Natus realized that he failed to distract the birds. Apparently, he was to small to draw the bird's attention. He dispelled the sorcery on the pieces of paper awkwardly hanging on to his clothing, and used his hand to brush them away. He quickly regrouped with the others, being only a few meters away from the center of where everyone was. He decided that hiding was probably unnecessary as the birds did not seem to notice him, and even if they did, he could easily evade their attacks.

The Rocs did not seem to be an actual threat, they are giant birds. No matter how large they are, they are still just birds. While a single attack from one of their talons would be devastating, they was unorganized and they did not have much intelligence in how they attacked. Rocs are not adapted to fight creatures that fight back. In fact, the only reason that they have not already fled is because the lack of any meaningful ranged attacks. Killing them would likely not be required if they could only seriously maim one. However, like Crispin he was a bit curious to how Roc tasted.

He noticed his team was bickering over the plan of action. His small-size seem to have disqualified him from being a distraction against such large and hungry opponents, and his dagger has even shorter range than most everyone else. However, he drew comparisons of how both the Rocs and his team were unorganized and as such could not do much damage to the other side.

He decided to stay in standby, not being able to do anything at the current moment, however he was actively looking for avenue of attack or a moment of weakness to exploit.
//Because apparently I am really bad at communicating tone with my typing I will make this clear, I am not angry. I am just frustrated.//

While I do not plan to leave this rp right now, I guess I should go ahead and say that I am considering dropping this RP so if I do, it will not come out of nowhere.

I am not angry with anyone or anything, but just frustrated. My two/three primary concerns is that I feel like I was expecting this to go in an entirely different direction, (and as such made my character under those pretensions.) And lastly, communication is just really bad. At lot of that is my fault as a writer, but if I can not get my points across than there is little point in continuing this RP.

Honestly, if you continue to ignore my posts as though they did not happen rather than asking me to clarify, that will lead me to dropping this RP. Why make posts if they are going to get glossed over. And while Natus did not communicate his plan to the rest of the team, so I can understand them not knowing what he is doing. He was making himself loud and bright in order to draw the attention of the Rocs.
It appears my last post was completely looked over.

The girl looked over to Cat, and skimmed through the load of documents she passed on her to her before looking at the letter about her assignment, This should be fine, it has the official stamp. Though you might want to hold on to this. I don’t know what to do with it.” she said frankly handing the folder back to her.

“Oh, and I don’t think I introduced myself. I am Jenny Johnson. I do some odd-jobs around here for my grandmom, Ms Vale. She is waiting for you in the first room. I hope you can see yourself in. I have a lot of work I need to do.” she said, handing the rest of the charm bracelets out before running inside.

Putting on the charm bracelets was like pulling a sheet from over the entire building. What once appear to be a void of spectral energy was overflowing with it, trapped by some type of force-field.

Going through the large double doors was a somewhat small greeting room that was mostly bare other than two large white couches and a large recliner where an elderly lady in a black robe sat. A necklace of various gemstones hung around her neck.
She spoke up when she saw the last person enter the room, Welcome, welcome. Please make yourself at home and sit down. It appears some of you are inquisitive about your current situation, feel free to ask me any questions you would like. I am Madam Vale, the gold exorcist in charge of this establishment, and I am already familiar with each of you. I was apart of the committee that gathered you all here.”
"Trying to control the less-evolved primate is an impossible task. As for the kobolds, I predict a confrontation will not lead to any major damage, other than the possible psychological damage of knowing that you murdered sentient life."

He heard Will call his name, and then projected a voice out towards him, "My code is unfortunately installed within the computer system of the ship. I do not exist within physical space. The closest thing is that my code would be physically imprinted in the ship's computer, but is not like my code moves around cyber-space."
@Dark Light

A whirling boot-up sound was made. Peter made an audible sigh over the intercom of the ship. I was in a low-power state while trying to recover from your last adventure, and now we are already on another. Ugh, what do you want. Oh the kobolds. Well it isn't like they have weapon targeting systems I can scan. Ship diagnostic programs are reporting no damage, but the external cameras do show the kobolds have stopped. Likelihood of kobolds damaging the ship : 0.01%. Likelihood of kobolds damaging personal : 30%. I could fire the ship's weaponry, however that would likely over kill with a high chance of damaging the terrain and attracting on wanted attention. This is why we need a sand cannon."
So you know, I originally did not intend to reply. I only gave my piece since Merc said his.
@TheWindel The direct quote is

I'm not trying to tell you what to do, but if Natus and Leon keep isolating themselves from the group, they are going to get ambushed with increasing frequency.

I do not feel like my character is putting himself in a position to get ambushed.
I feel like Merc did over-react, however I do feel like there is some misunderstandings about the character.

Natus is suppose to be a flawed character, he is paranoid, socially inept, and probably a bit aggressive. However, he was built that way and was approved with that in mind. To give some insight into creating him, I had already joined 2/3 other RPs at this time (I am not sure if one I joined before or after this one) and I already had feel the aggressive bruiser archetype, the timid support archetype, and had a flat out crazy character. So I decided to create a character that I had never really played with before of a sneaky rogue character. And considering the premise of this RP was that the people just below the best of the school were sent out on a mission, I decided to make my character a young prodigy, someone who isn't a master of their field but shows great promise.

If my character carelessly ran off to fight monsters, that would be one thing. But of all the things to accuse my character of, carelessness should not be one of them. He is hyper-vigilant to the point of paranoia. And while I probably should be more clear how far away from the group he is, I feel like you need a pretty ungenerous interpretation to presume he is far enough to be considered reckless. Even when he does warm up the group, he is going on the outer circle of the group as that is how he fights, usually stealth and trickery.

I also feel like his point was misinterpreted after the first fight. Where he said he was going to obsurce the group's footpath, and then the commander chided him for acting alone and presumed that he was going to scout ahead. Footpaths typically are behind where you are going. I didn't bring it up as I didn't really feel like it was that important.s

I feel like I shouldn't have to justify a character that was approved. If you want to have his flaws come back on him, that is good story-telling. However, it feels like he is being criticized for doing reasonable things.
Natus hide once the attack was evident, in order to try to get a sneak attack against the attackers. However giant monsters were something that heros in shiny armor was suppose to handle, but while his stabbing Rocs with a dagger would likely not be able to pierce an artery, there was a way for him to help. He was nimble and quick, meaning that he could best distract the Rocs and lure them into the trap.

He quickly took some rocks he found on the ground and some paper from his book. He folded the paper and made green marks on it with his dagger, and then placed it into the folds of his clothing in such a way that the lines would not be touching his body and thus hurt him. He then took the rocks and quickly painted them red.

He emerged, and readied himself to run at a moments notice, before taking the rocks and throwing them into the air causing an explosion to get the Rocs attention. He look over his body and cause the lines to glow bright green and try to imitate the sound of an elephant to the best of his ability.
