Bio

Bio? I assure you that any bio for me would be largely uninteresting. And probably depressing.

Hey, I'm making my CS right now, and I was wondering if a black color scheme would be to hard to read. It matches the ink-theme of Rorschach, who my character is based off of, but I wont if it would make it too difficult to read.
@Caits
Awesome! I'll hopefully have something up tomorrow.

Hey, I saw this and was interested. Are you guys were still accepting? The Join Status says apply, but sometimes people forget to switch it when they stop accepting.

And if you are accepting, I was wondering if I could make a Watchmen themed character. It's DC, but it's not part of the main, Justice League universe.
@Lovely Complex
Good to hear! ^_^

Aw, shucks! Thanks guys!

And I can see Eleanor is hot for my Ash xD

Absotively! That was actually a last minute idea as I was writing it all out. You can probably expect more stuff like that in the future! XD
Alrighty, my post is up! It's been a while since I've done a Casual RP, so it may take me a while to get back on the right track writing wise, but I thoroughly enjoy the character of Eleanor, and am excited to continue playing her!
Eleanor Rigby

Location: The RigbyMobile -> Magic Camp -> Heart Triad
Interacting with: Freddy the Driver, Sexy Director Chick @Lovely Complex

"Freddy, do you know what the most important part of magic is?" The words filled the stretch limousine, partially drowned out by the immortal sounds of Axl Rose and his band blasting out of the vehicle's speakers. The car itself was elegant, with comfortable, padded seats, tinted windows, and enough legroom for a small Korean family. However all of these details were seemingly disrupted by the interior's state of disarray. Littering the ground was a vast amount of trash, ranging from beer cans, to candy wrappers, to crushed cigarettes, to Dorito bags, some empty, some not. And in the center of all the filth and chaos sat Eleanor Rigby, stretched across the limo's long seats, a deck of cards in her hands. She wore a gray shirt and purple pajama pants, and her bare toes wiggled, savoring their freedom while they still had it. As she spoke, Eleanor shuffled her cards in numerous ways, all of whose tricks were difficult to see with an untrained eye.

Up at the steering wheel sat an chubby, middle-aged, balding man, driving the vehicle as it crossed a stone bridge. The man, known to Eleanor as Freddy, looked back at her in his rearview mirror. "Gee, Miss Rigby, I don't know." he replied. "But if I had to guess, I'd guess misdirection."

"Wrongo, Freddy," Eleanor said, pulling a single card out of the deck. With a flick of her hand, it seemed to disappear into thin air. "but don't take it personally. Everybody thinks it's misdirection. But they're all wrong. No, the most important part of magic is PRESENTATION!" As she yelled the last word, the card, the seven of clubs, reappeared between her thumb and her forefinger, now facing Freddy. "And is this your card?"

Freddy's face twisted and contorted to form an expression of confusion as he glanced back at his passenger. "Uh, Miss Rigby, you never had me choose a card." he said.

"Yeah, I know, but it would've been your card, had you chosen one. I thought we'd skip that part and get straight to the actual magic." She said, sliding the cards back into their box.

Freddy's face morphed back into one of subtle amusement. "Ah, I see." he said, giving a small nod. "Y'know, one could make the argument that misdirection is part of presentation."

"Well it is, but it's also much, much more. Like King Kong and Godzilla. Both are giant monster things, but only one of them is an ape."

"Huh. Yeah, alright, that makes sense I s'pose." Freddy said, as the Limousine pulled up beside a yellow bus, with numerous teens and young adults standing out in front of it. "It's been a pleasure, Miss Rigby, but I'm 'fraid we're here."

"Goodbye, my friend! I'll see you in three days!" As she spoke, Eleanor slid Chuck Taylor's onto her feet and shoved the laces in as well, not bothering the tie them. The white shoes were decorated with numerous small quotes and sayings, the most prominent of which was on the right side of the right shoe, which, in big block letters, said MODERN LIFE IS RUBBISH. She then popped open the limousine's doors and hopped out. She went around to the back, to find the trunk already popped open, with her suitcase and her backpack inside, both of which were adorned with numerous badge and pins, all referencing old movies from Star Wars to Howard the Duck. She pulled them both out, closing the trunk, and began to walk away. But as she made her way to the crowd of other campers, out of the corner of her eye, she saw the passenger side window of the limousine slide down, so she turned back around and walked to it, popping her head in to talk to her driver.

