I did have a mando I had been working on for something else that could possibly work. That or a Jedi that is more dark leaning and more of a general similar to Anakin.

Mando- super honor bound Mando who wants to see Mandalore returned to its former glory like the days of old.

Jedi- a Jedi who sides with Jedi and isn’t ruthless but feels that in war time they have to set aside feelings to achieve victory for the greater good. Similar to ends justify the means.

I also had a small idea for a Admiral character but not much on that one.

-Cybernetic Arm A cybernetic limb starting from his left shoulder, although designed to mimic a Rodian arm and hand it is not a perfect reconstruction. Fitted with a Dur-24 wrist laser
-Cybernetic Leg, unlike the arm Debecca’s leg is clearly Cybernetic foregoing the real looking as his leg would rarely be seen by others, starts at his kneecap.

-Ace Pilot, With ten years of combat experience Debecca is a damn good pilot and it’s been said that a few different commanders have gotten in fights trying to secure his skills.
-Decent Shot, although not a dead eye Debecca still trains almost daily with his blaster to keep himself capable in case of a ground fight.

| {Limitations} |

-Not good in the cold. Due to his cybernetic limbs alongside his almost reptilian nature Debecca doesn’t do as well in the cold. In mildly cold environments his nubs will start to pain him which can lead to all the normal symptoms of being constantly in pain.
-Still not used to this, although it has been three years since his accident Debecca still isn’t fully used to his cybernetic arm just yet. he may fumble to grab onto something with it or misjudge his reach at times.

Due to leading a hard life, Debecca doesn’t open up to people quickly. He comes off as stern and harsh quickly getting to the point of what he is trying to say. But once you get to know him you find out he does care about his comrades even if he doesn’t outright show it all the time. Also luckily despite his skills he doesn’t come off as a hotshot pilot who brags about every time they down an enemy.

Born on Corellia Debecca was Orphaned at an early age, and with no one willing to take care of him he grew up on the streets. his first few years or urchin life was filled with stealing what he could and taking whatever handouts others were willing to give him. That all changed on the day he tried to pickpocket from a Charles Esscan, Admiral in the Republic Navy. On that day Debecca received the beating of his life. But for some reason Admiral Esscan decided to show mercy and after beating the child half to death took him home treated his injuries and even allowed Debecca to stay in his home. After an examination it was determined Debecca was 9 at this time, and although he now had a home he was till alone with no real family.
During this time at Admiral Esscan’s estate Debecca was put through intense training as Admiral Esscan was grooming the child to become a soldier. Each day was a new set of drills followed by housework, then more drills, and finally well after dark he was able to return to the hovel that was his home. Through these years the young boy was broken and reforged countless times. Even as the Clone Wars came to their “close” things didn’t really change, the flag above Admiral Esscan’s home changed from that of the Galactic Republic to that of Mandalore. Infact the only real change was that Debecca’s training was increased and the boy was pushed harder, and it all copulated to what was his 15th birthday in which Admiral Esscan officially adopted the boy and sent him off to the military academy on Corellia. After the hellish regiment his father had put him through for all those years the Military academy was nothing. Debecca was top of his class in almost every aspect. And blew through the academy courses with ease. Although at this time he was little more than a robot doing as he was programed.
After graduating Debecca almost instantly enrolled into the republic Navy as a pilot. He has spent the past 14 years in the military with multiple tours of duty spent fighting for Empire against the CIS. It was these years away from his father’s influence that Debecca started to open up again he grew from being a robot programed to kill into what he would like to consider a decent person. After years of hard work Debecca had worked his way up to Lieutenant (Assuming were using Navy Ranks) But then three years ago it happened, Debecca was shot down, Tatooine… it had to be Tatooine… His ARC fighter was shot down after escorting a bombing run on a CIS facility. It was a bad crash the rest of his crew died after the ship slammed into one of the nearby settlements. Debecca himself would have died if it hadn’t of been for some locals who pulled him out of the wreckage. But he did not come out unscathed. Although he was saved, he lost his right arm and leg in the process. After he was returned home Admiral Esscan immediately put in the rec to have his son fitted for Cybernetic replacement limbs.
Debecca has spent most of the last three years in rehabilitation after the accident and with him finally being cleared to return to action he reenlisted with a new gift from his father a Z-95 headhunter Heavy variant giving him the ability to pilot a decent fighter without having to have a crew to help or hinder him, as his father blamed the original crash on the incompetence of the co-pilot after reviewing the black box. Debecca also has put his name on the list to become a pilot of the T-65 X wing if the ship becomes available

OK, I'm looking at fandom and the headliner states that by the time Clone Wars occurred many Mandalorians rehabilitated and quit their warmongering ways.

However it's an AU and combat looks like it's going to be a central element of the story.

I don't have a question because I think the answer is Yes, there will be Mando combat. I think that with the government being directed by Mandalore, there would have to be heavy levels of politicking and security. I don't know.

So using the fandom as a source for your research is not a valid source, I can direct you towards wookiepedia, which is a wiki dedicated to Star Wars. Both Canon and Legends (which is where the canon for this rp draws from). Further, the opening post to this interest check does say that Mandalore is now ruled by Mandalore the Paladin, a distinct change from canon and Legends.

While Mandalore is not nessecarily warmongering, they are not the pacifists we previously saw. This meaning that if War comes, the Mandalorians will not hesitate to answer in kind.

With the Republic of Mandalore being an established entity, there will be chances to do politics and the like.

Just figured I would clear things up for you that Mandalore are not by any stretch the pacifists we saw around this time in canon.

So are we able to play whomever we want (within reason) in this Galaxy as a whole? Or are we all like members of one faction. Just asking to clarify, there ain't a lot SW going on on the guild right now so I'm looking around.

So in this RP we will be focusing on the Mandolorian Republic, and through that the Jedi Enclaves associated with the Republic. So you're welcome to play a large variety of characters (within reason), they would need to have a reason for working for the Mandolorian Republic.

The man was sitting quietly while the Black Widow seemed to consider something, and he worried that she might be suspicious of him. Not over the secret of time travel he was thinking about, as that was simply too absurd for her to guess out of the blue he would think. Instead, he worried that for some reason she had grown suspicious of him for being a part of Hydra as a part of their talk in there. Although she had really only asked him about his past, and he had not lied. She would know if he had. Yet it seemed so unnatural to Roman for Agent Romanoff to just be sitting there for a few moments if something wasn't up.

Then she thanked him, and started taking off his power dampeners and the cables for the Polygraph. It once more struck him as odd that she had literally just asked him the baseline questions, then decided it was over. Once again, Roman wondered about if there was some sort of problem. He definitely felt like something was up after that brief of an interview from her. Still, he definitely couldn't complain about getting those damned dampeners off. They were so uncomfortable and made him feel physically ill, that he didn't really know what to do with himself while they were on. Still, she had dismissed him and told him not to leave the campus. With a small nod, Roman left the room before going off to find something that had been on his mind besides time travel since that interview started. Without a moment of hesitation, he started heading towards the cafeteria.

Time Travel was neat and all, but the man needed food before he could think about anything else.
