@Hero IIRC that was caused by a late payment and a very strict server host, not a maintenance failure

Oh I misunderstood the topic, my bad.
Well...there was the fall of Old Guild...

It's the reason I now have anything I care for in a Google Doc.
How in the world was Kai so calm about it? Their fight had left Cielle somewhat dismayed, but there he was, acting like it never happened. Despite initially dismissing him as a fool, maybe she really could learn from him. Even if he was quick to forgive, he was much too soft for his own good. And yet, that stupid smile of his was oddly comforting. There was probably no avoiding this fight, it was probably going to be the many of first, but if they got over them quickly, things wouldn't be so bad. She was too rigid, he was too lax, but maybe together this would get a lot easier.

And maybe...

Kai suddenly approached her, snapping her out of her thoughts. The young girl was immensely confused, especially when his hands touched her face. Cielle's cheeks were slightly stung by the coldness of his fingers as he tried to make her smile, making her less than appreciative. "H-Hey!" She cried, immediately trying to flee. "Stop that!"

Featuring Archer

Ugh.

Sonny was so dull and lacking in his vocabulary it reminded Victoire of the books that she had in preschool. The fact that he was so sure that she was following him was utterly hilarious; the poor boy was delusional. Were she, well, not herself, she might have actually been somewhat bothered by his statement. The reality was that she really didn’t care for anything he said, having lost interest at around the third sentence he uttered at her.

Coming to attention as he finally stopped talking, she couldn’t help but fan herself slightly. “My God, the amount of crap you spewed was so boring I actually dozed off mid-conversation,” She admitted, shaking her head. “Does anything you have to say actually matter, or are you literally trying to bore me to death?

”If you really want to be bored to death so badly, Vic, then just listen to a recording of your voice. I can promise you will want to shoot yourself in the head. Kind of like what I want to do right now.” Sonny more-than-willingly admitted with a smile. He lived for a lot of things and getting under Victoire’s skin was high up on that list.

Victoire scoffed at him, entertained by the fact that he was continuing to respond. It seemed they both wanted the last word, but both way too stubborn to actually let the other one have it. “Is that what you want to do? Because there’s a pool right there,” Her left arm pointed towards the water. “So you can go ahead and drown yourself. Don’t worry, no one cares enough about you to save you, so you’re home free!

And in response, Sonny offered her a smile. “Oh how it must hurt to hide your obvious love for me in such a cruel way,” he said to her, still smiling. “If you wanted to see me get all wet, Viccy, you should’ve just said so. I’m sure Diablo has a room available somewhere.” As Sonny spoke, he’d step closer to Victoire, his arm reaching out to her aimed at her waist to further tease and toy with the brunette’s mind.

His comment actually managed to get a genuine laugh out of her, so much so that she didn’t even catch the movement. “Wow, I mean, I know you think I’m hot, but really, Sonny, you need to be a little less obvious with your infatuation,” She said, batting her eyelashes rather dramatically. Her left hand pulled at one of the strings holding her swimsuit together, letting it snap against her skin. “Face it: It drives you insane knowing you wanna fuck the one girl you can’t have.

This game between them was fun, but Sonny wasn’t going to allow her to see just how bothered by her comments he actually was. “So, if you’re ‘off the market’, then why haven’t you pulled away, Victoire?” Sonny asked, looking at her as serious as he could.

Her blue eyes stared right into his, unflinching, untamed. “Because you don’t want me to,” She told him in a low voice, her hand reaching up and pressing against his lower lip. “And I love driving you crazy.” She smirked as she retracted her hand, raising her chin as she studied his face.

Like a moth to the flame, Sonny had her where he wanted her. “Then it’s a good thing I took my Anti-Victoire pills this morning.”

And just like that, in a single moment, Sonny stepped away from the class president, laughing as he had successfully laid the trap by forcing her to admit what she truly wanted. Honestly, he didn’t think it would be that easy. To think the proud and borderline narcissist Victoire Bailey fell for such an easy trap. Swiper the Fox has had a difficult time sneaking up on Dora and Boots than the effort it took to get Vic eating out of the palm of his hand.

“Honestly, Viccy, I thought you were going to put up a bigger fight than that.”

Surprisingly, the brunette was rather calm, her hands on her hips as Sonny spoke. Thing is, her name meant ‘victory’, not defeat. So if he really thought she was going to let him get away with tricking her like that, he was wrong.

Victoire did not like to be made a fool of.

Once again a smile slid onto her face, Victoire moving forward as Sonny moved back. Rather than just stop, however, she essentially pushed herself onto him, making it so that his back was to the counter. Without waiting for a reaction, the brunette took his chin in her hand and kissed him rather passionately. Once their lips broke apart, Victoire backed off, her tongue trailing her upper lip. “Tell Marisol I said ‘thanks’ for letting me have that one,” She winked at him, turning on her heel as she flipped her hair over her shoulder.

As she was walking away, Sonny couldn’t say he was expecting that to happen. He more expected her to react violently. Given how much he knew about Vic, there was a moment before she kissed him to when she turned around that he thought she was going to push him into the drinks table or perhaps even into the pool. Safe to say a kiss was the last thing Sonny Drake was expecting her to do, though her last comment was exactly what he figured she’d say.

“Let’s just keep this our dirty secret. We wouldn’t want your subjects to know you willingly kissed Sonny Drake, now would we?.” Sonny offered to her in a response, grabbing onto Vic’s hand as his other reared around her waist, essentially pulling her close to him.

