Jessica Luna Walton and Nathan Leon Walton gained two new additions on April 1, 1940, which were three minutes apart from each other. Theresa Linde Walton was born at 5:00 PM in Room 200 of the Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Jessica was absolutely delighted in having twin daughters on today because its the same birthdate as her best friend Angela. It was a bit too much to ask for that Angela would love all her children equally and not do anything stupid. However, Jessica wasn’t really that good at reading her childhood friend, mostly because of the fact they were basically rivals most of their life. Jessica was outright bashful and talking kindly towards her husband, and asked to go check on his friend Kevin. Since the two families picked Crestwood to give birth at, it was where Angela and Jessica was born anyway. Nathan told his wife, alright and walked from room 200 to 193, since that’s the room where his friend is.
However, Nathan walked in at a scene that was a bit awful and absolutely knew not to tell his wife anything that happened in that room. But he did graduate the two in having kids at the same time frames as Jessica. He came back slightly in a worse mood than he left and he sighed and sat down by his wife. Jessica saw Nathan’s attitude change, shift and the only person to cause that type of mood change is Angela. She was definitely a person who outright showed her true feelings towards males more than her. It was a gentle conversation, Jessica learned that Angela gave birth to Sasha Irina Heartily and Linde Kayla Heartily, at the exact same times as her. Sasha Irina Heartily and Ashley Vina Walton was born at the same time of 4:57 PM, while Linde Kayla Heartily and Theresa Linde Walton was born at the same time of 5:00 PM.
It gave her hope of the future, where the two youngest of the twins would fall in love and be happy together. Much better than Linde marrying one of her cousins, which lives in Mobile, Alabama. Jessica always talks about something that is possible only in certain ways, since she knows her firstborn daughter Catherine is best friends with Pauline. Nathan agreed that would be a wonderful thing, however, they would have to deal with many things before that happened. They were definitely excited for what the future will bring the Walton Family, including any additional children as well. However, they weren’t really prepared for the new additions they were going to gain via adoption since they never really thought that far ahead. It’s something of a hard pill to swallow but they will have to swallow it sooner than later. This would be the biggest hurdle they would have to deal with even more than Jessica and Nathan’s wedding. Mostly because her parents outright disapproved of the wedding altogether. The primary reason is because he abandoned his family in Indiana to live a simpler life, however, it took them to realize how much the two were in love to finally approve of the wedding. A basically a lawyer’s son moving to Huntsville, Alabama was a bit strange to be honest in their case. However, they didn’t really like lawyers to begin with anyways.
Elliot was an old dog, since he constantly talked about his sacrifices in the Great War, which was the first world war. He enlisted as a US Marine for those trying times, however, he was traumatized by the horrors of that war. It’s obvious that no one would fault the man who didn’t want to join another war like that. No matter the cost, he wouldn’t want to see anymore fellow Americans to die in a Great War. The one friend he did lose was Kevin & Steve’s father Gregory Iain Heartily, a great man nonetheless. Elliot is the one whom was the one who told Kevin and Steve that their father died a hero in the Great War. Steve was outright happy that his father died, while Kevin on the other hand was definitely hurt that his father died. It was like the two twin brothers were definitely oil and water in how they acted from this announcement. Elliot was heartbroken when he saw Amanda’s reaction to the news, completely and utterly crying in tears that her husband went to a war only to be announced dead. It was a horrible nightmare to say the sure, and Gregory was positive he would return alive.
However, a year later that will live in infamy and that will cause the United States of America to enter the World War II. The Japanese Attack on Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941. Day later, the United States declared war on the Japanese Empire and this caused Nathan to join up to avenge his fellow Americans in that horrible attack on his fellow Americans. He joined up with the US Marines alike his father-in law did before him in WW1. It would be the only way to repay Elliot for his kindness in allowing Jessica and him to marry. However, he wouldn’t make any false promises to return after the war is over, which he didn’t know how long it would take. This was a definite trying time for Jessica mostly because she had to take care of her three children without her husband. At least, her mother and father was there to help in this trying time for her. Elliot was always proud of his daughter in every single way because of her no nonsense attitude to every little thing that happens. Catherine was one of the biggest outcry in seeing her father leave to World War II. She didn’t want him to leave and her younger sisters are too young to even know what’s going on.
