The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Orchid would most likely be carrying them. He doesn't have much on him, and if things do get ugly, Orchid could actually use Brannor's sword before handing it off to him.

After cleaning up the cafeteria Donny heading over to a supermarket called “Mega Tenko”, some fox themed mart that All Might endorsed a while back. They were having a sale on meats and onions, so he decided that tonight for dinner he shall be making a beef bowl. He also of course wanted to pair off his meal with a desert, so he figured he'll go for a cheese cake. Simple enough for him. Shopping didn't take long as the lines moved fast and Donny knew everything he wanted. With everything in his tote bags he headed home.

But of course things weren't so simple.

”Y-Y-You…” As Donny walked through the neighborhood just enjoying the sights he ran into someone that made his nonexistent blood run cold. ”Me!” It was Shiki. She was eating a corn dog and seemed to have done some shopping herself. Her constantly, shark teeth smile made Donny visibly panicked. He had no idea what to do. ”Hmm? Yes? Is there something on my face?” Shiki said playfully as she did wipe some ketchup off her lips. She approached Donny which caused him to freeze up.

”Oh come on. I'm not a demon and I don't bite. Don't be so scared! You're hurting a young maiden’s feeling here…” Shiki said with faked sadness. Donny just stood there paralyzed with fear. Before he could react she was right in front of him and opened his eyes, revealing the blackness inside. It was only then that Donny stumbled backwards and fell onto his butt. ”Oho, so it's true. You were that black monster at the training ground! Good job with Point B by the way. Really smart idea there, my team ended up wasting so much resources trying to take it. Ah, if only we had that sort of power...” Donny’s lips trembled as he tried to get a word in. Shiki glanced at him as if actually wanting to hear what he had to say to defend himself. ”I-I told them to leave! N-N-N-No one had t-t-to get h-h-h-hurt!” this brought a smile to Shiki’s face as she stepped closer to Donny. Then she put a hand on his cheek so he had to look up to her, with the sun against her back.

”Did I say it was your fault? You really do lack confidence in yourself, Dark Matter~” Donny’s face turned to shock when she called him that name. Only Mina should know him by that name. ”People fear power, and you certainly are one of the most powerful students in your class. Ah, if only you realized that. Everyone else did and they're trying to rein you in. Teachers, students, even your friends will try to hold you back. Even you've blamed yourself for the power you've been given! Now that just isn't fair. It's not as if you choose to be like this.” Donny tried to get a word in but Shiki just didn't give him the chance. She squished his cheeks together like some sort of chicks before letting him fall back to the ground. ”So sad to think that your new friends are just taking advantage of you. Again. Shiki snapped her fingers and something just went through Donny’s mind. A painful memory that he's been suppressing. It came all in a flash but he remembers it as if he was still there.

By the time Donny looked up Shiki was gone. Getting to his feet Donny was in a daze. He wasn't sure what he was doing with himself anymore. Slowly he walked back towards the dorm. ”Food… Just gotta eat… Eat and forget…” Eventually Donny returned to the dorms. While normally most students would be excited about getting their own rooms, bunking with one of their fellow students, and other sort of block party stuff, Donny had specifically asked for his own room, even if it was a smaller one. He didn’t want people to see him in his true form and right now he felt like he needed the alone time. Figuring that most of the kids were either studying in their rooms or out Donny headed straight towards the kitchen. There was a community fridge that Donny could store his stuff in, at least he was pretty certain there was. But when Donny went to the kitchen he could see that there was already some people busy at work here. He needed the oven and stove, so he tried to leave before anyone noticed him.

