Andy looked at the red coin-like thing that Zari showed her. She didn't know what it meant, but it seemed important to Zari so she smiled. But the smile was quickly erased when Sunshine told them to stop making out. Andy turned bright red and was really glad Kristina asked what the Academy thing was. She wanted to know, but she did not want to ask Sunshine. Sunshine seemed...changed somehow from before.

She did want to see where they were staying, and at least this sort of felt like she was invited and belonged. Magneto had only invited Zari to tea. And the one lady had invited Warlock to something too. Andy was just..there. She thought about the talk about destiny she had had with Zari.

Zari had said whatever her path was, it was a good one. She also said if she needed help she'd ask her first. So it didn't matter about anything else. She'd be there when Zari asked for help, and she'd do whatever she could to help her. It didn't matter what Sunshine said. So Andy looked to Zari and said, "After you."

Andy leaned into the hug from Arthur. It felt so nice. It was warm and comforting and it was perfect. She didn't ever want to leave his side. But she knew she'd have to. Knew that the two of them would have to walk paths that sometimes diverged. "No matter what, we always come back to each other, right?" She asked looking up at him. Taking in his brown eyes and hair.

Andy took the wave as what it was, an invitation. She kept her arm wrapped around Arthur and the two of them walked together to the side of Andy's aunt and her friends. "That's what friends and family is about. Being there for each other." As she said that she realized something that had been tetering in her mind. Her father wasn't there for her. He barely knew she existed. But Mads had been. She had been teaching her magic. And Arthur was always there for her, sure he was scared, but that was a reasonable response.

Niah winced as she realized her Oath might bind all of them. She had used 'we' but she hadn't meant for it to include the kids. Or even Nancy. They each had to make their own oath if they wanted to. Hopefully, her mother realized that and didn't hold the others to it. Though Arthur was agreeing to help. So was Nancy and she wasn't surprised about that. Niah had always felt a bit like a third wheel. The two of them had a friendship that went back before camp and she had only become friends with them because of the quest to get the Gem.

"As long as Leandra doesn't win." Niah's face was contorted into disgust. "But, yeah. No matter what. I'm here for you Mads. I wouldn't be alive if it weren't for you." She smiled. "The legion will figure it out. They've made it this long."

Niah then turned to Andy and said, "Yeah, that's what being friends and family is all about." She gave the kid a smile. Niah was a little surprised at the kid. She seemed to have grown up so much over the last year and Niah hadn't been watching it happen.

"Klara, you said you had something to help us. What is it?" Ed asked. He was thankful they'd be able to get their stuff. Maybe their ship was still in functioning order and they'd be able to get back to their mission. Or, he supposed, deal with whatever made the Nova Corp lose their collective mind. If they could fix that they'd be able to get back to their mission without looking over their shoulder.

He hadn't had any luck healing himself. Thankfully, he was doing okay. He stood up. "I'd like to get my stuff too." At least he had everyone's hair so he had been able to track and heal them. He knew it had been a good idea to get some from everyone. Even though at the time it had seemed...creepy.

Andy was in partial agreement with Arthur. She wanted to let Mads have alone time with her friends, but this was also her aunt and she wanted to help. But the comment from Nancy that she was going to be there with Mads when she fell froze her in place. "I have to help her. Maybe knowing what was going to happen we can prevent it."

Andy didn't know much about the Pit. She had heard a bit, but not enough to have any idea what Nancy meant by there had only been two people who had escaped from it. She looked at Arthur. Worry and fear in her eyes. It had taken her a moment to gather what else Nancy had said. It had been her with Mads and 'one of the gingers'. That meant it wasn't Arthur she'd be on the quest with. They were going to be separated already.

Niah understood perfectly what Nancy was saying and she stiffened. Mads had an idea though. Maybe just maybe they could get Letus to help. Finding him would be a quest unto itself. "Okay, so in order of operations. Figure out what the sword was. Andy and Mads, and whichever of the Greeks it was go after it. Mads..." She trailed off. "Then we find Letus and hopes he lets us through the door to rescue Mads from a place almost no one has ever survived before." She looked at Mads worry etched into her features.