Four Years Later, Theresa turned five years old and she was a very talkative child and constantly asked about where her father is. Jessica told her that he’s fighting in the war, but at least they had her grandparents over at the time. Theresa was going to start Kindergarten in August, but she was in preschool prior. She had a great time in preschool, she was basically a pretty smart kid. However, there was a smarter child in preschool and her name was Linde Kayla Heartily. Linde constantly started to cry and what not in preschool because of something in her life. It hurt slightly in her heart to see Linde constantly having temper tantrums but didn’t know why it was happening. She kept it to herself but her mother knew something was up with her. Jessica got it out of her daughter, and was a bit shocked in what her daughter said that Linde Kayla Heartily and her twin sister were having problems. It made Jessica pretty concerned about the whole matter but it couldn’t be any worse.
Jessica was given an update to how her husband Nathan was dealing with in the World War II. She was utterly shocked that Kevin protected Nathan’s life but in the end ended his military career in April 15, 1945. Theresa was sleeping so she didn’t hear her mother’s shock and terror in reading that letter. However, he told her to watch out for the truth of Angela. It confused Jessica, what the hell does my husband mean by that. It made her a bit curious in why he put that in his letter to her. However, she didn’t really want to confront Angela about this truth since it would be a bit stupid to be honest. Angela’s dealing with many things alike taking care of her children. However, she was curious in what trauma Sasha and Linde did have to cause them to be slightly unstable in their life.
The next day was basically the same old same old, which was after the terrifying shocking news. It was basically 15 days after her twin daughter’s birthdays. She took her daughters to the park in Huntsville, Alabama so they can run away and play. This is when she first hand saw Kevin with his three daughters in the same park. She told him sorry for not being there at his return trip, however, he did still look good from the get go. He was happy to be welcomed back by Jessica, he asked his daughters to go play. Kevin sat down and looked Jessica directly in the eye and asked her a specific question. Did your husband send you a letter about my wife. She shook her head yeah, but didn’t understand the mystery surrounding it. Kevin laughed at Jessica’s truthfulness since the one thing he liked about the Walton’s they were always truthful.
If it wasn’t for that he would think they would be very good liars. He told her in small details that her mental state is getting worse and constantly bitching about certain family details. Without telling her in the full detail that his wife is a bitch to Pauline’s little sisters. It wasn’t a great thing to deal with to be honest, he is honestly at his wits end and asked would Nathan and her help take care of the kids if things go south. Jessica nodded to that since she love children a bit too much, her father calls her a Saint. That takes everything too seriously, anyways. However, it’ll have to be whenever he truly tells her the truth of what’s going on. Since without that she cannot possibly adopt his children. Kevin had a smile with that, he knew how much of a kind lady Jessica is, its better to go through the proper channels. Instead of outright taking someone’s kids away from them if one of the parents were mentally sound.
Meanwhile, Theresa introduced herself to Linde and asked how she’s been. However, Linde couldn’t help but be a bit mean to Theresa. By calling her names alike her mother would call her, since she definitely got it from her mother. Theresa started to cry big time since it was definitely a massive insult for a five year old girl to know those types of curses. However, Theresa noticed Pauline basically told Linde to apologize to her. But what Linde said exactly made her older sister smack her on the face gently with a look of a bit of anger in her face. Pauline also added that do you want to involve dad and Theresa’s mother Jessica in this conversation. It made Linde shiver a bit since she wants to stay on the good side of her father Kevin, which she reluctantly apologized to her. It was a half hearted apology, however, Theresa accepted the apology. This was better than getting their parents involved, however, this made Theresa worried about Kevin’s daughters. It took awhile but Jessica and Kevin walked to their children. Kevin definitely noticed that Pauline was a bit forceful with Linde and he sighed. Jessica told Kevin goodbye since it would be a good time to take home Ashley and Theresa.
