And back I am. Exhausted, certainly, and may need a while for that to wear off, but I'm once more here to read and even write!

Should have been writing posts. Took part in D&D shenaniganry instead. Got to fix that tomorrow.

There's a lot of backlog here on my end. I'm trying my best to lessen it, but replies might be less frequent for a time. A welcome change from the nothing doing I went through though! Thanks partners!

Bio

I suppose it is about time for me to copypaste fill in some information about myself over here just as well. Only took me a few years to getting around to do it.

I am a married individual in my twenties from the country some people dare claim does not exist. The Finland conspiracy is an old joke, you can stop with it now. Not a native speaker of the English language by any means, though I did begin studying it exceptionally early for our country's standards. I suppose it was some sort of a test case. With that out of the way though, what more should I be saying here...
  • I like being nice to people. If one needs to ask why, well that alone is reason enough.
  • I play and Dungeon Master Dungeons and Dragons, both offline and in the past also over here.
  • I enjoy OOC chatter, be it planning the RP or a more casual exchange (not that RP'ing is that serious). I can make do without, but don't be afraid to talk to me.
  • Whatever the case, I'm here to have fun and hone my writing abilities!
I do think that should about cover it, yes.

Thanks for stopping by I suppose! I do also have a Discord account, but I prefer to start anything RP related on the site. At least with people I don't know from the past, that is! But hey, now if you are a longer time contact of mine and happened to read this, now you know and can ask!

Oh man, I'm excited to see your post after watching your LP!

Well isn't that good to hear!
Kinda tempted to pull a Leeroy Jenkins on this one...

Tell me what conclusion you come to. Vensor will act accordingly. He wants to use his bow, but can't if he is a frontliner with Hector.
Is nobody interested in sharing with Brannor what happened while he was paying attention to other things? I'd love a bit more material to work with.

The shadowy caster fell, whether it was partly thanks to him or not Theodore did not know. Not that it would have mattered. One's role in the fight was all one had to know and their actions should always be performed to the fullest. Hit or miss, each soldier should give their duty their all. That was how the templar had taught and how Theodore had learnt to live and fight. According to his role. And his role was to pelt the enemy with bolts until it ceased being a threat or he ran out of ammunition.

He reloaded his weapon and took aim once more, his target being the big axe wielding creature. He briefly remembered the success he had had with the last one of its kind while trying to judge a weak spot for it. Somehow he just knew where to shoot for the attack to truly hurt, yet as he released the bolt a horrible doubt crept into his mind. Just how had he been so sure? Was it all a trick by the shadows to have him waste his ammunition? Nonetheless, the bolt had been let loose, so all he could do now was to reload while Katia celebrated her more apparent success below the path his shot would have had to take.

Hank's working on something, real life just intercepted him like a linebacker, so don't be too worried about this game being DOA.

Oh, I'm not afraid of that. Just trying to say that more activity is rarely a bad thing.

@Hekazu I wasn't working on anything because I didn't want to potentially interfere with this, but can do so if you want, mostly healed up.

A fair point. Up to you, though I don't think a bit more material to work with is going to hurt that much. Got to keep the RP moving before it suffocates and all.
I'm still waiting for any reply to Lord Vensor about his past in the civil war. @Kassarock, do you think you might have recovered in the near foreseeable future, or should I just go on, assuming what he said has put Skall's curiosity at rest?
Would it be reasonable then, given we are out of order now, to fire one last arrow before addressing the rest of the situation, @Hekazu? It seems we have a bit of a prisoner dilemma on our hands again, but that isn't my primary concern. We've made it through once. Just more so if our escapee is determined to get away by fate's permission.

Prisoner's dead. Kyra sends her regards. Nonetheless, feel free to fire tht last arrow.
I'll post later tonight.

Yes, I do believe breaking the initiative order at this point would be a smart move.
These people just couldn't decide on how to question him it seemed. If he had to guess, the majority was fine with lopping his head off right here and now and an old mercenary, if anyone, would know when the bunch before them was after blood more than anything else. They were still shooting after his friends too, though he thought he had made it clear that none of them had any interest in working for the cut any longer. Well, best not drag it on any longer than need be.

"The rearguard's 'bout a mile from here if they do tha usual. Dunno how many. Was hired by that black haired woman in purple to have more muscle. Man needs to eat. Now go on ahead. Kill me if it makes ye happy! Hypocrites..." he answered the questions given to him and closed his eyes. He was afraid. He was not looking forward to dying. But he was also not looking to prolong his anguish. Give them the knowledge they ask for and pass away. Damn these self-righteous folk, going around doing just what they despise.
