Digimon: Materialization

Okay, I'll get to work on a reply after work, folks.

Next Sunday, AD [looking for military sci-fi, fantasy, and more!]

Bumping. After finally seeing the Adam Driver movie 65, I'm interested in a similar plot-- a sci-fi story pitting humans (and/or humanlike aliens) from the future survive against the most deadly creatures of Earth's prehistoric past . However, I'd like to emphasize that these are animals that the characters are trying to survive, not monsters.

While I would love a story featuring more accurate dinosaurs, I'm not opposed to dinosaurs that are more like ARK: Survival Evolved's-- being based on real animals, and based on theories about the animals, but with some creative liberty taken for flavor.

I'm sorry, but with some IRL health issues, I've been a bit distracted. I'm still very much interested in keeping this RP going. At the moment I'd like to wait for other players to post, but if nobody posts by Monday, then I'll get something out.

@Martian I'd like to be something of the dino expert. You know, that one guy who has a very niche hobby and everyone made fun of them for it, but without them the group would probably die in a week.

Advent of the Dawn — A Mecha Musume/Tokusatsu-Inspired RP (Interest Check; Reboot)

@PKMNB0Y I took part in the last attempt, so I'm tempted to throw my hat in the ring. However, I'm not sure if I'd be up to snuff.

Digimon: Materialization

Curious, Tamaki opened up the player scan. Sure enough, all of the people nearby were playing the game. In a way it comforted her, knowing they had something in common. But still, she didn't exactly want to chat. Glancing around, it seemed that at least one of the other people was a lot like her. At the very least, that was the vibe they gave off. One young lady, however, gave off a much more... interesting aura. "Excitable" wasn't the right word, but it was the closest thing that Tamaki could put her finger on.

The girl did her best to smile, though it came off stiff and forced. Actual smiles for her were few and far between, at least when she wasn't watching something online. Tamaki glanced at the boy who'd spoken up about the X-Antibody Event. She shook her head. "N-No, I'm not," she answered. "I was just... uh... out for a walk with my Digimon." It wasn't a complete lie. Taking Kuro out for walks like this was a good way to get XP and data. However, Tamaki wasn't just going to say she was out here because of something she saw on an anonymous image board.

But an X-Antibody Event was a good thing to participate in. The X-Antibody made Digimon stronger, but as a game mechanic, it sometimes meant that Digimon would disobey orders in combat. However, there was a known glitch related to the X-Antibody... that sometimes X-Antibody Digimon left in farms would straight-up disappear, and then reappear days or weeks later. Hypnos had addressed this once on ChirpLine, calling it an extremely rare bug that they still hadn't been able to pinpoint in the code.

I'll get a reply out either later today or tomorrow. Been feeling pretty bleh the last few days. I think the best comparison is the groan/sigh that Norman makes in this short.

EDIT- My next post has been written offline, and I'll get around to posting it from my laptop when I get home from work tonight.