It was a bit after returning home, which Theresa asked her mother Jessica what it means to die of envy. This made Jessica raise an eye brow and looked at her daughter seriously for a second. However, she asked a simple question whom said those words. Theresa responded truthfully that it was Linde Kayla Heartily who said it. Jessica was a bit shaken but what shook her more was Linde cursed up a storm to her daughter Theresa with really mean and hateful words. She hugged her daughter and said don’t worry about what Linde said or her half hearted apology. It is only in Theresa’s best interest in trying to fight the darkness within Linde’s soul to show that its not all bad. This would be a goal of Theresa to gain a true friend for the most of her life.
April 6, 1946, was a great day within the Walton Family in terms of when Nathan came home with a similar injury as Kevin. He was honorably discharged from service because because he needed to recover at home. Jessica was so happy to see him but was crying that his leg was injured pretty badly. The new vehicles of war was a definite terrifying thing. It was only five days after their daughter’s sixth birthday. Kevin was at their house at this point just talking niceties about certain things in their life, basically coming home to their families alive. Nathan agreed that was a definite god send, even though he will probably never be able to fight again in a war. At least he fought for 5 years in World War II and had enough of that experience to last him a lifetime.
Nathan looked at his wife and happily said, it’ll be better to wait on another child until he’s fully recovered or at least better than he is now. Barely able to move his left leg, it’ll take at least two years at most to be much better off. Jessica didn’t really take it as much of a surprise, it is better to wait. If anything, their daughters need to grow up first before adding another addition. Kevin laughed slightly, which he asked about they both have a kid at the same time as well, where the birth happens 3 years and 12 days from now. It intrigued Jessica and Nathan in why he specifically picked April 18, 1949. Better to have a child when there’s no war going on. Basically saying that’s when something special happens, ala, the truth of what Angela is hiding. Nathan knew it full well in what truth she’s hiding, however, Jessica had no clue in the matter.
If anything, it made Jessica much more curious in what is going on, however, she will rather wait for a certain time frame before. Theresa was at school while her father returned home, however, there was a guest speaker at her school. It was no other than Angela Tina Heartily for some odd reason. This was a bit odd, however she announced her intentions very well. She absolutely despised Jessica, Nathan, Kevin and everyone who has more than one child, which includes herself. Angela was definitely intoxicated while at the school and was cursing at the students in Linde, Sasha, Ashley and Theresa’s classroom. She had to be escorted off of the premise since she was scaring the kids, especially Linde.
Linde couldn’t help but cry at the announcement from her mother, it is like she finally realized something. However, Theresa couldn’t really help but understand this is where Linde’s darkness was coming from a cruel bitch of a mother was the cause all this time. Tormenting her children and probably going to continue to do that. It was time to get out of school and she approached Angela, who was still near the School. She couldn’t help but tell Angela that she should really get her life together and stop being a bitch. However, this is when Angela smacked Theresa really hard on the face and basically told her its none of her business. It was a large speech about she’s wasted her entire life just to have four children, when she didn’t want to have three of the four. It basically took Angela’s daughter Linde to stop her mother from beating the living shit out of Theresa. Theresa was a bit shocked in what Linde did. Theresa couldn’t really get a straight answer from Linde in why she done what she did. But what Linde told her about how mean Angela is, in terms of what she can easily do to a six year old girl is usually beat them to death if she truly wanted to. It is the only real reason why Jessica and Angela never tried to kill each other.
Theresa sighed and learned that Kevin was at her home, she agreed to take Linde home with her. It took awhile until they got home, which Kevin and Nathan learned what happened with Theresa. This was one of the most shocking things that Angela has ever done. Kevin was now suspicious about what his wife is planning with his children. Nathan was a bit furious about everything, but he couldn’t break his cursing code just yet. It was a bit of a struggle not to curse up a storm to yell at Angela for being a complete and utter bitch. He walked to his study while walking with a cane to it since he was still recovering from his injuries. Jessica was irked by seeing Linde K. Heartily crying and hugging her father Kevin. It hurt whom she is, which is a bit much to say the least. She tried to calm down Linde with doing something else besides crying, in terms fixing her something to eat. She even fixed her children the same thing since they loved her cooking. It did calm down Linde eating at a table, however, she had to go back home with her father to their house. She at least thanked Jessica for the meal, even though it hurts what happened to her in school. Theresa so desperately wanted to help Linde but didn’t know how.