It was there on the tip of her tongue the swear that she knew she couldn't keep. The oath that if she failed to keep would kill her. She would try for the rest of her life to keep it and she knew that. Mads knows how important oaths were to Niah. "We'll do it. I don't care what it takes but we'll get you back. I swear it." The words were said. She felt it wrap around her. Her mother had heard her and the Oath was bound.

Madalyne looked over at Niah giving her friend a slight smile as she leaned in and gave her a tight hug, knowing that Niah always took oaths seriously. "Thank you." She said and took a moment while looking over at Andy. "If you could also keep an eye on Andy for me?"

"Yeah, your family is my family." She said hugging Mads back tightly. Then glanced at the worried-looking little girl and gave her a smile.

It had been quiet for Dalisy. She felt no regret for not joining the others on their mission. She was glad her friends and the others had succeeded. She didn't want Ragnorok to happen. Not while her sister was still alive. Dalisy wanted her sister to live her full life and go off to wherever the Romans went when they died. She reached out, completely out of habit, to see her sister. Niah was talking with her friends. The three of them looked worried but seemed to be settling into the Greek camp. She smiled. Her sister was alive and okay still.

Once she had gotten dressed, a short dress over some leggings and sneakers, she headed to catch the elevator and head down to the Hall. Dalisy preferred dressing up, but she knew wearing heels around the Hotel wasn't a brilliant idea. She was armed, as usual, though she had considered getting into daggers so she could hide weapons on her person instead of having everything be obvious. Her sister had it smart with having an invisible sword, though how in the world Niah fought with an invisible sword was beyond Dalisy.

When she finally got to the Hall she saw Arnora, but she was sitting with Nadia, and Dalisy wasn't in the mood for that. She chose instead to sit by herself. Klara wasn't to be found. And those were the only two people she really got along with.

Rose smiled at her mom. She was relieved that Red was okay. The guards were starting to batter their way through the door though, the first slam of the battering ram giving her a bit of a jump scare. She nocked an arrow on her bow and drew it back, waiting for the moment a guard came into view. She still wasn't going for a kill shot, but she was going to give them second thoughts about continuing to attack.

Colby winced. "We didn't do anything. They just showed up. We got inside the tower, but we couldn't do anything but hide and then you guys showed up." Colby explained. He felt like he was being blamed for something that had been completely out of his control. Admittedly he wondered if them casting magic had drawn attention. If that was true though why hadn't Merlin warned them?

The door cracked and fell, Rose let the arrow loose, quickly loading another and taking a second shot and then a third. The first shot missed. The second arrow hit one of the guards in his knee. She winced. That'd be hard to bounce back from. The third landed in another guard's leg. It would slow both of them down so that was good. Two less out of twenty.

Colby moved and activated the device on his wrist, a shield forming, even though it took two attempts. He turned to look at the cats on his shoulders. "Get down and hide in the catacombs." He told them. Silky responded first, followed by Jack. The pair of cats taking shelter away from the fighting. He centered his stance in front of the door between as many people as he could. If Merlin failed to get the defenses up the group would have to retreat.

"I can trip them up, cause distractions.' Colby's eyes widened a bit as he heard Silky in his head again. He nodded slightly and said to her "Once they come inside yeah, keep them from hurting anyone if you can."

"Shit. Niah said as she saw the group of kids getting closer to the Oval Office. She didn't know if that was part of the tour or not, but the group needed to clean up and get into position before the kids got into the room. "Good job getting those Skrulls down, but that group of school kids look like they are headed your way. You've got to cover the broken window and get those Skrulls out of the room."