Archer had just fought his way through the wall of grinding bodies when he spotted something that almost made his eyes pop out of his head. “What the…” he whispered, was that Torvald in a tight embrace with Madam President? And was that a kiss? No, it couldn’t be! He craned his neck to see if that was indeed what he had seen, in the process, he locked eyes with Victoire. The slender boy looked away in a panic trying to figure out the quickest way to escape. Unfortunately, that was back through the dance floor. But he figured that was better than dealing with whatever those two were serving up, he let out a huge sigh and disappeared into the crowd once again.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The scream had jolted the redhead out of her slumber, sleepy eyes immediately alert as a rapid beeping sound was heard. Inhaling, she could smell smoke. Throwing her blankets off of her, she scrambled out of the room, practically throwing herself down the stairs and skidding to a halt right at the scene of the crime. An extremely panicked girl was running around the living room, desperately trying to flap out the smoke from the jacket she had in her hands. On top of the ironing board sat a now-ruined iron, coated in an odd mix of polyester and cotton.

The girl's name was Shimizu Ichika. About a week ago, the two had moved in together, and ever since then, every single day had been composed of Ichika causing some sort of disaster with Shiori having to clean up. Funny enough, Shiori had always figured the 'spoiled rich girl' archetype was just that: an archetype. But seeing it unfold before her day after day had convinced her that yes, people could truly be that hopeless. And as she quickly put together the situation at hand, she was at least grateful this wasn't as bad as the dishwasher incident.

"For the love of--ICHIKA!" She yelled, the long haired girl finally coming to a stop. Letting out a sigh, she extracted "The hell did you do?!"

With giant, watery tears gushing down her face, the normally beautiful looking girl openly sobbed, clinging onto the jacket. "Shiori! I--I was just trying to iron your uniform!" She cried.

So she tried to iron her jacket. And failed. Spectacularly, at that. Walking over to the alarm, she managed to silence it. Letting out a sigh, she eyed the rest of her uniform, which had been surprisingly ironed out well. Ichika must have run into a challenge with the thicker material. Taking her ruined jacket in hand, she examined the burned hole wearily. No way she could wear that.

"It's fine. Let's just get ready," Shiori said, motioning for her to get going.

Looking somewhat crestfallen, Ichika dragged her feet back to her room. Shiori did the same, changing into her uniform, though she ended up pulling on her red sweater in place of the jacket. Ugh, so much for trying not to get in trouble the first day. Granted, it was only a matter of time, but she usually had a few days before either mouthing off to the wrong person or getting into a fistfight with someone.

Her watch beeped at her, and she realized it was time to start walking. Staring at herself in the mirror, she decided to leave her shaggy hair alone as she went to Ichika's room, bombarded by the scent of hair spray and perfume. While Shiori usually just rolled out of bed and was good to go, Ichika had a regime. Every single morning, she'd brush her super long hair out, making sure her waves were perfect before she would finally decide to step out of her room. Surprisingly, she didn't wear much makeup, but her obsession with her hair took enough time as it was.

"How do I look?" Ichika asked, striking a pose in her uniform.

"You look fine. Come on, let's go," She urged.

Ichika was practically skipping as she followed Shiori outside the house and down the road. She didn't seem at all bothered by her new surroundings, only curiously looking around. Shiori had her bag in one hand and the other in her pocket, only focusing on the walk ahead. Soon enough, the duo could see the school not too far ahead. She had to admit, being closer to the school made the walk a lot easier, though she supposed that was thanks to Ichika's mother.

Yoshi had always considered himself a morning person. From the moment he woke up, he was full of energy. And who wouldn't be? It was the first day of school! Something about the first day always seemed magical and exciting to him. So when he woke up, he jumped out of bed, stretching his arms high above his head. Today was going to be a great day! New school, new people, new friends!

With the excitement in hand, he sauntered over to the bathroom, sliding in right before his little sister had a chance to. "You snooze, you lose!" He said as she banged on the door, hollering at him to let her in. Soon after brushing his teeth and washing his face, he opened the door, resulting in their usual argument of him asserting his role as the big brother by pinching her face and then running away before she could hit him.

It was routine, but it was good.

Grabbing his bag and dressed to impress, Yoshi entered the kitchen, spotting his mother on the phone as she put her shoes on. She blew him a kiss when she saw him, exiting the house immediately afterwards. Go figure, he hadn't been expecting her to still be home, but it was a nice surprise. She had even cooked breakfast! Awesome!

Once he gobbled down his food, he was out of the house and on his way, whistling to himself as he walked.
Dos otra ves

The blonde girl's words were probably meant to be comforting, but Hotaru had rather mixed feelings about it. In truth, it wasn't the girl's fault; Hotaru was just having a difficult time wrapping her head around the fact that the chaos unfolding around them was in fact reality. She wanted to go home and go to bed to wake up and find this to be some sort of twisted nightmare. As the dark haired girl was about to respond, the nearby scream causing her to freeze in place. She couldn't look away from the rather grotesque scene, the shock of having it happen so close shaking her inwardly.

Luckily, the girl had acted, pulling her along as they broke into a run. Hotaru wasn't really sure what kept her legs running, though she was grateful for it. Staying alive, that's all she had to do. And right now, that meant running away.

Eventually, the pair came to a halt, Hotaru lightly bumping into her savior as she looked around. The mass amount of people reminded her just how many lives were affected by the titans' invasion. "Do you think we can get on one?" She asked, slightly nervous as she eyed the amount of people desperate to board.
