Bio

There's not much about me to say.

I was born in December 1998, and I've been doing Forum RP since 2011. I live in Southeast Asia-- the Philippines (GMT +8:00) in particular, so if I'm not around, I'm probably asleep or otherwise busy. I mostly do Group RPs and Tabletop Games (off-site). I've never been in a 1x1 RP, but some of the premises seem interesting enough.

I like Fantasy, Sci-fi, and certain Anime settings. I do shy away from certain genres as a matter of preference (historical, slice-of-life, grimdark, etc), and if I know nothing about a fandom setting in question, I'm far less likely to throw my hat in the ring-- but if the premise is interesting enough, I may give it a shot regardless.

I like to be relatively active, though life gets in the way sometimes. If you're lurking and are trying to get me to post, if you want to be a mutual friend, or if you want to invite me to a specific RP, just let me know...I don't bite. So long as you aren't rude, we'll get along just fine, and even then, I may extend a sort of professional courtesy between us as writers.

With that out of the way, if you're here, you're probably looking for more of my writing. Thankfully, I've recently compiled a list of my characters (with links to their respective RPs) from this site. If you want to check them out, the link is here.

If you made it this far, thanks for reading! May the RPs you're in be of an acceptable posting speed, and eventually, come to end on a decent conclusion...

...A man can dream, eh?

This page will mostly be used as an archive for my characters in various RPs on this site, past and present. These RPs are arranged in chronological order (by date of the character sheet's posting), and will only include characters I have actually written. If all goes well, this list will update very time I post a new character sheet.

Probably.

If you're me, then don't forget to update-- you know how lazy you can get sometimes. If you're a visitor perusing the Character Sheets section for whatever reason, then I hope you have as much fun reading about my characters as I have spent bringing them into existence!

December 30th - Observation Post

All things considered, the boy was in a good enough mood. He had long-grown accustomed to the distant echo of explosions from miles away, the conditions of the trenches, the ever-present tension that permeated garrisons like this. As Elliot stepped across the muddy floorboards of the frontline dugouts, he secured his belongings one last time, pulling on the straps of his ushanka tight as a cold breeze blew past overhead.

It wasn't a pleasant day, by any sense of the word...

But it was not Elliot's first day in the trenches.

Sometimes, the days would blur together without any action. Sometimes, Elliot would have to shoot more than a few hapless soldiers who had popped their heads out of the trench... and sometimes, fighting would intensify to the point of a full-scale attack. It seemed things were quiet enough that today was one of the calmer days.

For now, anyway.

Moving past the dugouts, the boy would report to the nearest observation post, where he spotted another boy, even shorter than he was. Elliot had seen this young man before, though he hadn't learned his name. Still, a familiar face was a familiar face, and Elliot's posture stooped slightly to avoid exposing his head, he couldn't help but lower his head a little more and tip his hat-- a nod of acknowledgment. It seemed the other boy was busy tinkering with the periscope, and although the marksman was a little curious, he didn't pry.

"Good morning." It wasn't a 'good' morning, but it could be a lot worse, and it didn't hurt to be polite. "I'm here to take over your shift." His tone was neutral, but not unfriendly.
Co-GM IC:

The Keep

The four assassins hopped from rooftop to rooftop under cover of darkness, and under the festive noise of the celebration, none would notice their approach unless they had an idea that they were coming in the first place. The plan was simple enough. All they would need to do is to eliminate key figures in their sleep. On their way there, they would kill only if spotted, and if they had encountered too much resistance, they were either to flee or to deny the enemy the opportunity to interrogate them.

But if all went well... then perhaps they'd still have a chance of making their master's plan a reality.

The assassins then split into pairs, one duo entering through the kitchen's service entrance, and the other having scaled the keep, entering through one of the windows in the guest rooms. Their targets? Duke Manuel Karstilli, and Lord Balthazar Trevarthen. Each group would search for the former in the master bedrooms, and the latter in the guest bedrooms. Should they fail to find their target, they would begin searching more public rooms, before moving to search each room individually.

Downstairs, particularly attentive characters might be able to detect the presence of two individuals moving silently through the Keep. Upstairs, the assassins would be less likely to be noticed-- though prepared characters may still be able to find a way to surprise their assailants. Characters simply wandering the halls may be able to chance upon the intruders, if they're lucky.

