Yeah since I've gotten to the parts where Crocodile is interacting with them and enacting Operation Utopia I feel more comfortable us having Sora and Riku and Renard and the OCs land during the Alabasta Arc. Kay? :P

Also I have an OC villain who could be a sort of honorary member of Org XIII who are working alongside Baroque Works.

I could see that working, because all the chaos going on at the time, it would make perfect sense that our group would be able come in unnoticed.

Question: should I avoid getting a cannon devil fruit then, since our characters will be interacting with cannon characters?

Just FYI I've JUST finished the Drum Island arc and am trying to wade my way through the episodes where nothing is really happening to get to the actual manga content. So I'm not as familiar as most with the One Piece lore.

Wouldn't it be easier to just read the manga?

Also, I'd prefer something new, but an interesting way to do it might be to have our characters do something that's set in one of the previous arcs, and we'll be doing that while the Straw hats do they're own thing?

Wish I could help, but I've never actually seen an episode of One Piece. Only read the manga ^.^;

Well the first two DFs I like, and are the front-runners, are the Ope-Ope no mi, and goro-goro no mi, for obvious reasons.
As for fruits of my own, here are a few I think might work in the rp.

*Ryu-Ryu no mi model thunder dragon-A legendary zoan type devil fruit that allows to transform the user into either a full on dragon, or dragon-human hybrid. It's capable of manipulating electromagnetic waves, and generating electrical blasts in its fully transformed state.

*Niji-niji no mi-A paramecia type devil fruit which allows the user, through a method I haven't quiet decided on yet, to activate one of the seven colors of the rainbow. With each color granting a different ability

*Bijon-Bijon no mi-A paramecia type devil fruit in which the user, upon making eye contact with the enemy, can trap them in an illusion which they can freely control and any injuries or damage that the user takes while in this state, happens to their physical body.

*Katto-katto no mi, a paramecia type devil fruit that revolves around cutting, severing, or keeping things apart(doesn't sound like much but can be op)

*Caesi-Caesi no mi, a zoan type devil fruit that allows the user to create, manipulate and transform into Caesium

*Kakeru-Kakeru-A paramecia type devil fruit that allows the user to manipulate multiplication

*Div-Div no mi-A paramecia type devil fruit that allows the user to manipulate division

*Bureku-Bureku no mi-A paramecia fruit that allows the user to ignore an object's structural integrity, and thus cause anything the user desires to crumble to dust with a touch

*Glass-Glass no mi-A paramecia type devil fruit that allows the user to transform anything he touches, including energy and special attacks, into glass.

Well, I haven't chose my character's Devil Fruit yet (Keep thinking up new fruits or different pros/cons of other fruits) but I can post and just limit to her none-Df abilities?

A WIP. It's pretty much done for the powers/ abilities section. I know she'll have haki, Geppo, Rankyaku, Soru, and a devil fruit. Just can't decide which devil fruit to give her. Though, the two main contenders are the Ope-ope no mi, and Goro-Goro no mi.

HISTORY:
Abigail is the end result of several hundred years of selected breeding which were conducted on a hidden island in the new world, whose sole purpose was to understand everything there was to understand. Normally, members of the society stayed on the island to pursue whatever field of research peaked their interest, but that wasn't the case for Abigail, who lusted for adventure, to test her own worth against the world outside the Luficer island defenses.
It was clear that the island was too small a world for Abigail, but the elders refused to grant her permission to leave to chase flights of fancy. As agitating as it was for her, she respected the elder's orders, but only because her favorite teacher advised her so. Which, didn't last as people who pushed the limits of nature didn't tend to be long for the world.
Abigail didn't go to her teacher's funeral. Instead, she went to the island's vault, and took the man's devil fruit, believing it to be necessary for her trip in the new world. From there it was just a matter of stealing one of the islands boats and sailing off into the sunset.
PERSONALITY:
Abigail is a brilliant, confident, open minded, and logical individual who constantly craves stimulation. She's capable of seeing the bigger picture, for the most part, but has been known to be blinded by her own pride. While she does find men interesting, she has a somewhat weakness for women with long dark hair.

At the moment I have an idea for two characters, but I wanted to get your opinion on one before I start working on the CS. Basically, she's a jumper from a futuristic world, who jumps from world to world, gaining new abilities/ skills with each stop.

Question, how common is traveling between worlds in this universe? I mean it is something super rare, somewhat rare, or even common enough that most individuals are aware that there are jumpers?

Also, sorry if that question was already answered. I didn't see it in the ooc
