Bio

Well hello.

I guess I should introduce myself, huh.

I'm Gardevoiran, just some schmuck going to college and working towards getting a degree in Fine Arts.

I do commissions and what-not, and you can ask me to do a commission for you through my Discord (Gardevoiran #1429) or up here through RPGuild PMs, and I receive donations and payment through my Ko-fi page. Clicking the box right below here will take you to it.

I'm a nerd. I play Pokemon religiously, I dabble in some anime, I write up here, and I love watching incredibly awful movies and just making fun of them. Specifically things like "Leo the Lion" and what not.

I don't have much else to say, so I guess I can leave you guys with a really bad joke.

"What do you call a cow with two legs?"
"Lean beef."

"That's a BIG SLIME!" Digbie commented as he staggered back a little. It looked like it easily dwarfed the entire party from that far away, and he hadn't seen what the orange slime could do compared to the other slimes that the group had come across. He was definitely afraid of what was in front of him, thats for sure, though he was pretty sure he had the ability to check it this time... oh wait, Monster Analysis!

Digbie squinted his eyes and looked at the monster, using {Monster Analysis}, {Material Analysis}, and {Magical Analysis} all at the same time to decipher what this slime in front of the party could do to hurt the group.

Before he knew what he was even going to do, he found his hands clenching shut. He wasn't going to let this thing hurt his friends, that's for dang sure. Torrent had almost died twice, it seemed, and he wasn't about to let anyone else come that close to dying again. The goblin stood straight up, outstretched his arms to his side in a perpendicular fashion, then slowly tipped backwards until he fell onto his back. From there, he used {Earth Vein} to start regenerating his magical supply. He had to be prepared for what the Slime had, and as it stood he was low on MP, so recovering some was pretty much a necessity at this point.

"Get ready guys! I'm pretty sure this isn't going to be easy!"

"Oh, my dad's the flying researcher in Freecape! I know there's plenty of Flying Types out there, but I wanna help my dad and find some of the Flying Types outside of the area around Freecape. So far, I got the Tropius around, but I dunno where I'd go next." Skylar looked at the outlines of the Pokemon that Lorette had, which seemed to be bug type Pokemon. Interesting, indeed, but Skylar felt like if he was actually gonna challenge the League he'd have an easier time with Lorette's battle than most others.

As Lorette left, Skylar's attention was very quickly grabbed by Vivia as she was scolding her Rotom, though she seemed to get hit with the short end of the stick as she got shocked by Rotom. Celebrity waddled over and looked at Vivia with a scolding glare, to which Skylar laughed at a little bit. The boy then reached into his bag for the first bill he had and handed it up to Seabreeze, who looked at it with intrigue and confusion. "Wing?"

"Mind taking this to the donation box, Sea?"

"Gull!" Seabreeze took the bill in his beak and flew over to the the donation box in the corner, careful to stuff it in there as best as a Wingull could. Eventually, the bill slid into the box.

Skylar tipped 2000P!

Seabreeze flew back over to Skylar's hair and nestled back into it, nuzzling Skylar with his beak. Skylar smiled hard as he extended a hand to Valen. "I'm heading towards Route 3 after this, trying to go into Highhill to a Pokemon Center. Wanna come with me and Vivia so you don't run the risk of getting into any more trouble with those blockheads?" Regardless of whether or not Skylar's hand was taken, he continued on with another plan of his. After all, there was one more new friend here that he could make...

Skylar looked up at the Ralts above him and the other trainers, smiling at it's vague green blurry head and reaching up to it with a smile. "It's okay lil' guy. We're not gonna hurt ya. I just wanna meet you properly, if that's okay."

"Nah, y'should be fine showin' that. It's a little rare, but not unheard of." Stride answered your question about your arm before grabbing his red sword from the table he was sitting at. "And there's not too much to explain, really. I did work for Yashar ages 'n ages ago, and they were some a'the people I worked alongside." Stride stepped over to you and Eve, glancing down at the goblin that was nearby. "Wanna bring 'im with us? Might be useful if his magic can raise walls and such."

Digbie raised an eyebrow before clambering to his feet, looking at Stride and you with a tilted head. "I'd be glad to come with if you need me, a-as long as we don't fight anyone and kill them..."

"Ah, hello Kitten. I'm Akiko." Akiko smiled softly towards the almost childlike catgirl. It was there that she started to talk about something called Deepground, something Akiko had never heard about. HUDs were only slightly familiar to the bard, but something called Deepground was completely foreign to Akiko. "I'm kind of the party's bard, right here. We're scaling the tower, and I'm on my own personal quest. If you don't mind, you could be... hm...?" It was at about that time another girl had appeared to join the cast of characters, calling herself Lin.