April 18, 1949 was a quite wonderful time for the Walton Family and specifically Theresa herself. It was mostly because she gained a little sister, which was definitely a great thing. Her parents were excited in bringing home Maria Hilda Walton, who was the newest addition. Theresa was happy to meet her sister, as a cute little baby girl. She held her for a bit but gave her back to Jessica, since she needed to sleep. Catherine was having a slight attitude problem, since her mother had to deal with another baby girl and not having any time for her. However, Catherine got called by her mother, which made her jump slightly it is like her mother knew exactly what was wrong with her. Theresa all she did was giggle cutely at her older sister being a slightly of a worry wort. She had an okay day at her school, even though she did get into another fight with Linde. It was frustrating for her to deal with that whole thing if it wasn’t for the darkness within Linde.
However, a bit later, when the whole family was eating at dinner with their newborn daughter was sleeping soundly. A knock happened on the door, and it was a pretty angry knock, which Jessica got up and answered the door. It was no other than Kevin at the door, very very angry. He couldn’t hold it in anymore the secrets had to be revealed to Jessica. Kevin watched as Theresa walked in the room with a slight worry on her face. Theresa wondered what Kevin would have to say, since she kinda thought Kevin was alike his wife Angela. However, the biggest shock came when Kevin begged Jessica to take care of his children, Sasha, Linde, and Heather. It was only because of his wife has completely lost her marbles.
Angela outright suggested that the three of the four of his children move to Mobile, Alabama to live with Steve. This caused Jessica for a second to realize what Nathan was telling her and now here it is the truth right in the front of her. The reason for Linde’s darkness was because of Angela this whole time. Jessica walked into the kitchen and got a glass of water and sipped on it. She looked directly at Kevin and promised him to take care of Sasha, Linde and Heather. However, the first thing she did was curse up a storm and was definitely knowing that Angela was completely irredeemable for her actions. She always could never tell what was up with Angela, but Angela also had some form of darkness in her life. There was one single thing that Angela told her, which made her realize why she’s been acting like this. It should have been more obvious, but Angela and Jessica went their separate ways after that. Theresa wondered what her mother realized, but hearing her mother curse like that was a bit shocking.
Her mother has never cursed in her whole time alive, however, it seems like that cursing clause was finished now. It caused her to say, that Angela is a cruel bitch of a mother to Sasha, Linde and Heather. It made Jessica looked at Theresa and sighed and told her not to curse like that even though its the truth. This showed Jessica how much her children has grown up with their own thoughts and ideas, it is probably because of what happened to Theresa. Theresa was hit by Angela because she was drunk at school, it was a heavy blow to Jessica’s resolve to be friends with Angela. However, this was the final straw, since Kevin outright hates twin brother, which lives in Mobile, Alabama.
April 19, 1952, it was exactly 3 years later, which was when Sasha, Linde and Heather would be moving into the Walton Family. Theresa was abated with hope that Linde would take this as a correct and good move to heal. However, when Kevin and Pauline came with the three in question. Pauline was trying to hold back her tears about how horrible her mother is doing, which was a bit of a shock to Jessica. Jessica asked Kevin about what was going on about Angela. Kevin told her that Angela was basically drinking, taking hardcore drugs and smoking heavily, which made her completely hostile to the daughter she wanted. It was a turn around of awfulness, however, they told the three in question that they will be living in the Walton Family. Jessica hugged each of them including Pauline, who needed to stop crying since she’s 21 years old. It was definitely open arms, however, telling Linde that she will never see her mother Angela because of a Restraining order was harsh. Jessica needed to tear off that brand aid so it won’t hurt as much.