"Please Freddy, spare the pleas to take you with me. I wish I could, truly I do. For the passed eight hours, you've been like the father I never had, and I think it would be a blast to have you here with me. But alas, you know how my mother gets. If you're not back by tomorrow, she'll have you fired, and I don't think either of us wants that. But I will miss you, Freddy, truly I will. But we'll always have Paris."

"Um...Actually, I was just gonna call you back because you left this in the CD player," He said, handing her a CD case with a disc inside. It was plain white disc, labeled in sharpie with the words Andrew McClain Is My #1 Hottie, My Heart Belongs to Hi-, JK, he's an enormous FUCKING cunt who should stop writing on my CDs before I choke him out with his own intestines: A playlist by Eleanor Rigby. Eleanor took the case from her driver, giving him a small nod. Just then, Freddy's mouth shaped into an O-shape, signifying that he forgot something. "Oh, and I almost forgot." he exclaimed, popping open the glove box to reveal a tube wrapped in a plastic bag. He picked it up and handed it to Eleanor with a smile. "In case things get a bit too...peaceful for your taste. Just don't tell anyone where you got it from."

Eleanor glanced inside the plastic bag, only to find a cylinder, with a picture of an exploding firework wrapping around it. She grinned and glanced back up at Freddy. "My god, are you sure we aren't related?"

"I'll be seein' ya, Miss Rigby." He said with one last smile. The window rolled back up and the limousine turned around and headed back down the dirt road.

Eleanor raised her hand high in the air, waving at the vehicle as it sped away. "Godspeed, my dear boy! Godspeed!" She shouted, until it turned a corner and was out of sight. With a light sigh, Eleanor shoved the fireworks into her backpack, turning back around and joining the group of youngsters. A few seemed to recognize her, or at least take notice of her, she realized, seeing a number of them muttering amongst themselves, looking in her direction. There was no way to tell if they'd seen her work, or just saw her on the covers of tabloid magazines for her mischievous shenanigans, but both were equally likely. However, most of the campers were simply waiting, looking in the direction of a young, attractive woman, one Eleanor herself could definitely see herself getting acquainted with, calling names and handing out envelopes. Almost as if on queue, Eleanor heard the beautiful woman call out her name. She closed her eyes for a few moments, not stepping up to take the envelope, but instead savoring the woman's voice as she repeated Eleanor's name a few more times, committing it to memory for later usage. After the fourth time, Eleanor opened her eyes once again and stepped forward, taking the envelope. But unlike the other campers, she didn't step aside to let the next person through. Instead, she opened up the envelope, and looked at the page inside, which read Cabin Assignment: Queen of Hearts. She then glanced up at the woman and held up the paper to her.

"So this must be my cabin, right? Y'know, this isn't the first time I've been called a queen of hearts. I've been known to have quite the effect on people. So if you ever find yourself feelin' lonely, you know where you can find me." Eleanor's words dripped from her lips, which were drawn up in a smirk, as she gave a quick wink and left to join the rest of the hearts, whose counselors all wore shirts adorned with red hearts. They were quite attractive as well. In fact, since stepping out of her limousine, she hadn't seen a single person who she deemed unattractive. Of course, she couldn't flirt with all of them. At least not yet. After waiting a few minutes, Eleanor and the hearts all began walking to an apparent triad of cabins.
silence...

I'm about to get a post out here shortly, so it won't be silent for long!...Or, actually, it probably is, since Mortimer's mute...huh...
@Charbonne@Soph123

Hey you two!

So I was just reading through your guys' posts in preparation for my upcoming post, but while I was, I noticed a bit of a continuity error. Charbonne, at the end of your post, Kate was outside waiting for the counselors' introduction. However, in Soph's post, Josie walks into her cabin and finds Kate already there looking around their cabin. So I just thought I'd smooth it out before I make my post. Where are they?
I feel like the boys have gotten all the introductory actions though. Where the ladies at?

I had to turn my laptop in for repairs last week, so I haven't been able to get a post up. However, I should get it back today.
