"I'm calm, y'know. It's not my fault if people take everything as an offense these days," Thea replied to a voice well known to her without even needing turn around to ascertain that it was indeed Kenji there. Perhaps it was the power of a well-balanced relationship, who knows? "Anyway, you don't need to go around spewing stuff about us in public to break the ice. I'm not going to chew these lame LARPer's heads out or anything like this," she said just as Xander was about to leave them.

The grin in her face, however, told everything Kenji needed to know. The night was sure going to be busy...

On the following afternoon, Thea waited for the arrival of the undead hordes in the Scourger's gathering spot while listening to a few climatic songs. Along with her, there was a good portion of the Red Guild, all of them eager to have some proper fun.

"Listen up everyone!" she said as she took the frontline and raised her gun overhead. "Let's throw in a little bet to make things more interesting. If any of you get a score higher than mine, I'll go on a date with whoever gets the most points today. But if no one does it, y'all will have to treat me to a night at the city's fanciest steakhouse!" Thea, or rather Graphite yelled with a savage grin stamped on her face.

As expected of the Scourgers, the declaration from their overly aggressive, almost bandit princess-like, Deputy set them on fire, despite it actually being a bet where Thea had nothing to lose regardless of the outcome.

And just as Thea finished fanning the flames of her guild, the night's honor guests made themselves known in a rather striking fashion.

"Woah, so cool! I was expecting a buncha shambling corpses but this is way cooler. Very well, then... Scourgers... LET'S GIVE 'EM HELL!"

And, just as she shouted, Graphite was the first to charge at the enemy, closing the distance to the first of them while using a combination of her shields and hard cover to avoid any damage. As soon as she was almost at melee range she charged in even harder, skidding to a halt with her gun right in the zombie's face and...

"Hey, that's not fair! Cool, but not fair," she complained as the created dodged a zero-range shot, bending backward like some sort of twisted gymnast before trying to retaliate with a backflip kick and a hail of gunfire.

"Sadly for you, I know some cool moves too!" Thea shouted as she crouched, bracing herself against the kick, before stepping forward, hitting the enemy in the chest with her elbow, followed up with an immediate blast which was avoided when the zombie used his rifle to throw Graphite's shotgun off its mark, and she followed up with kick to the inner side of his knee, and...

So, they began their battle of gun kata. This was really going to be much cooler than Thea expected it to be.

As it turns out, Isana would be the next one to arrive at the appointed room, coming in as soon as she was done with her regular class duties for the day. Her arrival didn't have any matter of flare or pizzazz to it, just the dull sound of well-mannered, somewhat graceful footsteps hitting the creaking the floorboards until she made her way in, after making her presence known with a knock on the old semi-derelict door.

As soon as she came in, she bowed respectfully as her eyes darted through the other occupants of the room. One them was clearly their instructor, and the other one of her peers, who didn't strike a good first impression for her—evidenced by the sharp glare she threw at him—given his delinquent-like attire and behavior.

"I'm Isana Fujiwara, it's an honor to be under your presence," she said, introducing herself in a curt, yet polite way.

"I take it that you are our instructor, right mister Kazama? I'm honored to have the opportunity to learn from such a distinguished member of our community."

"Before we proceed, or anyone else arrives, would you allow us to begin cleaning this room? It's unbefitting to conduct our activities in such an unorganized space," Isana asked, volunteering both herself and the other student for the task without even asking for his opinion. After all, cleaning up and maintaining the rooms was the least responsibility a student had to bother with.
I'll be posting soon.
Well, anyone of the older hunters are likely to know Isana, especially Shuro.

She should have a better time dealing with other people around her age that are also more on the serious side. But she should have no trouble treating a younger one like a sibling or something like this as long as they show that they aren't punks.

In essence, she behaves more or less like someone a good 30 years or so older than she's, if not more.

Apologies if it sounds a little out of place for me to say so, but the way you wrote your post can potentially lead to confusion in the future.

Using would to indicate the actions your character took instead of the past tense makes everything seem like he could or couldn't do what's described, since that's a word most commonly used for open ended actions.

That could make interactions with him hard, if no one knows for sure whether or not he really did an action.