”I’ll just have to set up my stuff in my room, I guess.”
@Hekazu

No, I understand ya. Again, I've taken advantage of your patience and I'm sorry for it. To be honest I guess I just felt very lazy about posting for this because, as a play-by-post RP, I'm usually much more lax about my activities. I mean it's just not the same as a voice or even chatroom type where you have to be immediately active.
Orchid had taken it upon himself to relieve the bandits of their meal back at their camp. No sense in letting good food go to waste after all. They had nothing in their belongings that Orchid was particularly interested in either and as Brannor had said, they did not have time to bury the dead. Best they could do was perhaps sanctify their corpses, but that wasn't something Orchid was capable of. Eventually the group settled into some sort of an agreement about how to approach the cultist's camp, though Orchid wasn't entirely privy. He just knew that he was suppose to be the muscle, which suited him just fine. Leave the complicated thinking to others. Even if he tried, his plans would be half-baked or illogical.

As they party moved onward about a mile away they came to a stop. Orchid had a good feeling why; the prisoner had mention a rear guard at about this distance, and this location looked like the perfect ambush spot. Orchid could tell because if he had to find a hiding spot for prey, this would be where he would do it at. Wide open area for a clear shot, but the advantage of cover and high ground to prevent the enemy from retaliating. Orchid wasn't too keen on using his shortbow either, so if they do get caught he'd need to close the distance or end up a pin cushion. And while Orchid was no coward, he knew the rest of the party wanted to get to the camp. Fighting these ambushers weren't that high of a priority. And if things do go badly at the camp, they need to be at their full strength.

Katalmach crouched low to the ground and looked around. They were still in the forest, in his element. As an outlander figuring out the terrain when on a hunt was just as important as knowing what your quarry was. If the party asked for it, Orchid could easily find them a path around these enemies and they may continue on their journey. It may take some extra time, but they'd be able to go without wasting resources on a big fight. "What do? Fight? Run? Orchid say run. Go around. Find big camp."
Malakaus stalked the city streets, prowling an area known as "The Deep End", a place littered with addicts, beggars, and psychopaths. He was here to hunt for a certain someone who thought they could back out of a deal they made. His target figured that Malakaus couldn't really succeed at the job he offered to do, and now the guy was trying to run. But there was no where left for him to hide here. Even among the insane and stupid, none hesitated to let Malakaus know where the poor sod was hiding. Wasn't long before the orc ran into a young human, barely fourteen years old. The kid was practically pissing his pants. He tried to beg, but Malakaus didn't even give him the chance to scream. One twist, and the kid's neck was broken. All Malakaus had asked for was a key. He had ask so nicely the first time too.

Swinging the key around his finger Malakaus went back to the city and to a bank. From there, a fairly normal looking girl walked passed and and he handed the key off to her. She went inside the bank, and about ten minutes after she came out, handed Malakaus a watch, and the two parted ways. He just kept walking through as if nothing had happened. The watch Malakaus had was big and bulky, way too impractical for a regular watch. But what Malakaus wanted was inside. It was a special type of magitek battery that could fuel different types of big rigs and other heavy duty vehicles, but was smaller than a D-Cell battery. This stuff would've made a fortunate on the open market if the cost of making it didn't take millions. But for Malakaus, money was no issue. All he needed was this prototype so his gearheads could start manufacturing them.

Grunt work like this normally would be done by Malakaus's minions, however he liked making it a point that he could carry his own weight as well. He especially liked flaunting the fact that such a large, rugged looking beast of a man could get away with walking around in broad daylight with nary a single person to try and stop him; he wasn't armed, or wasn't immediately dangerous, and unlike some others he had no record of criminal activity. Not because he never done a crime, but because he was smart enough not to be caught doing it. Even now as Malakaus returned to his parked truck, any evidence of his existence in the city was being eaten away by the vermin and rats of the city. Corpses were being consumed by hungry madden orphans, and corrupt bankers removed any trace of the man who's lockbox Malakaus's friend had accessed. By the time he drove off back to his HQ it was like he was never there at all.