However, Linde was very much not really happy about what was said and ran towards Theresa’s Room. Theresa noticed, Linde was in tears and decided to take it upon herself to calm Linde down. Which she walked slowly into her room, with a smile on her face and noticed Linde crying on her bed. Linde looked very cute crying like that, it took her a bit to gain enough strength to walk up to Linde. Theresa did the one thing she thought was right, which was hugging and kiss Linde on the cheek. Theresa spoke to Linde, ’Everything will be alright, you will never have to go down the dark path because of what your mother did to you.’ These words pierced Linde’s heart, which Theresa saw sincere crying and the realization in her eyes. It was like that Angela was filling Linde with lies.
What Linde did next shocked Theresa big time, which was that she felt her first kiss being taken by Linde. It filled Theresa with happiness to finally felt the first kiss, which she wanted from the one she secretly had a crush on all this time. It was primarily because Linde was so highly intelligent even though she was pretty hard pressed in gaining friends. There was a reason, highly smart people require time to open up to other people. However, when Linde also apologized to her as well, it made her realize that she was grateful to her mother to never fight back with Linde. It was vindication of her sound stout doctrine in not hurting Linde in anyway. However, she learned a specific thing, Linde also had a crush on her. It made her smile cutely and giggle slightly and told Linde she was adorable while she was crying. It caused Linde to blush heavily, however, there was another bed within Theresa’s room. This made Linde a bit ask an odd question, like where they expecting them, which Theresa nodded. Jessica was always wanted to be prepared to make sure no one will feel left out in the Walton Family. However, Theresa was happy to hear that Linde’s Twin Sister and younger sister was much happier.
However, a few months later, Theresa noticed a letter specifically addressed to Linde from someone named Devin Stephan Heartily on it. Therefore, she gave Linde the letter since it was addressed to her, however, Linde gave out a specific gross vibe. Theresa was a bit confused and noticed it was a love letter from Linde’s cousin, which also made her gross out. If it wasn’t for the fact that Linde and her loved each other this letter would’ve probably actually persuaded Linde. It made her grateful that wasn’t the case, since Kevin made her smart to the fact that Steve is a not good influence. She saw Linde walk out of the room, which she read the love letter and its pretty obvious what she did. Theresa, knew that Linde gave Jessica the letter to destroy so she doesn’t have to see anymore like this. Because cousins shouldn’t be dating or marrying each other since that’s just wrong.
Theresa graduated High School with the highest grade of a B, which was only a bit better than Linde’s grade. It was May 31, 1958, which was almost four months after the Declaration of War in Vietnam. However, this was the month where Linde and Theresa was given their promise rings by Jessica after graduating High School. It was basically a late birthday present gift, which the Walton Family had to save up for them. Jessica wanted her two daughter to live happily, even though she didn’t want them to go to the Vietnam War. However, Theresa listened to her lover’s reasoning to join the war because they are all sound. It was definitely obvious, that Linde was trying to figure out a way to show up her mother Angela. However, Linde had no idea about what is happening with her mother.
Jessica had the look of if her daughter Theresa will join the war, with Linde. However, on her face was definitely square on protecting and being protected by Linde. It was a sad day, however, at least their twins didn’t really know what to do. Jessica told them good luck in their training at boot camp if they truly wanted to join the same branch as Nathan and Kevin before them. The two of them, whom was answering the call to join the war. They were driven to the nearest recruiting office specifically for the US Marines by Nathan specifically. Since Nathan works as a contractor for building the neighborhood in Huntsville now. However, her father will always miss being on the battlefield in the Second Great War as a US Marine.
Theresa was wearing, a beautiful flowered dress, which what she wore during her graduation. They had to go through evaluations before joining the US Marine Corps, which was only because of Linde’s specific problems within her school. The Recruiter said it was slight red flag to the joining the military, since they cannot stand anyone breaking down before they get on the battlefield. However, Linde answered all the questions the recruitment officer asked, which was definitely truthful and completely. Linde’s reasoning was sound to why she wanted to join the military because of Communism and the North Vietnamese. Each of their dad’s were apart of the Second Great War. The Recruitment Officer was a bit skeptical about allowing Linde to join the war, however, Theresa vouched for her. Her exact words was, Linde was saved from the darkness in her heart. He sighed with a bit of annoyance since he constantly remembers and old geezer, which constantly comes in here to talk about the good old days of World War 1. His last name is the same as Theresa’s, which made him rub his forehead.
