Star Wars: Breakable Peace.

The stars all shining in the darkness in space, the quiet is soon interrupted as a loud noise erupts from nowhere. The sound is like if one were to take the wah effect from a guitar and use that on the eruption of a planet. A big light erupts from the black hole that has sudden opened like there was a rip in the galaxies. Out comes from it is a large solid white ship, with gold all around it. The nearby planets send planetary defenses only for the all of the ships to be crushed as though by a large hand all of the debris falling to the planet below. The ship's front opens up and a bright yellow light erupts and a large laserbeam sweeps across the galaxy like a lightsaber, but no planets are destroyed, but there is no life left upon them. Barren...destroyed in essence..and the force..gone from everything. The ship then returns to the hole in the galaxy leaving no trace but the destruction and wasteland left behind, that it ever existed.

Kaandar stood as the dust swirling around him in the old tomb of a long forgotten masked sith lord. One of his red lightsabers ignited, his eyes hidden behind his own mask. His hood and robe remained on, The Dark Jedi, had found his way to Korriban and made his name as one to destined to be sith. A academy student had come into here to try find some source power. He had not returned so they had sent Kaan to find a body, instead he found the student shriveled up and pleading for Kaan to help him. He did. He cut the pathetic fool's life short and cut him down. He pressed onward deeper into the tomb. He had stopped as he heard a noise ahead of him sounded like a slurping noise. Upon the activation of his blade his red saber's glow cast a small light as a sudden stomping came forward. A large Terentatek stood before him as it let forth a large roar shaking the tomb, it charged at Kaan who jumped up as far as he could his robe being left as the creature slid past him as he turned masked face still looking at the Terentatek. He landed behind it the second lightsaber igniting. This left the sound of breathing behind him to be revealed. A second one! Kaan quickly and slammed both blades into the creature's jaw, and split it apart by slicing apart. The creature fell swinging and grasping at the pained area, before Kaan tossed a Cryoban grenade into it's gullet, ice exploding from it's head and mouth killing it. He turned looking at the other who seemed angered more that Kaan had killed the other. He charged at Kaan who jumped again but this time it was ready turning smacking him against a wall. He slid down the wall a bit stunned. "You're a bit smarter.." He stood and brought his hand up, a blast of force lightning erupting as it sent the beast reeling into the wall where Kaan sprang and shoved both his crimson blades into it's chest, but it fought still clawing and scratching at him and tried to pull it self off the handles. Kaan smirked and used both hands to summon lightning, using the handles as conductors. The blades' handles sending the electric current throughout the creature's body frying it. Kaan would force pull the blades to him as he picked up his robe sliding it on, he kept moving till he found what the creatures had been protecting. A large gray crystal highly force sensitive. Kaan shrugged took it and walked out of the temple, closing the door behind him. He would follow the grounds up to the academy where he would give the news of the student but he did not bring up the crystal. He was smarter than that. He went to his dorm to place the crystal into his lightsaber to see what affect it had on his lightsaber.

Cain Sunstrider



Class: Jedi Knight

Alignment: Lawful Good

Current Planet Occupying: Coruscant

Personality: Cain Sunstrider has always strived to place the good of others before himself, giving the impression of a romantic hero of the people. He is totally devoted to the Living Force, seeing it as a means to attain enlightenment through meditation. When not found with the people, Cain can be found in the Jedi Temple meditating on the teachings of Masters past. Though against the Code of the Jedi, Sunstrider does pride himself on his proficiency of lightsaber combat. But through and through, the young Knight is a devout follower of the Jedi way and its principles.

Backstory: Cain Sunstrider was born on to a merchant father and a Grey Jedi mother on Corellia. Though not very rich, his father did all that he could to support his family which eventually led to their transfer to Cain’s new home on Coruscant. At an early age, the boy displayed the aptitude for utilizing the Force when he lifted his toys while playing with other children. Delighted to see her son had the “gift,” she took him under her wing to teach him the ways of the Living Force until he was old enough enroll at the Jedi Academy. Though his father was also happy to see the Force was strong in his son, he was also hesitant to allow his tutelage to begin at the Academy. Having watched his wife suffer for her marriage and birth of their son, Cain’s father thought it would be impossible for his child to become a Jedi.