"Ah yes, another girl to add to his growing harem." Akiko snarked as she pointed towards the boy, realizing then that he still hadn't told the party his name. "You still have yet to introduce yourself to anyone, by the way." She let that hang in the air before looking back down at Smitten Kitten, extending a hand to her. "Care to hang out with me for a while? I promise I won't bite~." Akiko said with a trusting smile, one that could definitely do no wrong, though her eyes looked into Smitten Kitten with a mischievous glare.*

Regardless if Kitten took it, 'Touka' would start to explain the mechanics of a Serei to the group, followed up by a newcomer named Cait, though she probably wouldn't join the party as they continued trying to ascend up the Tower. So Serei were just fabrications of summons? Interesting indeed, though Akiko wondered if they had another purpose. Might be a good question to ask Cait and Touka before everyone got too comfortable.

"Is that all Serei's do? Not that I don't like the nekomata here, she's quite cute, but I'm just curious for the rest of the party's sake." Akiko inquired, grabbing her potion and uncorking it to get a quick whiff of the contents.

* gonna mark times I use Critical Past with a red underline.

"I'm not a kid anymore! I've got a few years under my belt this time!"

"Grrgh! Son of a bitch!" Akiko shouted as she clutched her head tightly. The last five seconds were hell on her, but they would be short lived as she saw the black hole form on the battlefield. Her immediate reaction was to get up and run, but she soon found that it was futile, her body being lifted off the ground and pulled back into the dark hole behind her, everything becoming black as they faded away into obscurity, if only for a little while.

Once they awoke, they found something interesting that they hadn't possessed before, which was a card labeled "Smitten Kitten". Akiko didn't know what to first acknowledge between the tavern the party was in and the card she was holding. She chose the former, though she really didn't have much to say. It was a tavern, with barrels of alcohol and barstools against the counter. It was weird to go from a battlefield to this place, but outside of that it just seemed oddly normal. This must be one of those "Safe Rooms" she heard about in the games her colleague played in her spare time. Maybe she could tend to the headache she had now.

Now, onto the more pressing matter, with the card over there in Umi's hand summoning a whole other girl to the game, one of whom Kanbaru seemed to have a fond interest in, calling her 'Touka' and hinting at a club they were both in. So these cards hold some form of spirit of a specific person or... thing. Akiko was very confused why this catgirl, was on her card. She could've sworn this was on a pillow somewhere in a mall she visited once. Regardless, Akiko rubbed her head and held her own card out, trying to summon forth what the Smitten Kitten had to offer. Maybe this would be the first of the order of Knights she wished to have? Solo Player didn't really hint at that, but who knows?

"Let's see what my card holds..."

A few seconds passed with nothing happening, then the card began to glow.

The (Overdue) Pumpkin King!

Jack sat in the shadows atop the tavern's roof, listening to the merry music down below underneath him with a little glee. Before he knew it, he found himself humming along to the tune softly while awaiting the news from the others. He would've departed with a merry farewell as they went in, but he figured that if anyone saw him that'd be a quick ticket to getting arrested, which is certainly something that Jack didn't need to happen, as he'd probably give some people a heart attack before he went in.

So, he waited, looking up at the moon to gaze upon the luster he saw. Despite him not being in Halloween Town, he swore it was almost like he never left the place. The moon was the same wherever you saw it, whether it was here or in Halloween Town, so seeing something strikingly familiar to him was a nice change of pace, even if it wouldn't be for long.

He hoped he could find Sally soon so they didn't have to worry much longer about her.

"Glitches are fun, let's see if I get any more."

(Wow I thought I posted here earlier. Apologies for that and for me not sticking super well to the 3 day thing I had.)

"Good, I was getting worried about you." Eve hugged you a little longer before she remembered something. "Oh shoot, uh, there are some bad guys in town that I think are looking for you and Westley."

Stride's head raised from his table as he got up and walked over to you guys. "Wait, him and me? What'd they look like?"

"I was flying overhead, so I could only get a few details, but they were a big orc, packrat goblin, and... uh... a really big skeleton, I think? He was cloaked, but I saw his bony hands."

"Grox, Bob, and that fucker, shit. Yashar didn't spare any efforts after I went rogue." Stride rummaged through his bag as he pulled out a small box emblazoned with a small marking of the moon and a grey cloak, giving both to you. "If you're going into town, wear these. I'll try and distract the mercs looking for us in case you get into trouble."
