Flin nodded at Ellorei as she spoke. He stared with great interest at the flames that she was controlling. It was remarkable, to say the least. Her story fascinated him as well. She saw living in the wilds more like a blessing than a burden. Flin would likely never be able to walk around safely if he were to venture without a caravan on his own. There were so many things to learn and to see in the world. As the rock hit Ellorei in the face, he chuckled. "Yep, sure seems like a cranky old guy, alright." He responded. Where the heck did that rock come from? He turned to Ellorei when she asked him if he trusted her. "Um, yea! Sure." He said calmly, somewhat excited that he could do something with a druid. Flin was usually more cautious when being near strangers, but his curiosity was having the better of him. Besides, Ellorei was helping them and she didn't seem hostile anyway.
Flin listened closely to Ellorei, and then glared at the ground. "Hey buddy, I only have 4 hours of sleep y'know!" He whined to it. That's when he realised. He was talking to a bunch of rock, which made him look crazy. He looked a little embarassed, but looked at Ellorei. "Um...anyways." He began. "I wouldn't be surprised that some soldiers in Arcadia would be the cause of nightmares. But most simply do what they're ordered, which doesn't involve doing horrible things. They do it either because they need the payment for the job, or because they want to see the world. In my case, it's a bit of both." Flin admitted, with a smirk.

"Curiosity can be a dangerous thing, but it can also be good." He added. "How do you survive in the wilderness as a Druid? Do you ever need to be afraid of any creatures at all?" He asked. He was clearly curious about Druids as well. He'd read about them in the past, but this was the first time that he'd actually ran into some.
Baeshri Pass, Caravan Centaurus

Flin nodded at Daelin and glanced down at the ground as he mentioned cracks, and narrowly avoided his left foot from slipping in. "Heh, that was close.." Flin mumbled. He yawned once more, following closely behind Ellorei. He scanned his surroundings while remaining within the light she created, keeping his guard up. He smiled at Illorei. "Thanks for doing this." He spoke calmly. The light and safety that Ellorei provided in the darkness was a god-send, but it also made them easy to spot for anything or anyone that might be nearby. He kept an eye on Ellorei occasionally, in case she tried something funny. She seemed nice enough, but appearances could be deceiving. He felt more at ease with Noru and Daelin nearby. They could both be pretty crafty if the situation called for it.

Berganfont, Lilith's Keg

Shane frowned a little when Lilith wasn't smiling. It wasn't as if he expected her to always smile. It was always a struggle to survive in this town, after all. But she usually never seemed sad. He scratched the back of his neck as he spoke. "Ehh...he's payed a bit. Enough to stay alive! I wish he payed more, though. I'm always really close to being completely broke." Shane said, giving a small smile. Perhaps he hid his misery as much as she did. But she certainly had more on her mind than he. "But hey, I ain't about to let that discourage me! If he doesn't pay much for just one criminal, it just means I need to bring in some more, right?" He said confidently. He always tried to stay positive as much as he could. "How about you? Have you been doing alright?" He asked, a tone of concern in his voice. Even if he couldn't help Lilith, simply talking about it could be relieving.
Shane smiled at Peter as he walked away, and looked over at Lilith. He chuckled a little. "Sorry, I thought it might bother ya so early in the morning." He said, standing up from his chair. He made sure to place it back in it's original position at the table, and walked over to Lilith. He sat down on a stool at the bar. "Nice morning, huh? Ain't a single cloud in the sky." He mused. Lilith was certainly dedicated to keep everything clean, that was for sure. But he didn't mind. The atmosphere was still a lot better here than it was at the square.
Shane smiled at Peter, but felt a little nervous. He wasn't sure if that meant that the price on the cheaper dishes went up, or the more expensive ones went down. If prices went up, he wouldn't be able to afford a dish. "Alright, I think I'll go with a vegetable dish then!" He told Peter cheerfully. His stomach roared softly, as if a bear cub was crying out for it's mother. Shane looked down and glared at his stomach. "Shhh!" He told it, holding his index finger in front of his mouth to signal for it to be quiet.
Flin nodded, and headed over towards the front of the caravan. He leaned against the wall in his usual lazy way, looking back at the others. "Alright...Daelin, can you lead the way? You have the most experience with scouting in our crew." He said to his companion, and then looked over at Ellorei. So the male druid was called Rem, and the other one was called Ell, apparently. "Uh...Ell, was it? I think you should stick close to Daelin, as I assume that you're the one who would be lighting the area up with your magic." Flin stated. "I'll be right behind you." He added. He waited until the two would begin moving out, ready to follow them.
Flin glanced at Zay and rose his shoulders briefly for a moment. He wasn't sure what the captain expected. The storage room was a mess, and it wasn't like there was a kitchen on board to properly prepare meals. He wasn't much of a cook, anyway. He grabbed the food and put it back where he'd found it. He headed back towards the group. "Considering Pyra is knocked out and Lyullia would probably have a hard time standing, I think I should be one of the people to search for Marilyn. The captain took on several Myti at once, so he's most likely exhausted as well. I believe that Neale, Daelin and one of the druids would probably be the best choice to come with me." Flin said calmly. He also hoped he'd get the chance to observe a druid in action, which wasn't something he'd see every day.
Flin groaned loudly in an annoyed way in response to Zay's order. But he still stood up. "Yea, yea.." He muttered, and wandered off into the storage room. There were still some supplies scattered about, and those that were placed around neatly by Pyra were out of order. He began to search for one of the crates holding food, until his foot bumped into something. He looked downwards, and suddenly smiled as he recognised what he found. He managed to find his guitar, which luckily seemed mostly unharmed despite some cracks here and there. Of course, it had always looked like a piece of crap anyway. Despite that, it made Flin feel more cheerful. He put it on his back and kept searching for food.

Eventually, he found one of the crates labeled "Food Supply". He popped the top of the crate off, which was designed in such a way that it would be easy to open and close at any time for anyone. He reached into it, and grabbed two food packages filled with potato's, vegetables and meat. He closed the crate again and left the storage room, carrying the packages. He placed one on the ground beside Rem, and one on the side of the round table closest to Ellorei. "Here you are." He said with a smirk. He sat back down on his chair and yawned. The man had only slept for about 4 hours, after all.
Shane smiled back at Lilith, giving her a small nod. Despite his hunger, he didn't mind waiting. As Peter walked over, he listened closely and waited until the boy was finished speaking. "Oh, alright!" He replied kindly, to the fact that no meat dishes were available. He paused and looked a little embarassed. "Ehh...what's your cheapest dish?" He wheezed. The boys truly did their best to serve their customers, which was something Shane appreciated. The food was always brought quickly, too.
Berganfont - Lilith's Pub

Shane smiled back at the boys as they ran off, calmly walking inside. The inside of the pub was incredibly clean and well-maintained as usual. This was probably one of the few places within the Low Houses that was so clean on the inside. The man sat down gently at one of the tables, calmly waiting for someone to show up. Now that he was inside, he felt that it was safe enough to check how much money he truly had. He pulled out his bag of gold for a moment, counting quickly. He gulped for a moment, but then sighed in relief as he put it back into his pocket. It looked like he would just have enough to pay for his meal today. He really needed to find himself another criminal to go after. It was that, or starve. But he wasn't about to let that ruin his day. It wasn't the first time that he was low on cash like this, and it would likely not be the last.