When Cain was finally of optimum age, he travelled with his mother to the Jedi Temple to speak with his future masters. Standing before the Council of First Knowledge, young Sunstrider passed every test they could throw at him. But before he would be allowed tutelage under the Academy, the masters instructed Cain to break ties with his mother so he would be free of her influence; seeing that Jedi and the Grey Jedi were conflicting ideals. Unable to commit such an act, Cain turned to his mother for guidance and was dumbfounded when she agreed with the masters’ decision. But she also reminded her young boy, that one day he will make his own choices and he will decide his path. Seeing his mother’s wisdom, he bid her and his father goodbye (for now) and went on to become a Padawan.

Years flew by as the boy became a teenager, studying and training to the limitations his being would allow him. His masters took note at his devotion to the Jedi and to the good of the people; granting him the chance to train directly under the travelling master: Qin-Lin Ophine. Under his master’s tutelage, he honed his knowledge and understanding of the Force. Seeing it more than a simple tool to be utilized, but more as the connection to all things and more. With this knowledge, he was able to turn his sub-standard lightsaber skills to near improbable mastery; seeing it as an extension of his arm as his soul was an extension of the Force. Through countless peace meetings and dispute settlements, the teenager became a young man. This would grant his master the ability to recommend Cain to the Jedi Master Council to face the Trials of Knighthood. Upon return to Courscant, Sunstrider was given one last lesson by his master to trust his instincts and he will pass the trials. Taking in the years of knowledge his master passed on to him, Cain strode into the chambers to face his next series of tests.

Upon exiting the trials, the young Jedi was approached by his former master and was delighted to see his pupil had passed flawlessly. And when granted audience with the Jedi council, Cain was granted Knighthood and was able to do as he wished for the good of the people. Filled with happiness, the young Knight exited swiftly and made his way to the nearest communication terminal to inform his long-estranged mother. Though he had communicated with her over the years (much to the chagrin of the other masters), he hadn’t spoken with her for some while. It was here, he learned from his paternal uncle that his family was murdered by a biker gang from the Underworld. Distraught by the news and fueled by anger, Sunstrider made his way to the transport before being stopped by his former master. An argument ensued, but in the end, Cain knew that anger wasn’t the answer and neither was revenge. And since the local security was already investigating, the council had assigned the young Knight to assist his former master on a mission in the Outer Rim. It is here, we find Sunstrider preparing his things before leaving on a transport to the starship for their assignment.

Name: Colonel James Conrad
Class: Sith Officer
Description:
Backstory: James being an only child was born into a rich and respected family on Dromund Kaas, his family had been apart of the imperial military for generations. His father worked within the Imperial Intelligence and his mother was a worthy admiral. James was bred for command. Through his youth he was trained for normal imperial service. Due to his family position as well as James own strengths was moved into the imperial officer academy. He distinguished himself from those around him by showing you can win battles through cunning more so than brute strength.

When the officers graduated, James fell behind in the beginning due to his fellow officers drive for glory. At least that’s what the holo communications would say. James would call it arrogancy and while each officer before him had their time, eventually they fell. Whether it was because of a foolish mistake by pushing too far into Republic land or from them trying to take on a jedi. Even worse some that survived and had to report their failures to the sith and were killed from those they were supposed to obey.

For most of the war James served under Lord Vaul. Lord Vaul and his force were ordered to take and hold planet of Bothawui. The initial invasion was a success, yet maintaining the planet was much harder. The Bothans were able to infiltrate ammunition storages, stop trade routes. Etc. due to their vast spy network. Which was the whole reason for taking the planet. Eventually. The forces became so limited Lord Vaul began to order a retreat. Yet before the ships could arrive they were intercepted by republice Relief forces. For sometime the forces would be stranded in their remaining stronghold. Eventually, Vaul demanded to die in combat and with honor. James wishing to live shot him in the back. He then had his men prepare to defend the stronghold. Luckily before the republic could attack, The imperial navy sent down rescue dropships and while there were questions on how Lord Vaul no one directly blamed Captain James.

Shortly afterwards the war ended and James was promoted to Colonel. Now while the Empire recovers James awaits deployment.

Personality: James is a cautious man after working with so many sith and seeing where arrogancy had gotten many of his counterparts he wishes to go under the radar yet, he is an ambitious man who wishes to see the sith empire in it’s glory with himself at the head.
