That sort of just kills the character development ark everyone would have had. Their first interactions and whatnot. Aka killing the best part of a crossover roleplay.
I propose making the characters with inactive players NPC's for the time being.
That could also work. I'm only controlling a single character The moment so I could help
really I'm up for anything that keeps this rpingg going
St. Laurel's id down! There's a healthy amount of intrigue in there for all players involved. I'll edit this post in with the other two factions when I finish them.
St. Laurel's School of Academic Excellence
St. Laurel's has perhaps the longest, and most prestigious history of any high school in the city of Rhea. Named, of course, after St. Laurel, a saint who had been blessed by the Goddess of Victory, and had known only victory throughout his entire life. What they don't tell you of course, is how unfulfilled he was in life. A man who only knew victory, the very man the accolades of victory were named after, didn't feel as if he knew what victory was.
St. Laurel disappeared one day, long after the battle against the Ancient Evil was over. The people were confused, and searched for him. But over time, they understood that perhaps he didn't want to be found. Later they elevated his status to that of a Saint, a title typically given after death but who would be able to deny that he was gone?
Nowadays the latter half of the story is all but forgotten. Nevertheless, the school which bore his name did also seem to bear his blessing. St. Laurel's has been nigh undefeated for decades, and they now boast the highest population of students as well. Their facilities are top notch, the teachers are paid, and this current generation of students boasts some of the highest potential they've ever seen throughout the entire lifetime of the school itself.
But there are rumours, of course. They say in the dark of night, the Ancient Evil stalks the shadows. They never forgot what Laurel had wrought upon them, and we're trying to find a way to destroy his legacy. The school denies such rumours, of course, but regardless those rumours have been spreading with increasing speed. Even with nightly patrols it's impossible to see what lurks behind every shadow, after all. There is also a rumour that St. Laurel still lives, after all this time. A much more fanciful rumour, to be sure, but if there is no evidence of his death, then the possibility remains.
Still, there is a time for chasing rumours, and that time is not one month before the tournament of the year. The responsibility to set aside such frivolous ideas in favour of a tangible opponent belongs squarely on the shoulders of the Student Council President; Alto Ganze.
Student Council President
The student council president hider, doesn't seem to have anything ? Also, I'm interested in this!
@KoL@TheWindel Cool. Well, I'll get started on a character. I just have one question: have machina user's reached the point were they're capable of directly manipulating a human soul like with experiments and augmentations?
@jynmi88@RumikoOharaBoth of you are approved. I'd like to get at least one more player before starting, though. Most of my RPs died because I only had 3 players including myself. It's hard to keep the story going with so few players.
True, but sometimes too many people causes problems like when you get held up because of people not responding. Four seems good though.
@Legion-114@Grnmachine@Lmpkio We might have to assume we're the only ones left and write ways for our characters to continue on without the others, and just assume they somehow made their ways out on their own.
Either than or recruit for the thread (which would be better after finishing this first arc) or do a soft reboot(which is always iffy )
@Shiyonichi The purple haired former marine smirked at the red eyed swordsman, and said something vague about being free if she needed a work out.
@Crimson Lion Abbygail turned her attention to the swordsman and nodded. I've got no plans and any plans I might have are rendered mute without a ship to get me anywhere.
@grandia20 The short woman took a moment to take in what the red haired man said before sighing. "Just don't drink too much. You don't want to forget yourself, touch something you shouldn't, and then we all have to bear the burden of listening to you complain about how hard it is to get things done with all your joints facing the wrong direction."
@Noodles The two men began to thank the crew for their willingness to help, but paused at Janet, unsure of how to continue. "Pirates?" Each of the members pointed towards themselves. "We're fishermen."
Anyways." Abbygail cut in before the men could say more. "It looks like we're in so you don't have to worry about any more impressing onto to us the dire severity of the situation." She put her hands on her tiny hips. "So, when do you need us to go?"
Again, the men paused. "We can leave as soon as the rest of you are ready to go, but I'm afraid we really couldn't wait any longer than the morning."
At that the purple haired woman gave a nod. "I'm about done for the night anyways. You guys wouldn't happen to mind if I got an early night's rest on your boat?"
The men shook their heads. "No. Of course." The captain started moving. "We have plenty of space for all of you to sleep comfortably. Come" He said to Abbygail and anyone else who wanted to turn in. "I'll show you to your quarters and we'll leave as soon as everyone's on board." He paused to turn back to the ones who were still standing where they were. "But again, we can't wait till past the morning. On or not we'll leave without you."
He pointed towards, again, the only ship in the harbor. "Again, we're right over there whenever you guys are ready to turn in. Just call and either me or my first mate here we'll come to let you in."