That's just an opinion, but perhaps using the past tense will make your posts clearer in the future.
"It sure is very charming of you to come all the way to this den of depravity just to seek me," Emilia said as Chen came "out of nowhere" like the bug he's. "However, as you can see, I already have an appointment for the immediate future," she said while turning her eyes Kanbaru.

As it turns out, she wouldn't be able to follow up with any other remarks after being rendered speechless in the most literal way. Nevertheless, she still threw a knowing gaze towards Chen as he repeated himself.

Almost as if, despite everything that happened, she was still the one in control. Or, at the very least, the only one who could keep her wits in check.

Sherry kicked the slimy hand of the fishman who grabbed her with all the strength she could while being underwater. Thankfully, it was enough to free herself from the creature's grip just and get back to the surface.

"For a moment, I thought I was a goner," she said after taking a long breath. Now, she had to find a way to try to help the others and get out of this water before they were overwhelmed by the twisted abominations, or... something even worse and possibly tentacle-y came after them. "Ok, here goes nothing!" she said as she unleashed a magic missile—which was thankfully uninhibited by the water's resistance—hitting the three fishmen.

Sherry hoped that would be enough to help the other's escape. However, before she could shoot a second volley, two more fishmen came to attack her. This time, they were armed with rudimentary-looking spears trying to stab her as she dodged left and right. And then, out of nowhere one of them spit a fireball at her, right after Sherry hit it with another magic blast.

"What the hell!? Ever since when do fishes spit fire?" she complained as she continued to fend off the slimy critters.

On the other side of the underground lake...

"Mhmm, mhmm~" those would be the first sounds—other than those of the struggle of the White Masks nearby—a certain young boy would be able to hear as he arrived at the lake's shore, besides what looked to be some kind of pier with a couple of torches illuminating it.

There was no boat, or oarsman, to be seen. The only other things worth of attention in the vicinity being a few ruins of what looked like some kind of storehouses, and crumbling, wooden watchtower, as well as some flickering lights in a tunnel up ahead which Takara would probably be able to recognize as the butterflies he sent out earlier—if he remembered doing that at all, of course.

The reason for the magic butterflies to be disappearing was none other than the fact that they were being snipped out of the air, or rather, being eaten by a mysterious woman dressed in a purple armored dress, almost as if they were candy drops thrown in the air.

"Ahh, mhmm~" she gobbled one more of the flighty beings before finally turning around and noticing the golden-haired boy sitting on a pillow by the lakeside.

"Ohh, oh, I didn't see that there was anyone else here," she said as she approached Takara. "Hey, who are you? Are you lost or something like this? Do you need a big sister, or a mommy, to take care of you?" the woman who probably liked purple a little too much for her own good asked as she squat down to look the young boy in the eyes.

"Woah, this doesn't look good! Please, stay inside the shelter until everything is clear again," Akari said as she finished bringing the last of the stranded civilians, a little girl who went out of of the shelter to look for her missing doll, back to safety right as the scuffle with Terrorkeet got much more heated. In a very literal way.

"It seems like the flyboys and girls are having a tough time. I guess that I better help them now that all civilians are safe," she said to herself as she dashed away towards the GMG, taking shelter from the rain of projectiles and buffeting winds, behind the many buildings in her path.

However, as it turns out, getting close enough to support Utena wouldn't be that easy, now that the bird girl retreated in a defensive position, leaving no openings to approach her from above ground level. Sadly for the flier people, verticality went both ways, with Akari taking the low path down through a subway tunnel to get under the GMG's wings.

"Uff, this place is hotter than a sauna! And dark too," she thought as she came out right under Terrorkeet's feet... talons? And began to search for the other agent. "To think that I would need to rescue one of our own..." that could only be irony.
"I see," Nanoha said after listening to Youmu's words. "If we take her back, I'm sure that the TSAB could help as well. Shamal can find a way to cure any magical illness."

"This isn't the problem, though. If we want to help her, we will have to abandon this mission for a while. If we can go back through the portal we used to arrive at this dimension it shouldn't take long to get her to either of our worlds," the young mage said after thinking through their options. Helping this supposedly transformed girl was important but going back also meant ignoring the people from this world, even if momentarily.

"What's it you want to do, Youmu?"
@KoL It looks better now. If you're thinking something akin to the gentle fist for her, that should be fine.

Yes, that's basically what I'm thinking about.
