think they were intending to bring us together, since the one that I fought seemed pretty tailored to be immune to my own abilities."

Frowning, she sighed as she rubbed the back of her head in thought for a few moments. "We should go check out the Dollmaster's old haunts, see if anyone's decided to use them recently. Other magical hotspots from the old days would be a good bet too." Maybe they'd be able to find some clues there.

She ignored Elise for now. That was a can of worms she wasn't going to get involved in.
Amelia Serrai

It was strange, Amelia mused to herself as her finger tapped idly against a glass window. Every city, no matter which country, looked similar from such a high distance. People scurried like ants, cars chugged along, and people went about their lives just like everyone else. They were unaware of the bigger things that sat above their heads, bigger things like a magical girl.

"Amelia my dear, are you sure you're going to be alright on your lonesome?"

Turning her gaze from the window, Amelia nodded as she brushed a stray lock of hair back into place. "I'm sure Papa," she replied with a warm smile. "You just focus on your meeting."

That was why they were here in Japan after all, her father's business meeting for a business deal with a Japanese Zaibatsu. She was here because she had convinced her father to let her come, so she could see the world before she was too old to really enjoy it. Never one to resist too fiercely when it came to family matters, he had agreed.

'Oh, once you get the handle on Japanese culture it's not too difficult. The waiting is going to be the most boring part," he reassured her. Stepping over, he wrapped an arm around her in a hug before kissing her forehead. "I'll see you at dinner."

"Right," Amelia agreed, stepping back. She watched as he left before returning to the window. Her hand drifted to rub a small bird pendant as her thoughts turned to the real reason that she was here, and the reason that she had persuaded her father to let her come. Hex Night was drawing near, a grand battle of magical girls that would compete for the granting of a wish to whomever the winner was. She didn't really have a wish for herself, not yet, but she knew that it would be better to have some say in who got the wish rather than not. And since her father had planned to come here, it made things easy to arrange.

"Time to get going," she said to herself with a growing determination, as she turned and moved to leave her hotel room. best to get the lay of the land here before everything started happening. She wouldn't have much time at all

Alice's comment caused Vivian to roll her eyes as she was pulled along, Isana soon joining them in the iron grip of the rich magical girl as they were forcibly taken back to their lair. Not that she overly minded the place, she just didn't see a reason to go back there. She might also just have dim memories of what it was like, so her perspective was clouded.

"Isn't this how we broke up the last time?" Vivian asked sarcastically in response to Alice's comment. She was pretty sure that that was indeed the case, or at the very least it was typical enough for Alice that she could confuse herself otherwise.

As they headed towards the base, she shrugged. "I dunno, these attacks were too precise to be coincidental. It's worth talking about at least." It seemed like it might be someone attacking them, but who? There wasn't anyone around, or at the very least they would have heard of it by now

Entering the base, Vivian went along wherever Alice dragged her, left without an option to do much else in this situation. "Which of us would even know how to do something like that?" Magical constructs were one thing, but actual monsters/ That was whole other matter. Besides, she was fairly confident that none of them hated the rest of the group quite that much

Aware of the risks that came with what she was doing, the high powered attack paid off as she roasted one of the things before it could flip the ship over from brute force. She couldn't simply stop at the one however, and swung around to bring herself to aim at one of the creatures on the deck. Though it was a good thing that Mariette's portals weren't two way since that would have been a bit awkward. As it was, the strength of her magic torched the portal it hit before continuing to strike the Gorelion behind it.

Gritting her teeth she kept her focus up as she tried to keep from going too far with this spell. Nonetheless by the time this Gorelion died too Alicia was basically tapped out for all the mana she was willing to use, even with the emergency reserve afforded by her blood magic. At least she didn't have to worry about anything else as the group finished off the remaining bad guys without her, including their resident slime girl getting shot out of a cannon (of all things)

With the coast clear for now, Alicia sent away Star Seraph before staggering a bit, grabbing onto the railing as exhaustion from the rapid use of all that mana set in. "I really hope she doesn't have many more of those things," she remarked as she gestured to the carcass on their deck. She wasn't sure how they were going to get rid of that but it wasn't her problem, at least in her opinion.

Alicia carefully lowered herself down to the deck of the ship, leaning back against the wall as she observed everything that was going on. She should probably be angry about their new dragon teammate, but honestly she didn't have it in her right now. Besides, it wasn't like she was in a position to do anything about it right now anyway. So she'd just leave it be for now as long as it didn't start destroying things.

Glancing over to her companion, Alicia gestured to the dead Gorelion. "Next time those things show up, you can take them out Suwako," she called. "i'm just gonna take ten, wake me up when we get there."
Translation magic? :V

Finding themselves assailed by the press, Vivian soon found that she didn't have to do the talking as everyone else leapt in to deal with the reporters in their own unique way. Of course it was all definitely ended as a wall of earth rose up, forcing them to leap back or they'd get tossed like so many bowling pins. "Well I guess that settles that," Vivian remarked as she turned away from the hubbub. Her work here was basically done.

Or at least she tried anyway, giving a tug only to find that Alice had a firm grip on her arm that didn't look like it was going to be released any time soon. Still, Alice had offered to buy dinner. Vivian wasn't the type to turn away a free meal and knowing Alice it would at least be a good restaurant. So she supposed that it was worth the hassle that shopping for furniture would end up being.

"Alright," she conceded with a sigh. "Just don't blame me if it ends up all being tacky." She wasn't exactly a decoration guru.

@Pyromania99
@Flamelord I think Vivian misunderstood Alice's words. She's not saying "Pay for it" she's saying, "Help me find another one." It may or may not be an attempt to get in her pants, but it is definitely an invitation to hang out :)

Oh well, Alice is just going to have to deal with it :P

Vivian nodded with satisfaction as her attack smashed the monster and finished it off for good. Seeing Dark Pulse in action always brought a sense of amusement to her with how it could destroy, and it felt much better to do it to that than to the wind monster she had been so completely ineffectual against. With that and one last monster dispatched, it seemed that the fight was over for now.

Pity about whoever's furniture that was, but it probably wasn't relevant. Right?

With everyone relaxing, Vivian took it upon herself to detransform back to normal as she stepped away from her bike for the moment. Much as she would like to go zooming off, she was at least dimly aware of the fact that without everyone else she would have been a smear on the highway somewhere, so she should probably give them some gratitude for the assist.

Before she could say anything though, she found herself approached by Alice. Whoops, turned out that the couch belonged to her after all. Not that Vivian would have done anything different given the situation. "Not a chance," she replied firmly, crossing her arms defiantly. "That couch wasn't coming out in one piece after you let it get possessed by a monster. Besides, I'm sure you're rich enough that replacing that stuff shouldn't be a problem." She wasn't going to give in without a fight.
