hey its jangel13 here, been here a while and I do allot of rp types but I like to join those that have developing powers and character depth. I'm an idea guy and can come up with ant great rp idea with only a little bit of effort but putting it to work in practice is where I have trouble so I usually have a Co gm to help with that. If you remember nothing else about me then remember this: jangel13 never gives up an rp once he starts! I am loyal to the rp and never give up unless the GM does first!
As we looked up we all felt different things fear, excitement, rage, sadness, every emotion that could be described as we looked and saw the monster before us. Nobody else could have done what we did. We were the misfits, outcasts, and the forgotten. We were the worlds only hope, what does that tell you about humanity?
We are getting ahead of ourselves however, this all started a year ago. It was a brand new semester and while nobody knew it yet they would soon come to know our name and respect it. While those with darkness in their hearts would learn to fear us. I am not writing this for it become some famous book or to be heard across the world. This is so we can say that we lived, we are human. So no matter what the public may think of us I will only tell the true side of the story. This is how it all began...
The new school year started out like any other, everyone had put on their summer uniforms as they got ready to go the only high school in the area. This place was known as Kage private high. It wasn't known for a lot but it did have a few things that the public refuses to see. The students however knew the truth. A teacher or maybe even another student nobody knows for sure, what they know however is that recently their has been a string of murders in the school. The only reason that it hasn't been swarmed by the police and media was because nobody could identify the crime scene. The only thing people saw was a patch of blood in some random spot with a finger. Said finger always held a ring that is why all the students stopped wearing rings in the hopes of not being targets. They called them "The Death Husband" cases, mainly since the only thing that could be confirmed was that it was always females and it was always on the ring finger. Their have been a few male fingers found but females were always a main target. These cases are soon what will bring this bunch of strangers together no doubt because they too were victims and the idea that others will suffer like them will no doubt spring them into solving this case...
As she soon made her way to the charity office she soon saw that everyone was already busy at work. That was mainly due to the fact that not many people would want to work for a charity organization. She was soon found by her boss as he told her "Hey Angela Thank god your here. Listen we are just swamped organizing an event at a local school but of course we are having trouble getting it set up. Can you head over and act as their temporary counselor? They have people that need someone to talk to" He said being careful not to say that she was going to help victims of missing person cases since that seemed to much for a rookie to handle. However, he had faith she could handle it unlike the rest of them she was still young enough to understand how the teenage mind works and what to say. Most of them were already hitting their 40s of course. He then gave her the address to the private high school she would be heading to before he left to help someone else get the supplies ready for said event.
Before I make the starter I wanted to ask if you still wanted your character to be a councillor at the school or take the opportunity to make your character a high school girl?
You know those old Saturday morning cartoons you used to watch as a child? Where the hero and his team would always win despite how daunting the task may seem? We were so innocent back then, life was simpler and everything seemed fair. Sadly real life is anything but fair...
In the real world so much pain is normal we dig our heels and endure it for the sake of being part of society. We are told that we have no choice because we live in a world where the rich gain money from other peoples hard work, where art is a business and we buy things just to make ourselves look good, where the one who is meant to instill justice to criminals is actually the biggest criminal himself. People say that so long as you work hard you will be successful and they are the biggest lairs.
Life is unfair but that isn't why you are here. You are here because like everyone else here you resorted to being a criminal in the eyes of the world. Either for revenge, justice, a sense of duty whatever the reason may be. At first you were all victims of the infamous serial murderer blood eye they are called this because the victims eyes bleed and keep bleeding until they simply die from blood loss or infection. It is a horrendous way to go and their is no cure, the only reason you know its not a disease is because of a simple fact. Your loved one, your friend, someone you cared about, they all were given a letter signaling they were the next target. Of course they called police, called in favors, even tried leaving the country. None of these have worked and have all died the same way. Clearly the police wont do their job, are you willing to do anything to get your brand of justice or vengeance? What will happen when you discover that the killer is actually a small cog in a bigger and much darker machine...
First off thanks for reading till the end of that story :) I want to first state that this reality is something I made up save for the persona elements we will obviously be using. As a result we will be delving into new territory, I have only played Persona 5 and what little i know of the universe i learned from someone else so please don't be afraid to join if you find the idea interesting but don't know about persona in general. Keep in mind that what we will do is mostly use the information from Persona 5 which is the most recent game to my knowledge. So first off I will explain what a persona is to those that don't already know:
I will do my best to explain to my own understanding, keep in mind I am using information i have gained through said friend stated earlier and my own experience in the game. I will also provide links to each topic as I explain them.