”Yaaaah!” Mamoru shouted as she was once again tossed through the classroom. She at least knew that Yukari was going to toss her at Mako once she was sent airborne, so Mamoru tried to take a swing at the teacher when she flew pass. Of course she whiffed and landed on a desk. Mamoru was quick to recover and try to get back into the fight, however everyone else sprang onto Mako at that same time. Mamoru tried to position herself somewhere where she could lunge at Mako, but with so many bodies in the way the best thing Mamoru could’ve done was just wait it out. Maybe if they took just a moment to plan it, they could attack in a more synchronized manner. But right now it was nothing but chaos.

Eventually the fighting stopped once Roy managed to grab hold of Mako. Unfortunately for Mamoru, she failed to land a hit on Mako. Fortunately because Mamoru failed to land a hit on Mako, she missed out on detention. ”Eeeeeh? Detention? Then why would you tell us… To hit you…” Mamoru pondered it for a moment. She spoke her thoughts out loud as she considered what Mako was thinking, even sitting down at a desk just to think about it. ”Was this… Was this another test? Like a big lesson about how villainy, while allowing them to accomplish short-term goals, isn’t beneficial in the long-term. Like, even though some of us managed to hit you, we had to break the rules against hurting teachers to hit you, even though you’re the one who told us to try and hit you. Yeah, like a bad guy who isn’t just some thug, but one of them evil lawyer types! The ones who’d try to use our own code of laws against us. A really, really dirty trick where the bad guy goads us into doing stuff we shouldn’t do, like stealing, breaking laws, or even killing them, so that way they get the last laugh in the end even if we succeed.”

Mamoru thought she hit the nail on the head, assuming that the hammer was a giant rock that she threw onto the general area and just assumed that she hit her mark. In order words, Mamoru was rambling. ”Either way I missed the fun parts.” Mamoru pouted. Tomoe ran in from behind and hugged Mako and Mamoru was tempted to do the same. She even started wriggling her fingers and was in a pouncing stance. However Mako had asked everyone to put the furniture back where they belonged so Mamoru reluctantly did so, moving a few desks back into place and picking up a chair. ”Hai, Akane-sensei.”

It was quiet as everyone was writing their essays. Donny didn’t have much to do since he finished fairly early. He was tempted to just eat his snacks but he was certain that White Hat wouldn’t like it. He seemed to be a nice enough teacher, a chill kind of guy, but even nice teachers won’t allow students to break rules in their class. Donny ended up just sitting there looking nervous until the last essay was turned in. The meat bag knew he was in for a bad time when he heard the first words out of White Hat’s mouth.

What followed made Donny lay his head on the desk and try to block everyone out. This was worse than reading off the paper; White Hat made it plainly obvious that Donny was hiding something, when he was already trying so hard to hide that secret. He understood the meaning behind it, but White Hat’s hamfisted approach really made Donny just want to dig out of here and hide in a hole for a few days. White Hat didn’t even seem to notice that Donny volunteered to eat all that sewage waste, and instead criticized him for keeping the full extent of his quirk a secret.

The homework that followed didn’t really make Donny feel any better. He wondered if White Hat was really after Donny since the teacher wanted not just video and photo evidence of them using their quirks daily, but also they had to make a presentation. Even if Donny would take White Hat’s words into suggestion, it’s not as if Donny always uses his quirk aside from eating. He doesn’t exactly try to shapeshift or transform into anything aside from his meat bag. Even when he cooks, he uses two hands like he would in his disguise. Donny didn’t do crazy stuff like cooking with two hands, playing on the computer with another, reading a book, and brushing his teeth with multiple limbs. He’s been trying to live as a “Normal” person for these past ten years. His daily routine would reflect that.

”Dammit, this sucks balls.”

White Hat waited patiently behind his desk as the students filled out their papers and turned them in. After each one was handed in he made sure to give them a good, solid read. He could already tell most students seem more comfortable writing about their powers rather than discussing it, since it gave them a chance to really think about it than making stuff on the spot. Each student had a fairly solid grasp of their own powers and already had ideas how to best apply them. White Hat seemed mostly content. He waited until the last student finally turned in his sheet before taking a sip of water and holding the papers in his hands. Looking at his students White Hat looked like a grandfather who was about to tell an old story.