With both Skrulls dead, and the human that Matt had fought knocked out the fight was over. But Ryanor had been knocked out the window and now there was a giant mess. The flag was destroyed and there were two very alien dead bodies in the room. If those kids tour brought them into the room they'd be doomed. "Some of you have to get back outside the doors and delay the group." She added which cardinal direction the group was coming from.

Matt had been released and he shook his hand. The tingly feeling in his tongue took a little longer to disappear. He was impressed with Bonnie's quick thinking. Niah was warning them that there was a group of kids coming toward the Oval Office. "I'll take a door." He moved to the door that Niah had said the kids were close to.

"Someone should get Raynor." He looked at Captain America. "You might have to pretend you had a fight with us and cover the broken window as you running or something." Captain America was already being looked for by the government. It could be cleared up and forgiven by Alex later. He then stepped out and dusted his suit and stood at the door. If the group of kids tried to come in through here he could delay them.

Ed felt like a sack of potatoes as Rocket and then Bethany failed to figure out how to fly the ship they were trying to escape in. "Please explain how part of your plan was getting into something you didn't know how to control?" Ed asked, his face looking pale and pained. His healing magic was working. If Klara hadn't relieved some of the pain earlier he was pretty certain he would have passed out by now. He definitely wouldn't be able to keep the shield up around their "escape pod".

At least Guin seemed to have a handle on the controls. He sank down onto the floor letting go of Annie. If he hadn't been using her to steady himself he would have certainly fallen over during Rocket and Bethany's attempts to fly. He looked up at Runa, "You'd think the group of space faring people who have previously broken out of the space prison would know how to fly the ship.

Her name being shortened to Thunder didn't bother her. It rolled better off the tongue so she didn't blame the crowd. She caught the chunk of meteorite from Magneto and looked at it. Havok threw his and stormed off the stage. Andy figured he was annoyed at both Max and the situation. It seemed no one in the group except Sunshine was happy. Everyone was bristling against this place. She looked over the Quiet Council and then gave a nod. She didn't look at Selene twice or notice the similarities between their faces.

Andy noticed that Zari was looking at the meteorite and something else and she stepped over to her. "Everything okay?" She asked. Hoping that whatever had caught Zari's attention wasn't something that was going to try to kill them. Though it would be nice to have something to punch.

Niah's hand went to her neck. She had put a new necklace on. It wasn't the same as the one that had once held her ashes. But she was happy that her sister was alive. She'd rather have that than the small comfort the necklace had once given her. She could only watch the screens and alert the group if anyone was coming near the Oval office.

She saw the Vice President, Ricky Goldsmith, walking with several Secret Service agents. She watched him for a little bit. They didn't move. Stood there chatting. They were the closest to the Oval Office. If they heard anything and were alerted the Agents might head back to the office and that'd ruin the whole mission.

His guard went down and wasn't get back up. And wasn't turning green. Hopefully, Matt hadn't just killed a human. He knelt down to check if the guy had a pulse. Matt knew he wouldn't feel bad for taking out a Skrull, but if this was just some poor Secret Service guy who didn't know his President had been kidnapped by aliens Matt would feel bad about killing the dude. He had a pulse. Matt sighed a little relieved. "This guy is still alive. Keep an eye on him till we can tie him up." Matt informed the rest of the group

There were other issues to attend to. Like the giant Skrull that was covered in electricity. They needed both of these guys down and out for the count right away. Matt moved, Cass had the guy's attention. If she kept it he could get a punch in, and as long as it landed on skin he could let out his paralytic, and if that worked he'd get a nasty shock for his efforts but he might take the Skrull down.

Matt stepped up and punched. The lighting hit him harder than he expected. He let out a big of a yelp and pulled back. He had touched the guy but hadn't gotten a decent blast of his paralytic off. The second swing was caught by the giant Skrull. Matt winced. He would have preferred to be fighting with a gun. He was better with a gun. But the giant was holding him, touching his skin. Matt grinned. And let out more paralytic. But the Skrull didn't drop, didn't even relax his grip. He couldn't pull his hand free either. Shit.
