Learned a new mistake: should not always represent myself as capable and someone who gets shit done. People will use it and give you burdens you're not meant to carry. Crazy expectations too.

Basically my partner has been taking my rings just for "comparison's sake" and have been alerted that in case one of my rings disappear, not to be alarmed... Should I mentally prepare?

Its a different kind of pain when you read old amazing roleplays you had with great partners that you are no longer in touch with. It's like revisiting an old comfort show that you can't finish.

Bio

I would die for this man.

Advanced multi-para to adjustable writing. A fan of drama, action and detailed scenes in general. Very flexible when it comes to settings, slice of life is probably my weakest point due to the lack of interesting elements, but the only interesting slice of life roleplay I have had involved crime and a complicated relationship between a war veteran and his much younger romantic interest. I love psychologically challenging characters and situations.

The quality of my writing will reflect against my own partner - you will be my inspiration, as well as a demotivator. And please, communicate with me if we're writing. Please. I need to establish a writing chemistry with you in order for us to make some quality content.

But personally, I write a lot. Everything is labeled "mature" because I'm an adult who enjoys writing and reading nasty and messy stuff. What comes to your mind when you read those two words is entirely up to you, but you might not be wrong, but there could be a whole lot more than you can imagine!

Aside from that, I'm a sucker for world-building and character development. Slow burn is the shit I'm here for. Just add some dark subjects to the plot, and I'm all about it.

Roleplay rating (Sex, violence, profanity): 5/5/5

Introduction:

Note: Your gender identity won't affect my choice in writing with you. I just seek out people who play male characters while I play female roles, as I prefer to include romance and adult content, I personally had great experience writing with female identifying partners who played male roles. And yeah, you gotta be comfortable with writing adult content (profanity, violence and smut, no fade to black)

The Dragon Age epic

I'm back at this phase again and the desire to do these roleplays would not leave me be. So I had several ideas for separate stories and a bonus idea that isn't tied necessarily to the games, but it can be a potential prequel to the Origins based in Orlais. In case you'd be interested in doing a long term roleplay that is based on the games and actually have ends that lead to new beginnings and content from the next game, I'm your gal.

Second and Inquisition based rps are my biggest craves. However if someone offers to be my long-term partner for all of the ideas chronologically, you'll get my undivided attention.

Pairings

___________________________________

These are the pairings for the following plot ideas. My characters will be highlighted in bold:

  • Non-game based, optional prequel to Origins: Orlesian Bard/Assassin x Honorable knightish thrope (but you're still free to pick out your role regarldess)
  • Origins: Up to debate (I'm honestly flexible about this idea. I can play a mage or rogue, elf, Qunari warrior or a human Chantry sister turned rogue/mage, it doesn't matter, we can decide together, they naturally need to be Grey Wardens)
  • Siege of Kirkwall, aka the Second game: Human Assassin Leader (Hawke based character) x Qunari from Arishok's group
  • Inquisition, sequel to the second game: same Human Assassin Leader x same Qunari, now Tal-Vashoth (turned Inquisitor)

We can play all of these as far as I'm concerned. If you're a Dragon Age fan, we'll get along real well, there's no doubt about it. I know not many people are comfortable with playing Qunari, which is on high demand for me. I've played countless DA roleplays with human and elf characters, it had left me wanting something different. So if you're comfortable with playing a pretty good and accurate Qunari character for second and third games, I'll fucking love you.

Another note, if we end up working all of the plots chronologically, we can always use our main characters again in the future from the previous stories, be it as protagonists, side characters or have a massive impact as someone who had done something great in the past, much like it was with Hawke and Warden in the second and third game.

As for the Canon side characters, should we include them? Up to you! I'm down for playing Canon characters from the games anytime, as long as they're treated as side characters. But I'm also down for making new side characters based on the Canons and carry their roles for the sake of the story.

Now, onto the plots!

