I always ask all the questions!
My only issues with the old ones were how often bugnets and pick axes broke. Ity's like you get 1-3 swings even with megas!
Shhhush spider lady! I question everything!
I still own the first game. I keep wanting to play it and then realize "mining rates suck balls!"
It's not a matter of weakness. Even stuff that's designed to do their job will break from the stress. Example, was using a compactor and the pulley snapped even though it was an inch thick chunk of steel. It wasn't even a month old.
I've been playing monster hunter since it started on ps2. I've wanted to rp it for a while now.
Rafael

If Rafael's face was capable of scowling he would have. "How the hell could it tell one section of wall from the other?!" He exclaimed, clearly agitated as it took out the damaged bot. The thing got a jolt and now it was vibrating. It moved, gathering up guns, before moving away. The only reason he had been able to follow it was because he was used to looking for invisible enemies so his eye was in constant motion.

The mutated being let the robot head strike his chest ineffectually. The cracks that appeared in his chitin simply melded back together as he started towards the final robot. It was juggling the guns and firing but the projectiles moved far slower than the robot itself. So Rafael simply ducked, leaned, and weaved through the projectiles. He was making good progress and once he got within a certain distance he raised his arms. A pair of eggs fired from his palms in the path of the plasma bolts. The orbs exploded, sending a wash of acidic blood out in an attempt to coat the damned droid.
So...shouldn't it be able to rip itself apart due to the stress the added speed is putting on it? Metal doesn't need to be moved or vibrated that fast to make it break after all (I've worked with plenty of metal and gearboxes.)
It moves faster than pretty much everyone can react...that sounds pretty invincible to me. Assuming it doesn't just destroy itself because metal can only handle so much stress before it's warped or melted.
