Yes! A few quick questions before I settle on a concept:

- Since dragons are magical creatures, can they have a few traits drifting away from reptilians like their body structure or areas of hair/feathers? And could there be signs of magic in their dragon forms such as patches of ice jolting from the skin, steam from underneath their scales, or maybe a bio-luminescent glow?

- How far does the range of magic go in humans? Is it closer to the usual elemental magics or can we get a bit creative with it and go for something like controlling sound or pressure, spreading or healing illness, creating illusions or anything else that doesn’t border on godmodding?

- When it comes to wingless dragons, can they only fly in a manner similar to Chinese dragons or can their magic help them move in the air by other means?

Editing in a couple more questions in case you didn't read the others yet, more might come along as time passes:

- How long can a dragon live without realizing they have the glamour of man? I imagine they'd have to find out at some point but if no one ever taught them would they still learn around the same age as other dragons or could it take decades longer?

- Not knowing about the glamour of man and probably rarely seeing them in their true form, what do humans actually think of dragons? Do they just see them as animals or to they recognize that dragons have intellect similar to humans?

Standing at 6’8” and weighs around 250 lbs, she resembles a modern depiction of the werewolf through her head and large tail. She sports broad shoulders along with a hefty upper body and digitigrade legs. Her grey fur is relatively short and well-groomed, left to grow longer around the neck and the jawline. Her eyes are dark brown and are hidden in the black markings around them. She is typically seen in a charcoal short-sleeved shirt under a steel-colored coat, both made out of a durable material with similar attributes to nylon. This is usually paired with shorts that reach to her knees ranging from tan to blue.

⋆ Behavior towards others is: [Ambiverted] - Her behavior fluctuates between aloof and affable, sometimes dependent on the nature of those she talks with. She enjoys socializing with others where it seems appropriate, however she tends to keep to herself otherwise.

Her appearance doesn't help much either as it puts people on edge, even if they know she is tame.

⋆ Energy levels: 6 - With consistent upkeep and exercise, she was able to gain more stamina than most others in the garou race, however this doesn't say much as the garou don't have much stamina to begin with due to their energy-consuming builds.

Qualifications:

"On 09/21/3529, a field team was sent out to Aladria as part of the Semicentennial Growth Report in order to more accurately observe the development of known races. During the expedition they came in contact with an young omega member of the local garou tribe. Normally they would be sedated and have their memories altered to reduce any lasting effect, however this member exhibited interesting behavior that warranted reason to bring them in for testing. Results from testing showed that they closely matched the cognitive abilities of an average human, demonstrated from their ability to read, write, and recognize symbols associated with their home planet. According to our database, garou anatomy typically consists of a gene which activates cancerous cells that drastically slow down and integrate with the base cells; although it enhances the garou's physical strength, it often renders the nervous system partially dysfunctional which leaves a multitude of effects on an individual. However upon further inspection it was found that Malkyn's system showed no severe implications, a rare occurrence within the race.

Along with prompting further observation relating to their tribe, it brought up an opportunity for a large-scale project: rehabilitating a member of an isolated species in order to join advanced human society. This is not an idea we consider often, especially with beings accustomed to life similar to the medieval period who would have trouble understanding concepts in our day and age. Had it not been for Professor Adilena Calyan confirming Malkyn's consent, we would not have gone through with it. There were many factors that had to be considered which would take up a considerable amount of resources, however it seemed that it paid off in the end. They have been put through multiple forms of training in order to prepare them for the most dominant culture in our galaxy, including classes on English, social studies, and basic math, self-defense focused on grappling and disarming, and vocal training. Alongside this training they have undertaken humanistic, psychodynamic and behavioral therapy. Throughout the process their temperament has been astounding; they´ve expressed little retaliation against their mentors and applied their knowledge outside of their training in a manner that has impressed various professors.

Followed after 8 years of training and therapy, it was 6 years ago that they began to gradually be exposed to the real world, and though unexpected circumstances made exposure undesirable at one point, Malkyn has always kept her composure and used tactics that never resulted in serious or intentional harm. They gained work experience in several positions that didn't require intensive training and have even chosen therapy as a field they wanted to pursue in. With that in mind, they believe that being a diver for the APER program would be a good position to explore what more she can offer to the field, and so the Association of Astronomical Anatomy recommends Malkyn Nyl for the position of diver. They have shown themselves to be an digilant person with the proper disposition and dedication to assist and cooperate with those both within and outside the association, and we believe that they would be a welcome asset to the APER program."

It’s still a bit lacking in some areas, but considering this was supposed to be up a week ago I don’t want to delay them any longer, so they're here now!

I'm not sure if odd stated it in the opening post yet, but the rp has been moved over to discord now since it'd be easier to keep track of the different areas I think. The lore is much more explained there and there's been some new mechanics in the works.

Yet everything he's made has completely fallen apart on him at some point, he's never stopped getting ready for that one night of the year. He even brought along an entire set of silverware one Halloween, in which his parents quickly found the day after and forbidden him from ever bringing outside the house again.

Apart from this obsession of protecting himself from scary mythical beasts, he's a decent kid. Attentive in class, loyal to his friends. He pesters them all on the bad luck they could get, but they tolerate him all the same.

Advanced skills: As a miner, he’s learned how to operate the equipment moderately well. Alongside that, he’s been taught how to identify defects in the equipment and repair surface-level problems.

Backstory He’s had a comparatively boring life so far. Born in the ports. A relatively ok homelife, both mother and father were technically there but the father was always out looking for work. His father had always avoided work involving contracts and such simply because he never liked the idea of being bound to something he didn’t love, so he spent a lot of time doing odd jobs that robots couldn’t easily replace. This worked well when it was only him and his mother, however after Nicolai was born he realized he didn’t want to raise a child in a place like the ports. So around the time Nicolai was 6, he decided to finally get a job in the mining union to try to get his family in an apartment somewhere in Atlas. A few years later they ended up in America, but though their living conditions had improved nothing really changed. He still had a fairly distant relationship with his parents and though he was able to make a few friends, nobody really stayed in touch with him after highschool. After finishing school he didn’t have the passion to pursue anything. Despite his father’s advice to start exploring what made him happy and his warnings not to join, he eventually followed after his father and signed up to be in the mining union in order to maintain his lifestyle.

Somewhere along the years, as he was working, he realized his father wasn’t in the mines with him. Confused about what might’ve happened, he started to search for him. However, as the weeks went by, as the realization that his father had disappeared out of nowhere hit him, it crushed him. He literally popped out of existence, and there was nothing he could do to find him. Afterwards he dove himself into his work, blocking out the outside world and neglecting everything else other than food and mining. It took him several years to finally realize that working himself so hard was going to take a toll on him, and that he’d have to accept what happened if he was going to move on.

Present day, he still lives a pretty monotonous life for the most part. He’s lived with the fact that his father was gone fairly well, if only to make sure it didn’t interfere with his life again. He drifted apart from his family’s apartment, moving to one of the rooms along the halls. He’s been mining for 20 something years now, even though all the excitement that came with the job had faded away a long time ago. The typical banter across the mine keeps some of the dullness at bay, and the sudden disappearances of workmates every now and again add that small hint of fear to his life, but otherwise it moves slowly. Well, up until now probably. Maybe. We’ll see.