Non-game based idea/optionally pre-Origins plot

___________________________________

I'm obsessed with the whole bard culture, especially in the Orlesian setting, as I love the drama and intrigue, all the Orlesian kitsch that would leave one breathless at the sight of artistry and luxury. So I'd definitely play an Assassiny masked bard, a seductress up to no good who enjoys playing the Game. This is actually tied to my character that I want to use for second and Inquisition games and it is a far more complex character storyline. This may play into the whole deal of Orlais Empire in Ferelden before Loghain drove them off, long before the Fifth Blight started. However, in case we'll do a continuation of the stories like the Origins timeline and so forth, I'd make the timeline a little bit more different so the Empire wasn't driven off decades ago, but more recent. Or, in case there's some other event that is more recent in Orlais and a bit before the Blight, I'd be down to play it out. As long as it is tied to the deadly Orlesian Game, intrigue and drama, I'm down.

Ideally, I'd prefer an honorable character, a knightish trope for this for your character, because I enjoy the idea of the dynamic where a respected and honorable member of society is dealing with a charming troublemaker, but it's not obligatory, you still have complete freedom in choosing what character you want to play.

Origins and the Fifth Blight

For this, at least for my own character, I'd use a Grey Warden who wouldn't be showing up anymore in the stories after the Origins storyline, at least not as a protagonist, though that really depends on how this story goes. I don't have much to add to this, as it would follow the game in its entirety as it is, with of course freedom for us to tackle plots and things in ways we want and have to deal with consequences accordingly. I'm always down to add new additional things to the table to make our roleplay feel fresh.

I don't have specific demands for characters, as this is something I'd like to discuss with my partner on what sort of characters we can make together for the plot.

Siege of Kirkwall aka the Second game

___________________________________

This is the plot where I do want to focus in on some interracial relationship between a human and a Qunari, and is a story that will lead to the Inquisition timeline. With a Qunari loyal the ways of the Qun, meeting a free spirited human who leads him to freedom at the end of the events, only for years later when the tear opens in the sky for him to become the most important individual in Thedas. An epic tale and romance, if you ask me.

Although, most Canon side characters from the second game may not show up here, as I have a list of original side characters I'd like to use. MC is actually the same character from the optional pre-Origins plot, just with a different identity which will be important in the Inquisition timeline.

My character is an Assassin leader of an organization who came to Kirkwall. They had a run in with Isabela and her crew, which led to MC getting the Tome, unaware at the time that this Tome is the root of a major issue in Kirkwall - the Qunari. Upon realizing what this Tome actually is when they arrive to Kirkwall, MC with her right hand man decides to speak with Arishok and to return that bloody thing to its rightful owners, unfortunately the Tome was taken by someone in her crew who had wanted to blackmail MC and had taken the Tome to someone who holds leverage in Kirkwall. So with a made up story, MC would stand before Arishok to tell him that someone they know holds the Tome and they plan to cause a disaster. And with her trusted right hand man who knows Qunlat helping the situation, they manage to convince Arishok to help them out in retrieving the Tome, sending his men to this mission, among which YC is one of them.

MC will more or less have the same role as Hawke in this instance, which will earn her the same reputation by the end. Our characters bond during this journey, following the similar quests as in the game, having some of the more important side characters in the story until it reaches the infamous conclusion - Varric, Cassandra, Anders, Isabela, and maybe Fenris, including a desired character you'd like to include. YC had learned a lot from MC which in the end it affects his decision in turning against Arishok and it results with his freedom and becoming Tal-Vashoth as he leaves the Qun. Our characters, no matter if they end up cordial or in a fight, will separate and will not see each other again - until the Inquisition timeline.

MC fakes her own death in the meantime. She used to be the leader of a secretive Assassin organization only to become a renown figure, which she did not like. The death of Hawke would reach the news across Thedas, as well as YC. She had such an impact on his life, it surely wouldn't leave him feeling indifferent

The Inquisition

___________________________________

A direct follow up after the second game, I'm only interested in playing this as a sequel to the story prior to this one.

YC ends up following the Herald's storyline as the one who can close the Rifts. The Qunari who had become the Inquisitor, which works even better with the direct follow up from the second game, knowing Varric, Cassandra and through the two of them there is Leliana who support him against the Chantry's aggressive reactions. I would be down to play a side character for a while before my Hawke character comes into play.