The Trade Square

With the celebration in full swing, people would be unlikely to spot the pair of assassins moving silently through the crowd, their hooded figures blending in with the crowd seamlessly. There was also one hopping from rooftop to rooftop, overseeing the whole thing. Their mission, similar to their compatriots, was to eliminate one of the key figures holding the siege together: the Crown Prince Leonidas Lionheart. If they succeeded, there would of course be repercussions that extend past the siege, but whether or not they would succeed is another question entirely.

In plain sight, these assassins would try to poison the Crown Prince's meal or wine. Failing that, they would resort to more overt actions-- either stabbing the man with an envenomed blade or firing at him from atop the rooftops. If caught, they would use the pandemonium of the crowd to make a quick escape, not wanting to risk their lives more than they have to.

Someone particularly perceptive who was watching the crowds may be able to note how suspicious these assassins are. Meanwhile, anyone paying general attention to their surroundings may notice the strange individual moving silently atop the rooftops. Characters partaking in the festivities are less likely to spot these individuals until it is too late, but may get a chance to react, if nimble enough.

The City Streets

Meanwhile, the remaining two assassins have different objectives from their comrades. Their goals were twofold: they would move to poison the town's water wells. Although the townspeople have an alternative water source in the nearby river, they do this in the hope of inflicting damage to the town's infrastructure and some of the defenders before the battle begins. Their next objective, however, was more insidious: they had planned to plant detonation charges on the city's East Gate, where damage to the gatehouse was most serious.

If they succeed in their plan, then it was likely that the gate would fall the next day-- something that would make defending the city exponentially more difficult. Of course, first, the assassins would have to make it to these facilities. A pair of hooded individuals walking the city streets was noticeable enough, considering that they're so far away from the main festivities. Anyone simply walking around the streets may be able to find them randomly, and anyone actively searching for them would not have to look particularly far to spot them in the first place.

...but would the Royal Guard and the City Watch be able to mobilize quickly enough to neutralize all these threats? Only time would tell.
The remainder of the day was, thankfully, not nearly as eventful as its beginning. Any further attacks made by the enemy could be easily repelled at this point, and it was only a matter of time until the enemy threw in the proverbial towel. A good general knows when the battle was lost-- that the scales have tipped too far in the favor of the enemy, and that it was time to retreat. The tactician who was currently advising the invaders must be competent enough to realize that much. After all, a simple Orc Warlord would not have been capable of such tactics.

Thus, the rest of that day consisted of Balthazar doing paperwork. With his Record-Hunters at his side, he could easily churn out enough orders and reports to ensure all fronts were updated on the situation at hand. When the fighting had subsided, he and the Prince worked to try and convince the Duke of Bergkoff to open the possibility for a small celebration to raise morale. Although Balthazar would take no part in such festivities himself, its effects on the attitudes of the city's citizens and soldiers were undeniable.

Of course, he would not have advocated for this if the siege were to be protracted, or if there was a shortage of food, but if all went well, Siegfried and his reinforcements would be here to help break the siege of Bergkoff and turn things around on the enemy. Thus, as the townspeople and soldiers moved to enjoy a pleasant evening within the town square, Balthazar would retire to his quarters. The thing he would do next required... privacy.

"M'lord." A soft voice said from behind the door.

Balthazar took a moment to confirm its authenticity, before opening it. "You've grown to be a capable courier, Miss Mary." He commented as he took the envelope from her hands.

"It's no trouble, m'lord." The maid smiled. "You've treated me very well so far."

"So I hope." He reached into his coinpurse and placed a Sovereign in her palm. "Do enjoy the festivities tonight, Miss Mary."

Shocked at his generosity, she stammered out words of thanks as she bowed deeply. "T-thank you, m'lord! I won't forget your kindness."

Balthazar merely smiled and waved her off. She was a useful asset within the castle, and although she had no connections to speak of, she could prove to be a valuable source of information within Bergkoff in the future. When she was gone, the man locked the doors to his bedchambers and began to read the contents of the newly-delivered envelope.

"Drana Turash..." Balthazar mused openly as he compiled the information he knew into several sheets of parchment.

Balthazar yawned as he glanced at his pocketwatch. It was not particularly late, and it seems the festivities were only just beginning. He looked out the window to observe from a distance, packed his pipe full of tobacco, and enjoyed the solitude as best he could from the comfort of his room.
