Dakota's comment had made Lilie sheepish, the white haired girl shaking her head lightly. She wasn't entirely sure where she stood on the level of skill versus someone like Aaron, but at the very least she would be able to put on a show. Hopefully. Considering how much of a bumpkin she felt she was compared to everyone else, she couldn't help but feel somewhat out of place. Everyone seemed to at least know what they're doing or seemed to come from a place where at least they had some semblance of an idea. Lilie felt like she was suddenly thrown into this world of magic and vampires with very little preparation.

Needless to say, the girl felt lost. And not because of Sariel's impromptu tour--albeit seeing much more of the Academy was always a good thing in her book--but maybe all the excitement she had initially felt had started to fade into anxiety. Her hands instinctively began to fiddle with the hem of her dress as she listened to the older woman speak. She remembered Arianna's text and frowned; she didn't think it was coincidence that the two emphasized having friends. Well, what was the worst that could happen?

Speaking of the vampire, Lilie never did give her a proper response. Taking out her phone, her eyes landed on Aaron in front of the group. Did a plan for a spar count? Or rather, the 'date' count? She couldn't help but smile to herself as the thought crossed her mind, and trying to be as stealthy as possible, she quietly snapped a picture of him, sending it to Arianna with a message.

> Made at least one friend. Here's hoping for more!

on that note I'll probably use Eevee
Well, now that Hero has posted, I'll try to post something in the next few days, if not tonight.

"Goodness..."

The auburn haired young woman had to admit that if anything, the group was colorful enough. She didn't know what to expect at first; the only thing she knew was that she was older than the others that had gathered. A few frowns here and there but everyone seemed polite enough. Rosalinda Myles herself was uncharacteristically quiet for once; aside from a quiet hum, she hadn't spoken to anyone yet. Whether it was nerves or just trying to get a read on the group, she wasn't entirely sure. She wanted to make a good first impression, deciding that since she was clearly the oldest, she needed to be the one with a clear head just in case anyone needed help. It was what her sisters did for her, so it was time to pass on the favor.

Right! Time to guide the little ones on the right path!

Except, one decided to march in, another ran off to chase the dog, and the other girl was laughing at the poor boy who was scared half to death by said dog.

Rosie stood there, dumbfounded by the rather quick turn of events. Her eyes looked from the building to the duo still with her to the quickly disappearing body of the girl that had given the dog chase. Well, she wanted to play the big sister, so she may as well pick one and finally do something. Since one girl had decided to enter and the young man--Cal, right, he did introduce himself to...Summer? Yes, Summer--wasn't harmed, so she prioritized getting the young purple haired girl back on track.

Turning towards the flower field, she tried to remember what her father used to do to get a dog's attention. His collar means someone owned him, so he was likely trained. Taking her index and thumb, she took in a deep breath before using them to let out a rather loud, shrill whistle, hoping to catch the dog's attention and lead the girl back to the building.

Ichika followed Ishihara's gaze, watching the grumpy looking cousin of hers. She wanted to think they were friends, but Ichika often felt like she was always imposing or needing to be rescued. The past two weeks had been...rather challenging. The move itself was one thing but she was having a hard time trying to adjust. Her cousin had been patient enough, surprisingly, but it was hard to interact with her socially. She mostly kept to herself, while Ichika loved talking to people and meeting new ones. They had yet to bump heads, but she felt that any day now she'd really mess up.

But none of that was relevant right now. Or at least, that's what she told herself.

Flashing a smile at the girl, she shook her head. "Actually, we're cousins!" She revealed the fact like it was some sort of trivia. "I hope you don't mind, but I'd love it if we could be friends! I just moved to the area, so I don't really know anyone." Nor could she really count on Shiori for all her social interactions.

@ES

Shiori scowled at Juno, displeased. What an ass. He had a point about the contrast, but did he really have to point it out like that? Her eyes briefly flickered to her cousin before looking at the guy in front of her. She supposed she should get used to those sorts of comparisons--the delinquent having a cheerleader as a cousin, what a pair. Letting out a sigh, she lifted her gaze to try to make some attempt at a conversation before he would dismiss her. She was left with her mouth hanging open for a second before she would scoff. So much for a pleasant conversation.

Not in the mood to accompany Little Miss Sunshine, Shiori would instead begin the walk into the school. As Juno wasn't too far ahead of her, she quickened her pace, purposefully shouldering him before continuing forward, throwing him another scowl before carrying on.

@Althiel
@Hero With all due respect. You telling me about Alternative Tundra's problems, isn't relevant/concerning to my comment at all..And I don't exactly understand how someone else's justified real life delays has somehow effected you.

...there have been a slew of IRL events that have been taken precedence including Tundra getting his internet installed as well as a personal event in my own life that has caused me to personally neglect my own sheet even though I have a completed version on my home computer.

And it's relevant because what you said is a GM problem. The GMs should be in contact with players to make sure things are alright/need to be corrected. Therefore the explanation on radio silence is there. Also, you don't know about people IRL; were I living with Tundra, his issues with the internet would have been my own.

So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.
@Hero Quite aware. But I don't think it's ill-deserved. Non-communication, Non-cooperative and non-activity in the players aren't a trifecta one should be seeing in a RP that hasn't started yet.