A Persona is the manifestation of a persons inner self. We all live with a mask that we wear so we can deal with everyday life. These masks come in many forms of course and appear because we try to fit into society instead of going against it. This could be as simple as pretending to be smarter then you actually are in class or to the more extreme of blending in while having murderous impulse within a psychopath killer. However these masks are formed they are created and left deep inside our hearts where a normal person wouldn't ever reach or change. Certain conditions need to be meet in order to even have ones mask rise to the surface. I will explain that later of course, however when one rips off their mask this is a literal sense of discarding the you that followed the rules, discarding the you that endured everything simply to fit in, and discarding of the you that you simply couldn't accept anymore. This then leads to what is known as your "persona manifestation" this causes your true self to come to the surface and fight under your command. Next thing to understand is Arcana:
Arcana refers to the character themselves and is connected to a persons persona. The Arcana refer to the 22 tarot cards of the same name. The tarot or Arcana is more closely related to the person and how they act. Sometimes that Persona's fate matches that of the player character, or personality attributes, and so on, but they in some fashion need to be similar. They are big indicators of how your character acts as a person both in the real world and in the second one where your persona can manifest which will be explained another time. Think of the Arcana as a representation of your character and how they act around other people. I will write a list on the Arcana as it will be first come first serve. For now simply look through the list i will provide and make your character at the very least similar to what is described for whom you choose to be. Keep in mind that reverse tarot will be allowed. The fool: He who begins the journey is a jack of all trades, he is the one that unites the others as they travel down the path
The Magician: The one who uses their talents in order to realize their potential they the magic wielders the ones of knowledge and skill
The Priestess: She with hidden knowledge and the one with hidden power yet to be tapped
The Empress: The mother that loves, she who fertility, comfort, and protection come naturally and feels for others
The Emperor: He who seeks control and will do everything to attain it for they feel no other path is acceptable
The Hierophant: He who delivers education and is the spiritual seer to all
The lovers: They who reveal the spirit of romance, the crossroads of the easy path or the right path
The Chariot: They who are driven and determined to make their own path
Justice: They who their form of justice be it revenge or fairness do so at a critical trial
The Hermit: He who asks why and gains knowledge at the expense of solitude
Fortune: They who seek opportunity and believes in adaptation rather then luck
Strength: They who believe in self control and virtue rather then brute force
The Hanged Man: The survivor who is pulled between the two realities of their existence
Death: They who embody metamorphosis and change and search within the mystery of death itself
Temperance: They who seek balance within their lives
The Devil: They who do everything for themselves and give into greed and impulse
The Tower: He who is his own greatest enemy and runs towards their own ruin
The Moon: They who hide themselves by trying to be the ideal person and as such has hidden depths
The Sun: They who are the light no matter the darkness of the situation

First you are all victims of the blood eye cases
Secondly you feel you need to find the killer it doesn't matter what reason you give your character but you must feel it strongly enough to go to any lengths to find said killer.
Your characters must have both these requirements in order to join this rp please know that this will allow this group to form more cohesively and with greater direction. After all none of you know each other and their is no reason to trust one another but these two facts are what will give the group its common goal to strive towards despite this.

Rules: 1. What the Gm and co Gm says is law but we will listen to reason and will take suggestions. 2. You can kill each other but only if both parties agree to the death. 3. I don't mind if you get into a heated discussion OOC, however, any arguments that become name calling and hostile I will ask that you go to your PM we are not children so don't act like it. 4.Your Persona must be based off a realistic or fictional character: good examples are Arsene Lupin, Zorro, Genghis khan Bad examples: Naruto, Ichigo, Or making something up 5. You must follow at least a few of the behaviors of your chosen Arcana within your character, they don't need to be exact but enough that you can say you follow its example 6. Have you ever looked into a mirror and noticed something out of place? Did you ever wonder if those rumors about bloody Mary in the mirror or some other spirit was waiting on the other side? Their is, you just never realized it...
This is the universe where our heroes will go in order to find their killer and uncover the mystery of the killers motive.The world beyond the mirror holds the you that you hide within yourself in this world you see yourself without the mask you wear for everyone else. More often then not the mirrored you is simply a shadow of your true self however to a select few through hardship or tragedy they realize that enough is enough. When they rip off their masks in the mirror world they don't simply change they become the persona they were meant to be.
As one would expect the mirror realm is filled with "people" so to speak. They are the merely shadows of the people that they are in real life and as such hold all the anger, sadness, and emotions that would normally be hidden from view. However, for those of black hearts are what are known as the shadow mirror. These are cracks in reality where their distorted feelings conjure a world of their own making that can only be accessed by a mysterious app...
Alright since it seems clear that our other two role players aren't going to be here and we still have you the loyal and new I'm going to give us a reset. I'm going to set up another rp and we will take it from the top. If you want to remake your characters in that change I won't say no. It will be up in the coming days