This time, MC doesn't come as presenting as the Assassin leader, instead as a masked Orlesian pirate assassin who is well known and quite legendary - the same character of mine I'd play in ore-Origins idea I have shared. Whenever she puts up this masked identity, MC is like a completely different person. She comes with a ship and masked pirate men offering to aid the Inquisition but keeping up the act the entire time. At first YC would be none the wiser as to who this is, but eventually he should slowly realize that it indeed is her.

The plot will follow the game, so I've nothing set in mind yet that I feel I'd like to additionally add, but everything is open for discussion!

In conclusion...

Everything is up for discussion! The only thing I don't want to change is the pairing idea for the second and third game. As for everything else, it's open for planning, adjusting and changing.

There will be some of my original content tied to my main character that will be in the pre-Origins, second and third game, such as the two assasing and pirate organizations. Nothing game changing that would meddle with the lore and world itself.

Quick rundown of the plot

___________________________________

  • My character takes on the Hawke's role, rather than actually being from the Amell/Hawke bloodline, my character is from a Robin Hood-esque assassin leader of an organization that is fairly grey in the moral shade range. Read my character profile for more information.
  • Your character is the son of Arishok, pure-blooded Qunari, under the pressure of the Qun and his father's influence. The entire Kirkwall ordeal is almost like a trial for YC where he has to prove himself. However, when he is set off on a quest with MC, his views of the Qun are challenged by MC, who is very set on freedom of the people and what it actually means to live rather than to strictly abide by laws. The point is that MC has a full on impact on YC.
  • Following canon side characters will be included: Varric, Anders, Cassandra, Isabela (Although Isabela's role to some degree will be replaced by MC and she will be more of a background character) as they hold importance in the main story, as well as Inquisition. Other canon side characters can be included, and making original side characters is also welcome.
  • The journey of our characters will start during the Act 2 events, My character, as Hawke had in the games, already had earned the tinniest bit of respect from Arishok and she will come back to work for him. Only events that will be played in Act 2 from Act 1 is the part with Sister Patrice and Saarebas (Shepherding Wolves quest) and Viscount's son Saemus running off with the Qunari (Unbidden Rescue) as these are topical situations for our characters.
  • The exact point where our roleplay starts is when MC comes before the Arishok with the information that the man she's targeting actually has the Tome of Kolsun in his possession. She offers to bring it to Arishok after catching the culprit, however Arishok prefers for that to be done with one of their men and sends YC, I strongly suggest you add a Qunari friend for YC that may end up dying during the story. However, MC did not tell the whole truth to either the Arishok and his son about the Tome...
  • Our characters should bond and possibly even fight the Arishok at the end. The conclusion of Dragon Age 2 storyline is what makes YC end up becoming a Tal-Vashoth, which will lead to our second story in the Inquisition - where YC becomes the Herald of Andraste.
  • As a Herald, he'll get a visit from a group of pirates who offer their services to the Inquisition, led by a curious masked Orlesian woman... Whose identity he will discover later in the story of the Inquisition.

The premise

Ares and Aphrodite, a love story as old as time itself. Troublesome, toxic, but raw and real. True to their nature, they're the two opposites, as much as it may cause chaos due to the differences, without their union, there would be an imbalance... The love is possessive, all-consuming. Self-control can only last as long as these two forces keep themselves in check. But the moment one missteps, it officially passes the point of no return.

I'm looking for specifically Ancient Greek mythological setting. Does it need to be super authentic? Maybe, not necessarily. Does the mythological setting need to be super on point and follow the ancient stories? Not really. As the matter of fact, my depiction of Aphrodite would be different. I never liked the behavior of a goddess that was meant to be reincarnation of beauty and love, but maybe there's a reason for it there, I simply did not like it.

I want to represent Aphrodite as the divine feminine, a nurturing figure of love, not one who would curse others out of spite. While it only makes sense that a goddess of beauty would be offended if she was not recognized as the most beautiful, in mythos, there were a lot of instances where Aphrodite has done vile things when love was rejected. I'd prefer to work on her character traits. She will start of as a fairly naive figure that is filled with innocence, much like love would be when it comes first. However, Aphrodite's sexual awakening and her coming to her fully power only happens when she's with Ares.