Not disagreeing. You have every right to be leery; however, it's been said time and time again that the RP is going to be a slow one, and there have been a slew of IRL events that have been taken precedence including Tundra getting his internet installed as well as a personal event in my own life that has caused me to personally neglect my own sheet even though I have a completed version on my home computer. That being said, if you find it dissatisfactory you're more than welcome to leave, it's understandable to have concerns and maybe the RP isn't for you.
While I'm less concerned that the RP hasn't started yet. And I try not to be critical. I am leery that people have had all this time to complete their CS (or fix simple errors already pointed out to them) and haven't...

And at this point it's absolutely not being busy with real life, since other forum posts have been done extensively.

You're being critical in what you're saying.

A date? Lilie seemed surprised by Aaron's choice of words, the white haired girl momentarily muted as the conversation between Aaron and Salem--as he introduced himself with a handshake--continued. Aaron seemed much more social than she was, more composed as he conversed with the nervous young man. She watched politely, not offering much to the conversation but still listening politely. She wasn't exactly the social type, either, so she could understand Salem's hesitance. If it wasn't for Aaron, she was sure she wouldn't be interacting with anyone.

The Noila name stuck out to the girl, causing her to frown slightly. Truthfully, she was mostly ignorant to the politics surrounding the vampire families, her life focused on working, and before her magic was revealed the most she had hoped to do was become an instructor of fencing arts or maybe take over the family bakery some day. Arianna was one of the noble houses, something that had caught her by surprise, but she didn't know much of the Eve family.

The Noila family, however, was one of the few things Lilie was vaguely aware of. Having a relation of any sort to them was a big deal, that much she seemed to understand, and her eyes drifted to Aaron. Now that she was really looking at him, he did seem to have a more refined look to him than others did. The way he spoke was eloquent, his mannerisms dignified and practiced. He seemed to be her opposite in many things the more she thought about it. A formal education, a useful magical affinity, even the way he composed herself. Meanwhile she was clueless, had no idea how to use her magic let alone make any use of it, and was awkward enough that she really didn't know what to do with herself half the time.

Realizing she had been staring, Lilie caught herself and looked away. She wasn't entirely sure if he had caught her or not, but she really didn't want to find out. Daring herself to take a look, she saw Aaron and Salem taking a picture together. As it happened, she heard her phone beep at her, signaling that a text had come in.

> Dear Lilie, I most enjoyed our fencing practice earlier! I hope you also enjoyed the breakfast I made, though if I need to touch up those skills you can tell me without worry. At any rate, I do hope you are enjoying your time with the other mages. Made any new friends?

She instinctively looked at Aaron again, and after a moment, she looked at Salem. Acquaintances, maybe? She would need to interact with them more to really say that much, though she did admit she was more comfortable with Aaron.

> Beyond this, I was thinking perhaps we could do some more some more practice later tonight, and after such talk some more as well! It would be most delightful, truly, and perhaps I could make you dinner too. I look forward to hearing back from you as soon as you can respond to this, my dear~

Arianna really was kind to her, although she felt like she was trying to woo her with her promise of dinner. She didn't respond right away, not wanting to be rude to Aaron and Salem, so for the moment she just quietly pocketed her phone and made sure to pay attention to the conversation. At the very least she can tell Arianna that she did some socializing. As he offered to help Salem with his magic, she wondered if it would be rude to ask him to help her, too. Then again, maybe it was too much to ask.

"It does seem like a good way to mingle with other mages," Lilie finally spoke in agreement, her blue eyes landing on the young man that had turned his back to the conversation, although she would give the pair her attention once again. "I'm eager to learn, even if I feel my water element won't be of much use. But combat, on the other hand..." She gave the Area Guild table a rather confident look, only deflating slightly as she thought of the spar earlier. "I believe I can hold my own quite well."

Interacted with : @Obscene Symphony + @Trainerblue192 | Mentioned : @Crusader Lord

The white haired girl nodded in response to Aaron's assumption, pleased that he remembered her. "Yes, that's right!" She confirmed his assumption. Considering he had been the first friendly face she had seen, she hadn't forgotten his and was genuinely glad to see him again. Her eyes briefly flickered to the young man next to him, who simply turned away. Well, not everyone was going to be friendly, so that was expected.

Lilie's eyes seemed to light up again once the blond man took a note of her weapon. Right, she did remember him carrying one last night as well, but Arianna's arrival had cut their introduction short. Well, this was a good second chance, especially since he would bring up the possibility of a spar. Arianna had shown her that she needed to get a variety of opponents regardless of skill.

Speaking of which, that exact point was brought up just as it crossed her mind. "My mother was a former instructor at the Everett Fencing Academy, though she didn't start teaching me until about...ten years ago, I believe," Her voice trailed off as she tried to remember, but she quickly dismissed it as her enthusiasm returned in full. "A spar sounds like fun--"

Lilie cut herself off as she noticed the young man next to the duo, looking like a mess of nerves. Poor thing seemed rather uneasy, smelling very much like those freshly planted magnolias she had left at her parents' house before she had departed for the Academy. She shook her head at him, giving him a smile to put him at ease. "Ask and ye shall receive," She said kindly.