He knew how much the US government needs new recruits into every branch of the military, and he accepted them into the US Marines. Basic training, will take until June since it is 12 weeks long plus 4 days of in-processing time. IF they at least deal with Basic, they will be sent to Vietnam. However, if there is any type of delay they will have to wait to be deployed in Vietnam at least next year. Because it’ll be tough since its to break you down then build you back up. The Recruiter told them if it wasn’t for Theresa wearing what she is wearing and her outright lack of attitude problem, after graduating high school and willing to join the US Marines directly at 18 years old with Linde. Linde wouldn’t have any chances to join the Military because of her mental deficiencies with specifically her mother Angela. It was a bit of a shocker to Theresa more to hear the name of the recruiter, it was Nickolas Leo Smith. He is Angela’s younger brother, but their parents never told Angela that she had a younger brother.
The Basic Training was pretty easy on Theresa, however, it was mostly because some of the Drill Sergeants remember Elliot. However, she wished she didn’t get any favoritism because they are all there because of basic training. It was a bit of a shock, however, they were tricking her, which they turned up the pressure. It was as hard or even rougher on Theresa than Linde. Only because of how annoying to deal with a Walton, in boot camp. She was showing how much more scared she was only when she wasn’t around Linde, it specifically showed how vulnerable she was. It’s like she is a different person when she’s not around her mother, which actually cried it got some of the Drill Sergeants, laughing at Theresa. She actually cried on Linde’s shoulders a few times while dealing with the truth of not being around her strong mother and the harshness of Basic Training. They wore matching promise rings and she basically tried not to make any friends in Basic since she was truly in love with Linde. However, it was a bit shocking that Linde actually gained some friends in Basic, because of her fighting style. Theresa had a basically a fighting style that was completely opposite of Linde. However, she wasn’t cocky since she used to lose fights against Linde.
When Basic Training was finished, it was a bit shocking to be honest for her, she actually done something, which was alike most of the Walton’s. They break down only to be built back up again by the Drill Sergeants that really know how to break them. It felt a bit annoying for Theresa to learn, she could have easily been broken down like that even though she’s been around her mother all this time. This took her to realize, how much she relied on her mother for support and advice. It was the very first time she tried to be on her own and it terrified her a bit. At least, she had her lover with her or she’ll be utterly hopeless. However, she enjoyed Submachine Guns more than the other weapons, which were about to be sent to the Vietnam War. However, the results of her basic training was in and it was the same level as her lover, Linde. They both start at the rank of Private, which is because they were at least average with what they learned in Basic. However, there was even more bad news, the wave they will be going to the Vietnam War would be the third wave. It was only because of certain miscalculations of how quickly the two completed the training, which was three months in June. Therefore, they would be delayed another six months before they are allowed to join the Vietnam War as Privates in the US Marines.
1959: She arrived in the Vietnam Jungles in the Third Wave, which was alright to her she didn’t really mind. However, Linde on the other hand was heavily frustrated about taking so long to reach the war zone. She always had a bit of a humorous way of doing things since she always like taking the fun out of Linde. Sergeant Lucas J. Whittaker was definitely going to be excited to join arms in. Even though Linde on the other hand would have to warm up to certain men. It’s always because Linde distrusts them a bit too much when it involves her. She was in the same boat as Linde in terms of wanting to do something great for her country. Even though, she had to start at Private. She’ll do everything in her power to protect Linde and they will both return from this war back home. However, she’s not an optimist about this she wants it to happen, which is more of a realist of wanting to get back home even though this war might change her. The Previous wars changed her grandfather and her father differently, however, she had no idea what will happen to her in this Vietnam War. In terms of how broken she’ll become because of the war itself.