In the story, she'd be a fairly new goddess in the Olympus. The world is going through a troubling time, a lot of war and hatred has been growing among mankind, but among the gods in Olympus as well. The birth of the goddess of love had happened out of necessity, while also the aspect of her beauty that is there to inspire all to do good.

So when she meets with Ares, things will feel immediately electric between them. He's the definition of masculinity and Aphrodite is the true feminine. War and Love clashing, Ares disagrees with how love would dull the blade and Aphrodite naturally despising violence and pain, would disagree with Ares' choices to end things in blood. However, despite those disagreements, there's something more beneath the surface. A certain tension, electric and magnetic, a strong pull between the two opposites. Two different energies that simply cannot move on if one is without the other, or mass destruction and withering would take place.

Aphrodite might not dull Ares' blade, but she would most certainly soothe the unending and exhausting rage that made even the god of war himself feel as if its all pointless, at certain times.

There was a reason why Aphrodite came to be. And there was a reason why in such hard times Ares and her would have such a specific chemistry.

It would be a love story that should change the course of humanity's future. But it comes with a devastating price.

So no, it's not just a romance with lots of sex, just because Ares is a dominant, red blooded masculine force and Aphrodite being the living and breathing aphrodisiac and goddess of sex, doesn't mean that this story is going to be all about that. It's an epic tale where their nature, being the polar opposites, mends and harms them both at the same time. And how much their union affects the world around them, being the gods and forces of nature, it'll reflect their relationship. Even sex is not just sex, in this scenario. It's something more.

I'd go as far as to add more challenging aspects - Aphrodite's (upcoming?) marriage with Hephaestus and her inner conflict and guilt as a goddess of love, other gods and goddesses disliking Ares and wanting to keep Aphrodite away from him (considering that she's new and given that everyone sucks in Olympus, they'd want to use her for her own agenda) and who knows what we can come up with next!

I just had this craving lately to do a massive pirate story that has everything, from political intrigue, adventures and action, to mysteries, curses and horrors. I cannot ignore that crave anymore, it's really bugging me how much I want to do such a massive and compelling story, and given the fact that this has been bothering me for months, I know for a fact I'll be able to keep this one up for a long time.

Before I get into the nitty gritty, I just need to mention that I need a partner who's into storytelling and world-building, including side characters and just creating all sorts of new things and elements that will benefit the story. And one of the more important aspects for a wanted partner is that they love doing character building, as well. I'm not settling for anything else. If we need to write 20 pages of long text just by planning our story before we even begin, so be it.

Plot and character concepts:

Basically like the Pirates of the Caribbean meets Black Sails, sprinkled with Lovecraftian horror. Literally everything you could ever ask for in this kind of a story, I want it in there.

The main thing I want to kind of focus on for the start are the characters and a "normal" setting in the world. What do I mean by normal setting? I mean things are not magical and fantastical at first. Only mythologies are spoken by the people, describing what might be out there, shanties of the curses and monsters, but nothing has ever been confirmed. It's just that - stories birthed out of fear. Most of the concerns at the beginning are either regarding rivalry between pirates, political intrigues and concerns between the powers that be and the pirates, classicism and other social issues, that would slowly lead towards an adventure, hunt for some treasure that would slowly reveal something much bigger that has been skulking in the background of this world. Perhaps a world-ending threat that has been awakened. Or something entirely else. I want to work on these details with you.

Side characters are a must. I love having romance in the story between the protagonists, and dirty smut is always welcome, it just needs a proper buildup. If you're looking to get characters to get off soon, this won't be a story for you. I want to actually develop a nuanced world and story. Until our characters don't get to that point in their relationship where they'll get messy together, it might not happen for a bit. All depends on who our characters are.

With that said, I'm doing MxF pairings, with me playing a female.