”How disappointing.”

It was not a happy story.

”Each of you have a solid grasp of your power and a good idea how to apply them. But very few of you fully utilize the abilities of others to further increase the potential of your abilities. Worse of all, many of you don’t even fully utilize the extent of your powers. You focus too much on one or two, and seem to have forgotten what other abilities you have.”

White Hat looked at the papers again and would speak about them one-by-one, from first to last. That meant Donny was the first to get critiqued. ”Donny Yang. What are you so afraid of?” White Hat was looking at the paper but he could see the boy’s shocked reaction. ”Allow me to be perfectly honest with you; the ability to consume any matter is only part of your quirk. There is much more that you keep hidden for whatever reason. I won’t pry into your personal reasons you hold back, but neither will I tolerate someone who is intentionally withholding their strength. When it comes to heroism, whether that takes the form of fighting a villain or saving others, you must still give it everything you got. Holding back does not mean you’re in control. It means that you’re letting something else determine your best.”

Next up was Acion. White Hat put the stacks of paper down exact for Acion’s response, though this time he did look directly at the boy. ”Acion Nakamiji. It goes without saying that your strongest element is in the sky. Your wings work best uninhibited. Being able to soar through open air, avoiding any treacherous obstacle on the ground, is a blessing most don’t realize. But do not grow complacent of your lofty throne in the skies, lest you forget how to walk with your own two feet. Do not let the perfect be the enemy of the good; just because you cannot fly, does not mean you are powerless. Learn how to utilize your wings in enclosed spaces. Utilize the nature of your feathers. Whatever decision you choose, remember that your wings aren’t there to just serve you. A hero has to be able to help the good and the innocent no matter where they are or what you can do.”

After Acion was Fumika. She actually had quite an extensive essay, even utilizing everyone else’s quirks. Even if she doesn’t fully understand what they could do she had the analytical mind to make use of what she did know, combining their abilities with her own quirk and talents. Indeed, White Hat almost had no criticism for her. Almost. ”Motome Fumika. Your ability to utilize everyone’s quirks to work on reconstruction throughout the city is impressive. Even though you only know a fraction of everyone’s abilities, you work with what you do know to create solutions you otherwise cannot solve on your own, and even so you do utilize others whose abilities can augment your efforts as well. Good job. However just as well, many have abilities they could use to help you, but what can you do to help them? That’s not to say that your Recording is not useful, especially for the example you have given. I did not even expect what you’re doing is possible for you. So it does leave me wondering just what else could you bring to the table? Look that up.”

Kasuke Mina was next, but her entry was terribly short. Knowing her mother White Hat already figured that she’s been drilled about the practical application of her powers, but this was bare bones. Nay, worse than that. At least bones have many pieces to work with. ”Kasuke Mina. Literally anyone could do what you’ve written for me. The purpose of this class is to expand the range of your abilities so that you can deal with issues that you currently aren’t suited for. But simply seeking out survivors, rescuers, and others who may be in the disaster area can be done by anyone with two legs, two hands, and a working pair of eyes. Even your quirk, for all the potential they have, you use as a glorified flashlight. In this class you will go above and beyond whatever your perceived ‘limits’ of your abilities are. And in order to do that you must constantly test your abilities and use them to the fullest. And when you think you’ve reached the apex, keep climbing.”

White Hat put down Mina’s essay and looked at Hitomi. She wasn’t part of the hero course so critiquing her about her quirk in application to heroism wasn’t necessary. However White Hat wasn’t going to pull his punches against her either. ”Maeda Hitomi. Taking care of the children is good, and I imagine that there are many who could use someone who can comfort and console them in such a tragic time. Heroes aren’t just people who fight villains, but those who can inspire the people with their actions and become a beacon of hope. And it is for that reason that your talents could also be used in the field as well. Even though you are in the support class, do not think that your duties would be easier than those in the hero course. Your presence and kindness can not only help those who have taken refuge at the shelter, but can also be used to handle wounded, lost, and fearful children and people who may still be in the disaster area. Do not underestimate the strength of a gentle appearance; many villains borne from tragedy could have been stopped before their fall if they only had a kind soul find them.”

Next up was Haruka, the other technomancy student. White Hat had high hopes for the girl, and she certainly demonstrated the sort of thing White Hat hopes for. But she needs more of a push and perhaps bigger ambitions. Far be it from White Hat to decide her future of course. But he did want the girl to realize that there are many more paths she could take. ”Haruka Sanegeyama. Your technical and mechanical knowledge would be a boon for the various repair and construction workers who would be at the location of the disaster. Even after the battle is over danger is always afoot, and even the tools we use to restore damage done can be dangers themselves. Your ability to assist them would be greatly appreciated. But don’t just consider yourself a tool, my student. You are a craftsman of your own destiny, and when you do not have the right tool for the job, it’ll be you who will make the tool that we need. Keep up the good work.”

Lastly there was Joann. Since she didn’t properly introduce herself last time, White Hat would do the honors. Joann mostly wrote about her quirk, which was good to know, except she didn’t really explain how she’d use it beyond simple things like fending off Looters. At least this class didn’t obsess about fighting looters, and only Joann seemed to used her quirk specifically for that. And she at least mentioned that her speed could also be used to reach people in danger. ”Joann Joruto. You wrote much about your quirk, what you can and can’t do with it, which is good. And it’s good to know that you’re seeking new and different ways to use your quirk. But you didn’t really explain how you would use your quirk in this situation. Making you into a portable generator is the most obvious use, but that is only the tip of the iceberg. Whatever abilities you seek to pursue, I hope you’re successful.”

After finishing his critique on everyone White Hat started passing out the homework for everyone. It was a project essay where students would need to write more about their quirks as well as how they can apply them to their everyday life. Video or photo evidence is needed. It will also be a presentation done at the end of the week, where both the essay and any video or pictures with it must be turned in and shown to the class. There was also additional points that the essay should cover, not only mundane utility. The essay specifies what sort of issues a student has due to their quirk, and what they intend/have done to address the issue. It did not have to be just physical, but also psychological.

”Komei Academy is young, much like you all are. There is still so much unknown about your future, your potential, and the path you will take. But I believe that we all can improve for the better, and not only can we learn more about how to control our powers or how to be a hero. But more about ourselves and our place in the world, the grand scheme of things. Now then class, you may use the rest of your time to work on your homework assignment. I do expect some form of video or image evidence of how you use your quick in your daily life, and if you usually don’t, do try! Practice makes perfect after all. Don’t think of your quirk as some secret technique that can only be used in emergencies, but a part of who you are that you should be proud to show.”

I REGRET NOTHING!

Mamoru wasn’t surprised that Mako made it clear that they’d have to be able to take on villains on their own. She knew this, but she also knew her weaknesses and limits. As much as she likes to play the part of the unstoppable warrior, she knows all too well how easy it would be for most enemies to defeat her. So Mamoru not only wanted to get stronger herself, but also have allies to back her up when Mamoru’s best isn’t enough. That’s why she’s been friendly and even willfully ignorant of how some people might think of her, hoping that if she just keeps trying, they’ll get along eventually. ”Hai, Akane-sensei.”

After giving everyone a comment Mako promised that everyone would have a vastly different viewpoint by the end of twelve weeks. Then she asked if anyone could land a hit on Mako. ”Eh?” That was a strange question. Was she being rhetorical? Was this another quiz? Mamoru thinks she could hit Mako, whether or not she can or she should is another matter entirely. For a moment Mamoru’s brain short circuited, and wasn’t really back online until she felt something pick her up. Eh!? What are you-” Then tossed her out of the window.

Mamoru didn’t really think about what she needed to do next since she had about two seconds before splatting on the ground. She materialized her shield and threw it to the ground, right on top of her landing spot. She hit the shield however her Aegis’s powers stopped her momentum dead in it’s track, and not even with a moment of whiplash. Mamoru simply dropped a few inches onto the ground with a huff. ”What the hell was that all about?” Shortly after Mamoru was launched so was Jett, though he quickly climbed back up to the window. He looked like a monkey when he did so. ”Right. This must be another test! Now how to get back up to class?”

Mamoru could walk, though that’ll take her some time and she might be late by the time she arrives. She could try to climb up like Jett, but while Mamoru was confident in her abilities she’d have a bit of a harder time trying to get a hand-hold. But then Mamoru remembered one thing: She was in villain studies. Surely this was another test by Mako to see how well the students could apply a “Villains” mentality to problem solving. The ideal option was for Mamoru to run back up stairs or even acrobatics up to the classroom like Jett, however one would take too long and the other wasn’t something she could do well. But Mamoru is skilled at using her shield.

Running up to the wall as fast as she could Mamoru ran up as far as she could go until she felt like she was about to fall. But before she did she reached out and manifested her shield into her hand, right next to the wall. Just like before with the car brake Mamoru’s shield would materialized fully, even if it has to break anything that would stop it. Including the wall. Once her shield was lodged into the wayy Mamoru used it to get up to the next level, jumping and smashing her shield into the wall again until she could reach the classroom window. She would have gone in the same way she gotten out, but Jett was at the other window. ”Knock knock!” Mamoru said as she knocked on the window with her hand. If no one opened it for her, it looked like Mamoru was about to open it herself.

After the embarrassment of introducing himself Donny listened to the others. While he knew most of them and their quirks thanks to the team fight this way he could get a better understanding at what they did. After Donny was Mina, who he was already familiar with. As was Acion who came right after, though Donny noticed that Acion was speaking weirdly. Or differently. Donny just shrugged it off as Acion being quirky again. Next was a purple-haired girl who didn’t really introduce herself, but her powers were electrical related. Donny already felt nervous about her since she seemed to be a rough time, and electrical attacks can hurt Donny. Not as bad as fire or ice, but most than just punching and stabbing.

Next was Fumika, who was definitely a weirdo. The way she talked and acted made Donny really unsure what was going on in her head. He could sense the loneliness, but he wondered if there was something more or even worse going on inside his head. He wasn’t sure if that was something he could deal with. Next was Hakura, Donny’s cooking partner. Turned out she was a technomancer or something. She could make power armor and robots, which Donny thought was pretty cool. He wished he knew how to make robots. He also noted that Hakura sounded just as nervous as Donny did, but instead of stuttering the entire time she just kept rambling. It was kind of… Cute. Lastly was the girl that Donny never met, Medae Hitomi. She was a second year meaning that she was pretty much everyone’s upperclassman. She seemed pretty nice though. She was from the support class too, so Donny didn’t have to worry about running into her with the A2 gang. Her quirk gave her the power of a goat and sheep, which wasn’t really that impressive. But who knows, maybe there’s more to her then meets the eye. Goats can be pretty badass.

White Hat continued on the class and mentioned how most everyone only offered combative applications to their quirks, while a few actually thought of how to use their quirks outside of combat. Donny already had a few ideas how to use his quirk aside from fighting, but he was just too embarrassed to say he wants to be everyone’s dump truck. White Hat then showed a disaster area on a projector and wanted the students to write down how they’d handle repairing and taking care of the stuff there. The disaster was already gone, but there were still people that needed saving, as well as a few trouble makers that could be handled.

When Donny received his pen and paper he immediately started writing things down. Though he didn’t mention it he kept in mind that if he was in his “hero” form, he’ll probably scare people. He’ll take advantage of that to scare off the civilians and looters though. If he just shows up and makes some threatening noises they’ll leave the area so they don’t steal anything or get themselves caught into danger. Next was the practical application stuff. Because he was writing it down instead of saying it out loud Donny had no problems writing that he would eat the raw sewage that flooded the street. It wouldn’t make him sick and it would give him something to eat all day. Who knows, maybe people would even thank him. ”I hope he doesn’t read these out loud.”

Other

White Hat listened to everyone introduce themselves and speak about their powers, noting that Joann did not actually introduce herself. He also noticed that many of the students seemed to only think about their quirks in relation to heroics or emergency, with only two who actually had an idea of how to use their quirk otherwise. But that was to be expected; he was certain that many students here also had limits on their quirks that makes them unable to utilize it regularly, which often builds the mentality that they can only use their quirks during such drastic moments. This class would teach them how to use their powers under far less duress however.

”Wonderful, just wonderful. I’m happy to see so many of you who knows the strengths and limits of your powers. But your quirks, much like knowledge itself, can always be expanded and improved. I can’t help but notice that only a few of you actually had an idea what your quirks could be used for outside of a combat or emergency situation. As they say, practice makes perfect. And if all your practice is how to fight with your quirk, you’ll be useless in any other situation.”

The projector changed again to a set of questions with some images up next to them. It showed a rather rundown looking area, as if there had been an earthquake or a huge fight between powerful quirk users. ”After catastrophes it is not only a hero's duty to save lives and minimize the damage, but also assist in the repairs afterwards. While professionals and other heroes more suited to reconstruction are always sought, they are also in high demand and short supply. To that end, other heroes with quirks or abilities not considered "suitable" may be called in to assist in any manner they can. This can be as simple as just lending a helping hand, or utilizing their quirks in an unconventional fashion.” After White Hat finished speaking there was some information underneath the disaster area, giving some information about the location.

Civilians have been evacuated, however there are still unreported civilians who may have no escaped or casualties hidden in the rubble.

Water and power to the entire area is gone, forcing workers to rely on water trucks and portable generators.

The train tunnels underneath the area is also without power, partially collapsed, and there is a gas leak due to the damage sustained.

Damaged sewage pipes flood the streets with waste and other toxic waters.

Many buildings that are still standing are nearly about to collapse.

There have been reports of civilians entering restricted area to find lost friends, family, and possessions, as well as those taking advantage of the situation to loot and steal.

A shelter has been established nearby for civilians who have lost their homes as well as the injured. It is crowded and supplies are in high demand.
Disaster Area

Once each message has been displayed White Hat gave everyone a moment to mull on it before he spoke again. ”Professionals are hard at work to do everything in their power to restore this damaged community. But as heroes you too have been called in, and must use your powers and abilities to assist in repairs and safety.” White Hat then started handing out papers for everyone to write on, even a pen for those who didn’t have one or just wanted to get a new one. They were black pens with a white fedora hat near the end. ”Write your answers about what you can do or would like to try and do. Be creative, but also be realistic. Also in this situation, assume that each of your in this same area.” White Hat wanted to mention this to see how many students would try and utilize each other and how many would try to fix everything themselves. He could already imagine many who would try and save the city themselves.

"Tch." The orc grumbled when he started hearing war horns. Not even a moment to rest for this washed up warrior. Malkai knew however that right now, he wasn't in any shape for a direct confrontation, even if he managed to reach the mouth of the cave. No, he needed to be a bit more cunning then that. He needed to set up an ambush of his own. No doubt that whoever blew those horns were going to rush the cave, so heading over there would be a death sentence. But the forest wasn't too far away, and there were plenty of corpses on the beach to hide among. For this orc didn't survive so long solely through his skills in battle, but through underhanded trickery as well. Still however, this island would not be kind to him for long. Malkai would have to meet up with the rest of the Company soon enough. Mustering what strength he could Malkai proceeded towards the cave entrance, hidden in his approach.
