Bio

A quick introduction of myself and a few associates of mine

For real though, I'm a Brit who dabbles in most genres of roleplay, but tends to go for fantasy and sci-fi in particular. I prefer high casual, but will use a more or less advanced writing style if I like the concept.

The dagger met some resistance at the demon's thick hide, but slid in after a moment's delay. The demon roared in anger, but Mergoux also had its approval: it would have done exactly the same thing in her situation. Its hand recoiled, and its grip loosened enough that Megoux could breath, but it didn't let go completely. Instead it pulled her up, nearly to her feet as it retracted its arm. As it did so, it looked back and saw one of the other creatures, who Mergoux knew as Nebullius, about to launch some kind of attack. The demon did not know the nature of the attack, but it suspected it was magic or magic-based. Regardless, it had no reason to be hit by such an attack, and a very good reason not to be in one of its hands.

It moved the hand with which it was holding Mergoux (its right hand) from her neck to her left shoulder, and took hold of her with its left hand below her right arm. As it was doing this, it spun to face the creature and ducked behind Mergoux, using her as a shield to block the attack. The demon was unsure whether it was the kind that would hurt her, it definitely had the appearance of a hallowed attack that might only affect it. But what a turn of events it would be if it did hurt her!

Anyway, even the worst possiblilty would be that it would not be hit, which would hardly be something to complain about.
@Pyromaniacwolf Wait... does this mean we might be a proper faction now?
...gun touched his head...

...standing about ten feet behind the Sykrott...

Thought of that already. Can Mal turn around, move nearly ten feet and make an attack in the time it takes Diana to move her finger about an inch? I don't doubt his abilities, but I don't think even he could manage that.
@ChickenTeriyaki If his ship's part of the fleet, I'd rather stick with the theme used for the other ships (names of Greek mythological characters, e.g. Medea, Argos, Heracles). If he's allied to the fleet but officially part of it, any name within reason would make sense, obviously. Anyway, other than that, if the mods accept him then he's in.
@LokiLeo789 Feel free to try. I've done some arena roleplay in the past, Diana can run if necessary, and the fight might be broken up beforehand anyway. Otherwise, I'm sure we can find a way we both get to survive this.
"Fine. Crap, whatever. No deal, I get it." Diana said, angry that she'd been ignored like that. Yes, she'd been planning to steal a fortune from the alien and prepared to kill him if he got in the way, but he had nothing to gain from being a jerk. She, on the other hand, had the world to gain. In her opinion, at least, that excused it. It didn't make things any better that this meant the deal was off as well.

She left him behind and returned to her crewmates and the bar, when she noticed the huge Sykrott get up and leave. There wasn't much extraordinary about this on its own, but the more she watched him, the more something seemed off. Maybe the way he was walking, maybe the way he was watching the man that had left a moment before. Maybe he knew that man for something one had done to the other, maybe he was off his meds, maybe she was just seeing things. Whatever it was, the man looked in too much danger for this to be ignored. After a moment's hesitation, she set off after him.

But of course, she stuck out like a sore thumb. Now on her own, in her uniform with all these modifications. At least there were plenty of aliens, so almost everyone was as weird as her in one way or another. Even then, she'd had no training or even practice in shadowing people. She just did her best to look like she happened to be heading this way, which became more and more difficult as she followed the Sykrott into more and more empty areas.

It'd be sooner rather than later she'd be found, so Diana took what time she had to steel herself for the battle to come.