One of the ideas that I did have for my character is that she belongs to a wealthy masked pirate organization. They're not just primitive sailors who kill and raid, it has been formed by a former politician/lord/noble who has disguised himself to hide his identity as he wants to mess up the system that has betrayed him and this has been happening for decades - which had also developed the whole identity of the pirate organization where all members wear black clothing and masks that would conceal their true identities. MC is presented as one of the few female pirates (if not the only one here) who has a secret and tragic background. However, her new identity had captured the attention of many people that she developed a reputation. She is not only taking from the reputable rich people, she's also an assassin of sorts. Her true identity and appearance will be unknown until it is dramatically appropriate to reveal it in the story.

How I wanted this specific pirate organization to have anything to do with the massive story is that the captain had been cursed somehow and he's trying to find a way to relieve himself of the dreaded thing that haunts him. I do have the idea from where this curse comes from and I actually found a shanty on youtube that can easily be the song that describe this man's struggle that will lead to a very dark fate.

Anyway, this is what I have so far for this story idea. If you're interested, please send me a message!

Anyway, here are some more to-the-point short details that are about myself as a writer and my expectations for my ideal partner:

Okay, so, I've had so many dark, gritty, intense stories with evil/morally ambiguous characters which are great and amazing, however, there's a void in my soul that can only be filled with an amazing romance story joined with great storytelling elements, twists and turns, chaos and close calls.

I want something a bit fluffier (but not too much), something akin to Final Fantasy, basically. HOWEVER, if you have played FF: Crisis Core, you actually have a head start, because out of the stuff I'm describing you'll know what type of character I'm looking for: Angeal Hewley. I wanna cry just thinking about it, it's been a tough year, okay.

If you don't know what the hell I'm talking about, it's fine, I'll explain it.

Plot and character concepts:

I'm looking for specifically medieval fantasy type of roleplay, however the setting we'll play in can depend. I always loved to include political intrigue, court drama, and other issues involving in royal circles. It's a classic medieval fantasy setting, your character is an experienced, well-known and respected knight, but unlike other knights, the fame did not go over his head - he remained humble, loyal, kind-hearted and honorable, though he is not fool of a man. If I had to guess my desired age for him, I'd say around his thirties. He had fully dedicated his life to the King, the religion and to protect the kingdom. And I do want to say that I like the idea of kingdom being quite patriarchal, which puts immediately my character in a pretty tough position.

My character's role can vary. She can be a princess sold to an abusive prince (and your character could even be the knight who is assigned to protect the prince and is meant to be loyal to him) or an unhappily married/widowed queen, a court wizard in a society where mages are viewed as necessary evil but severely disliked, a female mercenary stuck working over a debt, a female court entertainer down on her luck, etc. If you have any preferences or ideas for my character, please let me know. But overall, what I end up picking for my character's role will definitely affect the storyline. Don't worry, we won't end up hitting a brick wall, as long as you're like me, always running all sorts of ideas, love to discuss and offer a hundred suggestions, we'll come up with a great plan. Events can include betrayal, war, assassinations, fears of all kinds, people and circumstances separating them, and so forth.

I have been a storyteller, worldbuilding is not even an issue for me as it just flows naturally for me, I immerse myself when it comes to character development, when I'm feeling a roleplay, I put my damn heart and soul into it, and this is definitely one of those things I wanna go as deep as possible. My posts are long (multi-para to novella sized, two paragraphs minimal) and they're also very detailed.

The romance needs a slowburn, though. Your character doesn't want to try anything because of his own reasons. Maybe he feels he's unworthy, he's afraid he'll come off as disrespectful and offend her, maybe he cannot allow himself to even hold any feelings towards any woman because it's against the code of his knighthood and honor means everything to him. And my character would also hesitate for many reasons - depending on the role.

But that's the beauty of it. They keep hesitating and pulling themselves away and they just get pulled back into that puddle of emotions. It needs to organically develop into love. And then there's also smut that should spice it up at an appropriate time. When I said make me cry, I meant it. I want a story so good and I want to care for them so much that I'll want to goddamn bawl my eyes out.

Anyway, here are some more to-the-point short details that are about myself as a writer and my expectations for my ideal partner:
