Granted, but Porter Robinson's music quality suddenly becomes terrible, and thus everybody who is more like him is also terrible.

If you can say absolutely nothing else, then it's fine, I'd rather have a shorter CS then no character at all, and I'd hate for the work to go to waste.

True. The group shouldn't know his entire history, but it would be nice for us to know. Your character doesn't know that Adrian had a bad childhood, or that Gwen's grandfather sold nazi-nicked loot, or even that Mark used to go-kart. Backstory adds charactr to people, and makes us understand them better.
